Oops just saw you wrote tank. I like the metal version better than resin or carbon fiber.
Cool. I got one of each.

I've seen a lot of good vibes about the Mesh but I've been so busy with work and CFB stuff that I haven't concentrated on vape gear. Last purchase was the Cylon and Bravo. Both of which are outstanding.

Please don't explode the lambs!!!!

Condolences @Mowgli .

Nothing shiny to see here except I do have a charger with a dash that seems more complicated than the one in my mom's BMW sports car. I wouldn't mind that car except it costs like 500 dollars if you pop a tire (I do that all the time, anyway) the maintenance would be exorbitant, and it needs a new clutch and gear ratios done (probably MORE) because my mom has had it so long, she's like, beaten it down to like Yugo status. Also, it takes that "high octane" gasoline, and well that seems pointless to me unless you are actually like, at altitude.

It was fun to drive to Chicago one time (very curvy highways) while she was asleep. I got it up to about 145, felt like about 90. My mom wanted to know how we got that far (I was young, the car was young) but I did not disclose it. That was pretty fun but now?

Well, my mom can't beat up my charger, so there's that.

Yugo status.

Yugos can be great fun.
A friend had one in high school and 4 or 5 of us went everywhere in it.
We called it the 'We-go'.

Please don't explode the lambs!!!!

I would never do that!
I might smother them with hugs, kisses, sage, mint, au ju..........

That build has a heat flux of 135@65W and 175@85W which is quite cool, I try and keep my builds in the 200-250 range but I like a warm vape. The problem with triple 28ga twisted Kanthal is the resistance is so high, you have to create a 0.5 build (8 wraps) to get a functional coil on a 4mmID. Then for me to get within my 200-250 heat flux I would have to put over 200W+ to those coils. It would be much more productive to use 22ga Ni80 instead.

I do twist wire to get a heavier gauge, for example Unkamen only has their SS430 (best SS for TC IMHO) in 28ga so I've used dual and triple twisted with that to get more coil mass running under TC.

I'd reduce the diameter to 3mm, add 3 wraps or more and space it much tighter, I think you'll find it performs better. Also twisting up a pair of that 26ga Ni80 would be better than the triple 28ga KA1 as well IMHO.

Just offering suggestions, I'm not telling you how to vape or make your coils. Whatever works for you is all that matters. :vapor:

@TrollDragon [and everyone],

I'm the newbie round here, so any advice, suggestions and input is always extremely welcome. So much enthusiasm, yet so little knowledge ;).

The "Spider" was an experiment, I did my best to follow the coil calculator that comes on a certain "old fashioned train" website. They recommended 3.5 turns @ 4mm ID, which I overshot slightly. The previous test coil I made had a much higher resistance, and took ages to ramp up [SS]. I am looking to try and get something that matches my Cleito 120 coil performance wise, which is 0.16 ohms, but works well at 50-65W with a cool but flavoursome vape, so it is running grossly underrated. It is still going strong 6,670 puffs later, almost a month now. It has a huge chimney coil, hence me going for the 4mm dia.

I'll give the 2x26ga Ni80 @ 3.5mm ID with 8 wraps when I get a chance later, along with a bigger triple twisted version and see how they compare. With photos of course - I need practice, you guys need entertaining .

Ugh worksheet madness and I started counting and I am MORE OR LESS 3 weeks out from my "tentative" start date. So, I dug out that lady's card I am DEFINITELY calling... LOL later, so I can be anxious all through yoga and etc. because you know that's how I roll.

They SHOULD have some information for me by now (I mean it's been over 5 weeks) especially since they have put my status and job search on TOTAL hold. This woman HAS to have been asked the question before.

My sis wants me to call crazy friend who is having a hard time again... and I will, after I do what *I* need to do today. Which includes figuring out dinner which may be really weird? Apparently I bought some barbequed meatballs (just the meatballs nothing else) so they have sat in my freezer forever.... I'm thinking they'd go good with popcorn I seem to have a ton of popcorn.

I refuse to eat soup again. LOL.

BMWs are like that. The one she got cost something like 60K back in the 90s sometime, I think it's expected if you can do that, like, you can pay for those big fat racing tires that puncture if you look at them funny. My mom eventually got sick of it and switched to knock offs.

I pay 10 bucks at the unlabeled place run by persons of uncertain status with no name "shop" as I call it. They either plug it, or replace it with a similar plugged tire. I'm not supporting American business to be fair, but I am also NOT supporting Mazda either which I believe is a non American business. My Mazda ALSO has the stupid skinny tires. One time I got a puncture by running over a THORN. I was not pleased but apparently lifting it is like, impossible so I can't get sturdy tires. I told the husband he had to get me real tools so I can ACTUALLY change my tire on the way to or from work. I also told him he better Loosen the LUGNUTS which do not need to be tightened to five million PSI by the air compressor tool.

He acted like I was planning to drive the car on fire without a seatbelt or brakes. Little does he know that I know how to work the air compressor and if he won't I'm doing it myself. I mean... I don't want "help" from anyone from where I an driving FROM to like where I am driving TOO. I have to like, cross border patrol like 3 times it seems like. So, those tires are going to have to be removable.

ANOTHER REASON I must plan for my start date. LOL. Apologies.

I think the unit you're looking for is footpound (or whatever silly unit the US uses :p).
And yes they need to be tightened to ft-lb specified in the little booklet that came with your car and that you don't know where the f:censored: it is now, anything from 80 ft-lb upwards (iirc correctly, I usually deal in Newton*meter). So no sillyvillynilly loosening plox, get a wrench with a long lever then you won't care how tight they are.

The average is 90 to 120 ft/lbs. ;)

Just zinging them on with an impact gun is not recommended.
