They have a lot of stuff coming in for restocking apparently. It seems like they get stuff in waves, not constantly.
How long is their shipping time? I might grab one for my SIL if it’ll get here quickly enough. Doesn’t look like they have free shipping after x amount of dollars, but at that price...geek vape flint? $17? did.

Not battery stuff comes pretty quickly. I ordered an internal battery mod on the 10th (middle of the night Thursday there) and it “shipped” Monday morning with a Usps tracking number. The only option for batteries was “special US shipping”. Since Usps is “awaiting package”, I’m guessing they ship it to their US warehouse, who then sends it to the PO. I checked today , and it’s still “awaiting”.
I have seen the white/UV pink Colossal. Pink is not my color however they wanted to show it to me. In the building it was white. I had to go outside for it to turn to pink and even at that it was more on the light shade of pink. I cannot remember if it was overcast that day or full sun as it has probably been a good year or so since t I saw it. Clever concept however not my cup of tea.
I assumed since they are on the chart they would be ok. At least better than wore out 18650s. Live and learn, it probably wont be the last purchase I'm not 100% happy with.

I entered a contest to win a Minikin 2 Kodama that I plan to win, damn it, so I found that video very interesting.
The type in the Colossal manual is ridiculously small, isn't it? And the manual itself is kind of chintzy. Doesn't go at all with the quality of the mod.
I got my black Colossal today (those guys at Vapor Range are fast), and I have to confess it suits me more than the gunmetal (no fingerprint problems, for one thing). It doesn't match my black tank, unfortunately, so stainless steel will be sitting atop it (shiny silver and matte black look better to me than two different matte blacks). Haven't tried it yet--it was so cold, I had a hard time removing the battery door--but our first date is bound to go more smoothly than my rocky start with the gunmetal version.
All in all, I've decided the Colossal is lovely. I am just suspicious of the new. I expect problems and jump to the conclusion that I've encountered some deep flaw when really it's just a matter of my caution getting the best of me.
On a completely different, though shiny-related, subject, how long do overseas packages tend to linger at customs? The order I placed with Sourcemore on December 20 finally made it to these shores, but the package has been sitting at customs since the 14th. Normal?
mine have always sat in customs for 3 or 4 days.... It's kind of a pain but it needs to be done (safety and all)

no need to fret dear Lady... At certain times it takes a bit longer due to heavy volume of imports.
I've had a package clear customs in NY in 3 hours and another sit for a week. I have zero idea what effect of any the fed shutdown is having on that process to boot. I know they're obviously open, but not sure who is or isn't getting paid to have to work anyway. I expect if a customs inspector for small packages rather than container loads isn't getting paid may well be more prone to just call in sick. I know that's been a problem in other agencies where work is mandatory but without payment like air traffic controllers who are now calling in more frequently and flight schedules are starting to be affected.
Now that there is pretty and the way I would choose to do it as well. Beautiful work and excellent choice.
