SF can make LA look like a bargain. It is awfully pretty though.
SF can be done on a budget. I always stay at Inn on Broadway. Not the fanciest but $100 a night and free parking. Food is reasonable if you eat at local places and not tourist areas. The last trip I took there is what made me give up cigarettes again. I brought a Pico with me and wasn't using it much at the time. I ran out of smokes and went to buy more and there was no way I would pay that price.

So, me being me, I had to Zillow San Francisco. I was kind of prepared for the million dollar and up range, but the taxes, insurance and HOAs are nuts. Lots of beautiful homes though.
yeah, you buy the lifestyle in San Fran.

Another city that has a horrible homeless problem. All over the street and on every corner. It is getting really bad there and makes LA's problem seem minor

It's been that way for decades in SF. It may very well be worse now as anyone on the margins can fall into the homeless catagory quite easily.

A recent survey found that 2/3 of the population did not have a 3 month reserve of liquid assets in case of emergency. Almost half the population would have difficulty if they missed two paychecks. Just look at the federal workers during the shutdown. Within a month it was difficult to impossible to make their mortgage or car payments. Among the "independent contractors" who get jo benefits, and also didn't get back pay for work missed had to turn to food stamps to feed themselves and their families. And the are not contractors like consultants, these were office cleaners barely getting minimum wage.

Visiting and living are different. You can find affordable motels, AirBNB, and all, but good luck renting (never mind buying) an apartment there. And I know the pain of the cost of a pack of cigarettes. Still not as bad as NYC, but not far behind. Besides, vape juice flavorings were banned by the city. No idea how that's working out, and enough to dampen any thought of moving someplace like that and pay those high taxes with that attitude.

So do you lady’s think the Colassal gives you better battery life compared to other single 18650 mods. I love my Minikins because their battery life is great

Yep, definitely a difference. And it has barely left my hand since I got it ;)

I have a couple of other setups with different flavours, but I use the colossal 90% of the time. I just need to get some more colossii ;)

Oh yeah, there is no way I would ever live there. I saw a Jr 1 bedroom apartment for rent for $2800 a month. I don't see how people do it.

I have been trying to wrap coils with the .8mm ribbpn wire. I am having trouble with it wanting to unwrap. I used a lighter on it and that seemed to help a little but it was still quite springy and wanted to unwrap. I got 1 coil installed and it kept getting a hot spot on the last wrap and leg that I wasn't able to get rid of. Ot's the first time I have tried it and could use some advice.

I'm headed to bed but will tell you what I typically do and circle back tomorrow.

I wrap 6 times on a 3mm. Wrap as tight contact as I can, stopping at like 5.5. (May need to experiment there). Then spread the coil out to like 1 or 2 mm between wraps. I then squeeze it back together and pull tight to the 6 wrap. Typically it ends up fairly evenly spaced coil.
I also install close to the post and tighten down then pull away with the rod so that it pulls the coil tighter on the rod.
I dont heat or anything and usually once I pulse the coil there arent any issues.
    Oh and I am using ss .8 x. 3.

Hope that sorta makes sense and could help.

Not exactly shiny ... but I'm feeling shiny about it:
    bellaValente.jpg

It seems my brother actually had a couple sealed bottles of Halo Bella Valente in a box at the back of a closet. He dropped them off for me today. Best before July 2013.

A quick dripper tests says the flavor is still there, somewhat on the harsher side -- not unexpected since a) it is 18mg while I use 10mg these days, and b) oxidized, and c) I used to dilute it with unflavored.

We shall see what some dilution and perhaps some EM do to tame it out and bring back the good old days ... I mean, what's the worst that can happen?

We have geothermal heat/air, and solar for power. When the ac is running (all but about 45-60 days a year) we have endless hot water (a true blessing when we had 3 teenage girls). I’m sure geothermal’s come a ways since we built in ‘02. Solar with excess buy back has been a huge saving.
Geothermal is not known here. Some people are adopting solar water heaters but when there's no sun you have to heat it through electricity. I wholeheartedly agree, but no such chance here!

I'm liking the looks of this.

Of course, I really don't need another tank but that's never stopped me before.

I like that. I only wish it were single coil. I'm still using my single coil Zeus. Works like a charm!

Well CA is fun, beautiful and exciting but they seem to have their hands in your pockets every time you turn around. There is a huge homeless problem and they never seem to figure it out no matter how many tax dollars get thrown that way. Of course buying an electric car is the only way to go as they have just added more tax to gas. Overcrowding is also a thing. Maybe it will not bother you. It does me because it will take you 60 minutes to get to the beach from West Hollywood even though it is only 20ish miles away.
The house has a pool. I'm quite homey, the one gripe about the US nowadays is internet shopping. The supermarket here will deliver everything (including fresh meats and veggies) next day anywhere in Argentina, while Walmart doesn't deliver everything... jaja I don't know, growing on me!

Postmates and Walmart have a delivery contract. You can get just about anything delivered through Postmates.

Not around here. They just started Pick Up, you buy the stuff online and they’ll bring it out to your car. That would help some I guess. Haven’t tried it.

One of my vendors sent my wife and me to SF last May for five days at the Fairmont. It was great. The other day I got a 1099 and that part of the trip was $8,000!
