True. Unless you are using one of the bottles with an air release valve like the lost vape ones, refilling through the 510 takes a while.
Every time you squeeze liquid in through the 510, you have to wait for the trapped air in the squonk bottle to make its way back up into the refill bottle or break the seal, which can be messy.

But that's why you line up the little marks on the bottle to assist with the air influx

If you're vaping 2ml a day I don't think that's necessary.

That's like bringing along an extra pair of shoes in case you wear them out while going to the store for milk.
That's simply an average value. I like to be prepared for the outliers - which can and do happen especially when I go out drinking with friends and they start vaping my stuff.

Do you both have refill bottles? If yes then face it, you're doing it wrong. Try harder :p

Yes, and I don't use them because it takes longer and adds steps to my refilling routine than just taking the bottle out.

They say trying harder never killed anyone, but why take chances. :pervy:

He's operating on the premise that taking the bottle out to refill is messy, etc. so he needs to fill through 510. It's not any messier either way unless you screw up.

I refill using the GeekVape flask and a BB Vapes brand refill top for 60ml Gorilla Bottles.

Unscrew the RDA and screw on the refill bottle, invert the mod and squeeze out the air.
Holding the squonk bottle compressed turn the mod upright again and let the refill bottle put juice back into the squonker. Repeat if necessary, nothing could be easier and no mess at all. Because no one has ever had juice squeeze out the feed tube trying to get the bottle back in the squonker before... :glare:

A lot of the success in using refill bottles depends on the bottle in the squonker, super softs will require you to squeeze the refill bottle, whereas the bottle in the Furyan will actually suck in the sides of the refill bottle. :D

I wish all squonk bottles were the same quality as one in the Furyan.

No, you don't have to get air out before connecting the refill. Again. Screw them together, flip the mod upside down and squeeze the air from the squonk into the refil, compressing air in the refill bottle. That pressure will assist you when you flip it again and squeeze juice from the refill into the squonk. Simple physics indeed.

Why wait when you can squeeze? ;)

I have squonk mods and I have refill bottles, I have no problem refilling a squonk bottle with juice in there and I don't wait for air to do anything. Do you both have refill bottles? If yes then face it, you're doing it wrong. Try harder :p

So the air has to be out of the squonk bottle. Right.

The furyan is so easy to pull though.

Incoming mini-fridge... today...amongst other things... attempted contacting post office this morning to intercept package before placing on truck for delivery and my idea was nixed by the PO

Still looking for wicking for the 40 mm hive... seems we were out of Charmin...looking eagerly at the new white kitchen towel... noticed it's made from Egyptian cotton... Any others used stuff from Egypt to wick?o_O

I feel like you have to take off the atty anyway. It’s pretty much a wash. The only mod I use a refill bottle on is my anchor nano because that bottle is annoying as well to get in and out.

I completely agree, it'll take longer. If you're balancing on a 150 foot crane though you might not want to have lube all over your hands so having the option to refill with zero chance of spillage isn't bad.
So the air has to be out of the squonk bottle. Right.
Once they're connected, not before. So it doesn't matter at all if there's liquid left in the bottle or not, which was your entire point if I remember correctly.
the refill bottle requires the bottle to be completely empty and if you don’t fill all up in one go then you are sol
I've described you the process, I've linked you a video showing the process but I can't understand it for you, you'll have to do that yourself.

It's the exception, but still a PiTA to unscrew the top and fill it with juice and try and get the cap back on tight again with that thin bottom part.

My Furyan has a Tauren on it which has top cap indents for grabbing the RDA base to remove it easily just like the B2K does. Only takes a second to remove the RDA and reinstall it with no mess.

Rayon, you can stack as many strands as you need to.

So did you order a Bertha V2? $600+ for a PWM mod is wicked steep, you could build yourself one for a lot less.

We tease, argue, and give each other crap in this thread, it's required. It's never personal.
Untar and I would argue with fence posts and win.

There's nothing to win. It's not about you or me, it's about helping people to decide what to buy based on accurate information. No need to get
PJSalt.png

I've seen people accidentally squonk while removing refill bottle, there was definitely spillage
That's just natural selection for the guy on the crane, the product is 100% flawless
