That’s what mine is! I love it. Pull it out almost every summer. If I ever rehome it, you’re first in line.Don't you dare sell it... My mom had a canvas&leather, I lost it when I moved... I hate myself.

I don't have any recommendation for chip'd mods but have you considered a mech mod, or two?
They are dead simple, have very little that can go wrong and some would probably last through a nuclear war.. We wouldn't but the mod might still be standing....
If you are worried about vaping gear getting the ax and want to make sure you have gear that will last forever +1 day, I'd recommend a mech...
Sorry not what you asked but my .02 nonetheless...![]()
Mech mods make me nervous, but I'm attracted to their simplicity and potential longevity (electronics are so persnickety). I need to study up on them some more.
If you are not an ultra low ohm vaper then they really are simple and nothing to be worried about. Get good batteries don't get crazy with low ohm builds and rock on...
Either way, something to consider...
The SL is tough. Mine has been dropped more than I care to admit. It has s few small dings that are barely noticeable. The finish on mine is getting worn though. I have had it for abut 3 months.I wouldn't want to drop either mod, but I'm betting the SL Class will fare much better than the Mirage in that situation. SL Class would likely just suffer some cosmetic issues. The Mirage resin around the mod isn't very thick, and the battery door might be a problem in this situation as well.
The SL Class feels like a tank in comparison.
I will never be a builder and am using the Zenith tank. Would that work? If so, what mech mod would you recommend? I see that some come with a locking mechanism. That sounds comforting.
Sure would... What ohm coils do you use in it?
Yes most of the better mechs come with some type of fire button lock...
When I was into mechs I only had high end ones (Super T, GG, Atmizoo ect) so sorry I don't have any new mech recommendations to offer....
Darn. I originally said which coils I use but then thought it was extraneous info.
Anyway, I'm using both the .8 and the 1.6 ohm coils.

Should be a-ok... What watts do vape them at? If you are not pushing him watts then good to go.....
Low. So far, 8 minimum and 15 maximum.

It all comes down to individual tastes. I have an old sx m class I still love. The Mirage didn’t tick the boxes for me, but there are people that absolutely love it. There are a couple of people on this thread that adore their mini SLs. Buy the one that appeals to YOU. I don’t either is a bad choice.I was attracted the SX Mini SL because I was looking at mods with Yihi chips. Is there something wrong with it? I just started my research and have yet to read through what's been said about it here. Maybe I should switch my sights elsewhere (where?).
The Mirage looks nice, though. I may have to add it to the "covet" pile.
Keeps me coming back. That's a stellar rig you have, there.Started vaping on my first pure mech today and absolutely love the vape. I get it now, even the silver contacts are a big difference.
No, needs a protruding pinI will never be a builder and am using the Zenith tank. Would that work? If so, what mech mod would you recommend? I see that some come with a locking mechanism. That sounds comforting.
