Concoction Creating Cave
sourcemore. On sale for $29.95, less 10% (2019 is the code), plus shipping.

Typing that gave me second thoughts about my decision to abstain.
Sorry but I ain’t going down alone...I’m taking someone with me...at that price you’d be crazy not to buy one. It’s simple arithmetic, you must do it.....DO IT!!

I certainly don't have shinyitis, nor will I likely ever develop it (cross my fingers ;)).... But I just had to order another tank because within just two short days I had the glass on two of my tanks bust  I think it may be due to the cold temperatures we have dealt with lately (-40 below zero).... If not the cold, then I have no clue what has caused it..... Just ordered a OBS Engine nano.... I know I will like it..... It's more of a DL device as I have been doing MTL for awhile but I sometimes switch between DL and MTL..... That is one tank that is known for NOT LEAKING and so I just imagine that I will enjoy that aspect of it because leaking tanks are one of my worst pet peeves when it concerns vaping.
Good tank for me too,not everyone feels that way.
I do have lots of extra glass from FT,they seem to break in groups at a time.

I'm still undecided about what mod to get. I don't want to spend all of my recovered money so I'm between 3 choices... Vsticking (110 bucks here), Puma (75 bucks) and the 1 battery version of the Puma (60 bucks). I'll eventually need two mods, so... I still don't know. Maybe the Vsticking and the small Puma in February, together with the Elevate. And of course, batteries!

Guilty-faced monkey killer!

So dang cute! I’ve had all sorts of dogs and was never breed-centric till Georgia. If I could only have one kind of dog the rest of my life, it would be Frenchie.

That is so adorable! My cat has no guilt – she would just give me that “what are you gonna do about it” look.

Don’t think I am alone in saying us northern folk are envious of your blue skies, palm trees and warm sunny beaches. Environment Canada has just issued an Extreme F***en Cold warning!

Good to hear you sorted out your wicking issues. :thumb:

Yeah must just be defects in the glass or something..... I have never had any problems with my other tanks in the past during the cold....

Spoken like a true shinyitist. :pervy:

One thing about the gear I buy... it teaches you patience...
And it’s a beautiful thing. You have quite the taste, much like dom and Tralfaz. I also understand the appeal of small modders as opposed to mass produced.

It’s not always sunny! But it doesn’t nearly get as cold either :( I hope you’re all okay! My friend told me it was like -30C in Toronto or something :(

So what was it? I was still waiting on the answer in your other thread.

Hi Scott! So, for my drop ins... I did what you said and I had probably a good 3 days without issues and then it got burnt. And about my RTA... the guy where I bought the tank didn’t show me how to wick properly. I went to another shop and the guy showed me his way to do it, starting with how to take the cotton and everything. He wicked my tank last Saturday and I haven’t had to do it again since! He also explained to me that for my tank and for how it’s wicked I’m better off vaping at 70w or a bit more. Here everybody told me to lower the wattage (I was vaping at 40 or 50 watts) and that’s what caused premature burning and awful spit back. I low key fell in love with that guy lol

glad you got it sorted. bumping up the wattage is always the first thing i try if i've got spit back. if the liquid isn't vaporizing it has only one way to go...up.

I wish people would’ve told me that! I feel like most people on this forum are against vaping at higher wattage. Everybody recommended lowering the wattage and nobody recommended this when I mentioned spit back. Even my 40 watts looked offensive to some and I felt like I should’ve been vaping at even lower than that.

what works for someone else isn't sure to work for you. nothing, at all, wrong with asking for advice though. shop around for that just like hardware.

Yeah of course! The problem here though is that I feel my problem was more than personal preference. I would’ve kept having spit back issues and burning my cotton within a day if I kept following the idea of vaping at lower wattage

Congrats! It’s been quite the ride, huh? Most vapers go through this process to learn to get their gear to work as it should. Glad it’s working well now.

    I wish! I’m actually only 5’2.
The Peruvians nor the Japanese are famous for their height. I felt like a giant when I was down there and here I’m ‘just’ 6’. :D

I am not catching up oh my so much to do.

I was gonna do yoga, but now I am not. This is because I had the pleasure of encountering a kid that really…. Sometimes I think we need long term hospitals BACK. The doc came to warn me then day before and then suggested we "go in" together. I was hearing wild and unwieldy screams for like 15 minutes. I was curious.

I got punched about 7 times and kicked 3. Other staff have gotten bitten before, like drawn blood kind of thing. I actually have BRUISES. LOL. It took everything I had to not, um restrain that kid to the floor and bend him to my will but it's a PCP office, so you really can't. I had to wait for the mom to do it and she wasn't very good at it.

The sweet thing was, she brought him in to get his "left testicle examined, it is swollen." I was like, "We can't do that in this setting, I'm sorry. You need to take him to the hospital where he could get sedated, restrained, or both.' Sadly he was just out of the psych unit (again) and on scads of Haldol. Sometimes I despair, that kid needs to go in CPS custody and a group home for ever. Etc.

I will say about the testicle, I can't think of a better kid to NOT reproduce, but since I hurt and have bruises I will pack. I hate packing but I need to. Giving myself 15 minutes leeway here.

I almost broke out my cylon then I lost a grub screw, story of my life. Sigh.

I did not file worker's comp claim a) it would have been embarrassing and b) they are just bruises. Etc.

    Anna
