We're definitely third world. The economics here are fuzzy and although president Macri has a "recipe" for world integration, it's simply not working. We don't have a huge home market and depend heavily on exports of basic stuff (grains, produce and cattle) to consolidate the economy. Yet, it's failing.
As for electricity, it's the future for me. Electric cars in crowded cities for short trips are a win win solution. Cost is the main issue. I've been an early adopter of several new tech (including vaping) all my life and I'm a little frustrated here. And with a shaky economy and no longer having family bonds (although husband is more keen to Spain, being a spanish natural, and I'm really Italian, born there) we're thinking about moving somewhere with a less shaky economy. Governments in the past 20 years can't put their fingers on what's needed for growth. And that's a big issue for everyone.
Well CA is fun, beautiful and exciting but they seem to have their hands in your pockets every time you turn around. There is a huge homeless problem and they never seem to figure it out no matter how many tax dollars get thrown that way. Of course buying an electric car is the only way to go as they have just added more tax to gas. Overcrowding is also a thing. Maybe it will not bother you. It does me because it will take you 60 minutes to get to the beach from West Hollywood even though it is only 20ish miles away.

Happy Sunday to all you shiny folks!

I have a dear story in Miami.

We don't have deer there unless you drive an hour West into the Everglades. So one must replace the deer in this story with a cat.

I was 17 years old and I had a 1967 Camaro. It wasn't the nice one due to the straight 6 motor and the ability to go 0 to 60 in twenty miles. During this time teenage clubs were a big deal and my best friend DJ, who's father was one of the infamous Miami River cops, would hit the clubs every Friday night.

DJ obviously had a lot more money than me, so his club attire always involved the finest silks cut in the latest Miami Vice style. I admit, I was jealous.

Well this one particular night we were coming home about 1 am in the morning. As I am coming down a residential street a cat jumps out in front of the car and I just barely clipped him. I could see him lying beside the road in my rear view mirror, so I stopped and made DJ get out and get him. When he got back in the car the cat was clearly unconscious. I assumed I was going to take him home and nurse him back to health. The cat obviously didn't want any part of that.

He woke up suddenly and proceeded to attack DJ in the front passenger seat. As DJ looked like he was getting the upper hand in the battle the cat decided to pull out a secret weapon. He unleashed everything in his bowels and DJ was covered from head to toe in a matter of seconds. That white silk blazer soaked every bit of it up while my rayon remained spotless.

To this day it's still a sore spot for DJ, and of course, after a few beers I love to relive that night like it happened yesterday.

Fun times.

It always seems in LA that no matter where you are and where you're going it always takes 60 minutes.

We have quite a few California "refugees" these days. LOL they love the cost of living but hate the school system, so it appears. A lot of them are "unexpectedly" home schooling (unless they are old).

LOL one lady I talked to was like, 'Oh, I love California, I miss California but it seems like you can't survive out there unless you work three jobs, have 15 room mates, and several home businesses you tend to during the time you should spend sleeping."

It seemed fairly apt.

If only they would have actually seceded the many times they "threatened" to.. We could have illegal CA Aliens, etc.

Good day all,

Little under the weather today – didn’t help that my furry 4 legged alarm clock decided to go off a good 3 hours early. Little terror knocked a tissue box off the bathroom counter and beat 6 shades of $h!t out of it! She’s now sound a sleep dreaming of bacon wrapped fried chicken (her whiskers are twitching!).

Living in downtown Toronto I have everything I need within a 5 minute walk. Grocery, drug store (of various kinds), few vape shops, liquor store, many pubs, café’s and restaurants, the liquor store, music shops and the liquor store. Did I mention the liquor store?? Driving in the city is useless at best and the price of parking is outrageous so rarely drive. It’s cheaper to take a cab, public transit or Uber.

Hope you are feeling better soon! Afraid my George is going to be more like your Zelda than the rest of my blessedly laid back crowd.

Hope you feel better! And Zelda sounds like a hoot. You have more things within a walking distance than I do, I live in NJ.

I’m going to have to get over my mule-headed idea that I can’t survive without outside space, and get in on some of that walk-anywhere city life, I guess. It sounds sublime how you describe it.

I love to watch shows about buying houses, and I always love how people are walking to every dang shop and restaurant you can imagine. And then they show their 4’ square balcony and call it outside space and I’m like, we’ll thats a deal breaker lol. I have 1/4 acre and the people are too close.

    Morning shinies :)

I’m gonna say this, and you can believe it or don’t, but my rtas last a lot longer between maintenance on my Colossals than any other mod I have. I still haven’t needed to swap the cotton on my gear. Still vaping all the way, flavor is as good as day 2. Three weeks. One week with the berserker with commercial juice. One week is more than I normally get with diy.

I’m running them in tcr on normal.

Agree completely, though it's the first mod I've used in TCR. It's a bonus along with the extra battery life :thumb:

I love those home buying shows too. I always get a kick out of, "I sell candles online and my wife is a stay at home mom. Our budget is $500,000."

So do you lady’s think the Colassal gives you better battery life compared to other single 18650 mods. I love my Minikins because their battery life is great.

I have a Gear RTA and a Cthulhu Tube Mod inbound (Tuesday) along with a pair of VTC5a's & 18350's.

Only to find out that they used sub par mosfets and a weak 510 leaf spring on the board... Cthulhu Mod are redoing the board though and will be shipping out replacements. I guess kudos to them for that. :glare:

Just need to keep the build around 0.5 ohm for now in 18350 mode. Don't know if I can find a build that I could vape at 35W. :D

I make bracelets out of dandelions and sell them to hippies in the summer. My budget is 2.6 million.

They’re always so young, too. You know their parents are paying for the house just to get their spoiled butts out of their basements.

Love visiting California but I don't think I could live there. More a fan of NorCal myself. It's so beautiful up there. San Francisco, the ocean cliffs, the redwoods... I think I need to take a trip.

SF can make LA look like a bargain. It is awfully pretty though.

I def do. Along with the Miniken. At first I thought I was imagining it, or just not vaping as much or something but then someone else mentioned it to

Another city that has a horrible homeless problem. All over the street and on every corner. It is getting really bad there and makes LA's problem seem minor
