NO. I am using what they recommended last time I had it tuned up. About 2 years ago at Best buy. It is called Webroot. I renew it annually.

Make sure you removed the preinstalled antivirus from Dell. Two antivirus programs don't play well with each other.
I'm going to bed as well. You can PM me if need be later so we don't clog the thread.

Still camping at MiL's house. FiL passed away yesterday :(

Vapes, cold drink, YouTube, Stephen King and hanging in my CKs with the dogs in the den after midnight peeking out back every so often to try to catch deer, fox or Wile E. Coyote cutting through the yard and dis joint has good late nite ambience.
There's a huge meadow with a pond behind the woods out back and we get occasional varmint trespassers so draining the dogs after dark is a thrill.

OUAT we were at my family's lake cottage in central NH back when I had a fuzzy black dog (chowbrador) named Virginia. I liked to keep the drapes open so the wall to wall glass could reflect the fireplace at night. We were reading in low light when I noticed a black fuzzy outside the door next to me. Puzzled, I looked down and Virginia was snoozing on the floor. A 300lb black bear was looking through the door window 3 feet away from me. I chased him away. He actually hauled ash outta there when he saw that I saw him but I chased him away sounds better.
I did go outside to stomp on the deck and yell so he wouldn't come back.
....ing beggar.

If more than 2-3 windows are open at a time, it freezes up. I get a message (Google Chrome is not responding)
Going to bed. Thanks for your help
Chrome is an absolute memory hog. Happens also in my old mac, I had to upgrade memory to 16GB. But on my computer is an i5. So if you can, buy a new computer.

Sort of shinies came today. Rayon, batteries and some 26ga wire I was already running out. I'm not using much because long ago (2 or more years) I bought a big box of 26ga A1 premade coils. At 0,8 and 0,6 they work like a charm. But sometimes I want more turns or a smaller inner diameter, so spools last me 3 years or more!
I will report on rayon later. As I wicked it it popped like crazy for the first part of the tank (Zeus sinle coil) and now it seems to have stopped. I usually wick very tight so that it doesn't pop that much.

I run 2 similarly spec'd laptops with Windows 10, all day long. I can watch Netflix, have other programs running, and have several tabs open in chrome with no issues
I use them as a guinea pig rigs for all sorts of things, and allow my kids to use them so they don't do unspeakable things to the ones I care about.
Keeps my CDO from going haywire too. Lol.

While that's definitely an older spec machine it should serve for e-mail, web surfing and the like without a hiccup.

I'm going to guess there's a rogue program or 2 antivirus programs fighting or something like that.

Lots of people will restore a PC because it's having issues and then re-install all the same stuff they had on it before. Causing it to quickly return to the state it was in before the restore.

Think about it. It's spec'd out way better than most Chromebooks or the like so web browsing, e-mail, and basic computer tasks shouldn't be an issue.

If she can afford a new computer and wants to spend the money, I certainly wouldn't argue against it.

Thus endeth the opinion of a cheap ba$t@rd.............. :D

Depends on what you have running too.
Just last week my Motorola G5 plus started heating up. I usually go with a VPN when I'm out and about, so I thought something is running on the background. Restarted it, and it stopped heating up. But for most of two days, either at home, on data or foreign wifi heated up so much I had to take the case out. Processes start piling up, overheats and slows the phone a lot. With low data surfing numbers (I have a very cheap company that gives you barely 13/15MB) doesn't heat up as much. That's why I use a VPN, not the first time a phone has been seeded for bitcoin use :)

Didn't make my target of 0.16, ended up with 0.24. Off to learn how to drip ...

That is one of the strangest builds I've ever seen, they used to be that wide back in the day on silica.
What was the gauge and what power were you looking to run it at?

I'd add 4 or 5 more wraps on each side and bring the loops in a lot closer together.

Wrap your coil as a contact coil and then pull it apart very wide, push it back together and let go to have it bounce back with perfect spacing. All of this is done while the coil is still on the mandrel.

4mm coil of Kanthal A1 28ga x3 [twisted] running at 65-85W, though I was looking to run it cooler. Anything over that was getting a bit too toasty for me ...

Good morning shiny folks! No great news around here. Still waiting on my replacement Proton. I did win some contest from Innokin. My first ever win!

It's a Zenith Kroma kit and am EQ pod. If only I were still a mtl vaper. I'll try the EQ as I don't have any pods, and see if I can find the Kroma a home with some wanna stop smoker.
