Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. Still want it :D

Thats a savage price, I mean it is badass. I just feel like their kinda taking advantage of the "high end" mech community with that though. By only making 5 of them and thus making it "exclusive" so people pay a boatload for it! It sure am hawt tho [v

Nope. Looks like a $500 Barbie flashlight, without the light. I seriously see nothing special about this piece, it is literally a $150 mod with a blah paint job (not even engraved or etched) and a limited edition number painted on it. For $500, I would expect exotic materials like silver or unique craftsmanship. Even the product description describes it as a basic, all purpose, affordable mech.

“The Back 2 Basics v4 Mech mod is the reiteration of Purge Mods' acclaimed and beloved B2B V3, the affordable all-purpose mechanical vaping platform designed to push your cloudage, not your wallet. Borrowing many facets from the previous version, the B2B V4 has a solid naval brass chassis broken only by the 510 threading, firing switch, and an impressively etched signature Purge skull logo. The proprietary magnetic Purge firing switch is the same high performance enabler that comes in every Purge mech mod, endowing this mech the incredible performance Purge Mods is known for. The Back 2 Basics v4 can accept 20700 and 21700 battery cells as well as 18650s by using the included delrin battery adapter.”

And Smok (yes, Smok) did the magnetic switch mech first, for $30.

Then SMPL, HCigar, and Infinite jumped on the bandwagon.

I agree, I love the design but 500$ is just shamefully taking advantage of the vape/mech community. I like the 80s style paint job, but their only making it exclusive as an excuse to jack up the price and make a boatload off of a cerakoted brass tube. I mean you can only cerakote and machine a brass tube so well. I feel like this is shamefully taking advantage of people.

morning all. not been around, and probably won't be, for a while but have attempted a catch-up of sorts.
there has been a couple of shiny things arrive. the titan and gen3 are standing out (titan weighs 760g with the glaz RTA on top)
XS7I31w.jpg

41mm titan RDTA is inbound.
also got the wotofo profile mesh RDA. there's still the fearful hit of dry. don't think the spring is strong enough on the clamp. will try more rayon with the next build.
anyway...hope you're all good.

Well, I said I wanted one. I wouldn't actually buy one, though. That's just stupid money. Maybe I'll take some teal and pink paint to my V3 and hawk it on ebay...

I'm in!
I got an 'A' in fingerpainting, but I flunked the whole pasting thing.
What? Don't judge, I was hungry.

oh yes...it certainly is. i love it. simple, powerful, great battery life.

I love the adjustable voltage mods. I have a Voopoo Alpha 1 that can do adjustable Volts..but uncertain why they didn’t put a potentiometer in the case..looks great with that tank.. please let us know how long you get on the quad battery setup

same set of cells (4 x brand new 25Rs) since saturday and using the titan 90% of the time. 3.1V mostly though did 3.3V and 3.4V for a bit. batteries still have 3/4 of their charge so it's lasting rather well. that was once of the reasons i got it...well that and the shear size of the thing.

But didn't Smok mount the magnets reversed on the first run? :D

Good morning all! Sucks it's a federal holiday and there's no mail service.

Same reason I picked up the Bertha, I get weary of changing out batteries often..I have 6 set-ups on my table next to me that I rotate through with different juices..Of course it depends on the build on how long each will last..But even then, and the mere fact that i have plenty of batteries in my inventory..I would say it will be nice to go weeks without charging..
