I just have the legal end in mind. Gottlieb recently said he believed pods should be taken off the market if teen use continues to rise, by the end of this year.

Now, he's leaving, but who knows what his replacement will be like, or whether such suggestions will be followed.

It's one thing to like something as my husband enjoys pods, but it's another to be prepared for the 'if it's not available'.

I just prefer my husband to have ample choice if they do remove pods from the market.

I had him on a provari with a siren 2, was building his coils, charging his batteries and filling his tank, but there is some reason he prefers a pod device over that.. he claims size and ease, but with ease he never did anything to begin with.. So I'm confused and just want to have choice available.
That’s why I was thinking of the z-biip, or something similar where you can just change the coil not the whole pod. I think it’s the pre-filled pods that will get the axe (aka juul etc). I have a nautilus aio pod that I’ve used for quite a while, just changing the coil as needed. I’m still on the first “tank”, but it’s getting wonky about staying in. I get 2-3 weeks out of a coil on the zenith tank, and coils are cheap. Innokin is very invested in them, so even if the z-biip gets axed, the coils will fit in 3 other Innokin tanks. The Flint is small and simple, but I worry about how long coils will be available when Geekvape moves on to something new. I do love the Flint, but flavor, price and perceived longevity of availability made me go with zenith coils for the stash. But, that’s just my :2c:.

I think what's good about the flint is that if they do stop making coils for it at some point we can just throw an RTA on it.. something that can't be done with an aio-type device.

But yeah, innokin will probably make coils for a long time, they are shooting for making coils compatible with varying devices..

pre filled pods are too pricey, I use a refillable for him now..

For the Flint, any 22mm tank with a coil over.8 should work.

You could put a nautilus mini on the Flint... it’s 22 I think??? Someone will correct me. I haven’t had one in eons, but I do have the metal cage and I think extra glass tanks for it. I wish the Flint would take a build under 1, but I understand it’s for battery life.

I know the Nauti X works on it. Looks good too.

The nautilus mini is 18mm and the 2s is 23mm..

the 2s would work with just a slight overhang..so of the two it would probably look best..

but there is a lot of 22mm tanks out there. it's a common size these days, even the zenith comes in a 22mm TPD size...

I’ll have to try again with a different tank. I had a.9 (tested out on 3 mods) and it wouldn’t fire :(. In looking at reviews I see lowest ohms listed anywhere from 0.5 to 1.0. Geekvape says 0.5 on their site. That points to user error on my side. Now to figure out the snafu...

It may be 1.0 or higher. The coils it uses are 1.4? I haven't been able to build high enough with the wire I jave. The highest coil I can fit in the Hastur is just under .6.

Experiment run... 0.7 coil in a Fresia will fire on the new flint, but not my first one. Pin looks to be same height inside. I get a flashing red light on the one that won’t fire. Figures it’s the black one. Neon blue (slim tank selection there for rtas) works fine

Okay @Skunk! your right on building this Nixon..it's definitely different, and I think I've messed up this build.. lol

I got the coil on, but I'm having a problem cutting the wires short enough and I'm sure it's because I've got the wire going over instead of under..

grrr.. try again..

Sheesh, a 'delivery attempted' notice ... what a load of crap, there was no attempted delivery. Why don't they a leave a more truthful notice like: we couldn't be bothered bringing it up to your condo for a signature or even buzzing you to come down to sign for it, so we've left this piece of paper telling you where to pick up your package at your inconvenience.

At least my other expected parcel today isn't being delivered by Canada Post ... hopefully they at least attempt a delivery.

Good morning all!

Can’t stay long, I have to do this girls day movie thing with my sister and her friends. Not feeling it, seriously.

My Luna is at the PO and I’d rather just spend some quality time getting to know her.

Mixed up some flavorless salts to try in the mini mi pod. See if the pod lasts longer. I think the first one was maybe messed up, the draw was so much tighter than the second one.

Flavorless tastes kind of tobacco to me, rather like those cheap cigalikes. Not awful, not something I want to use all the time though either.

I spent more time this morning planning which vapes to bring along than I did thinking about what to wear, and more time charging and filling than on hair, makeup, and shower combined.

I’m not in love with the pod but it’ll work for the agenda today. If anyone finds a good deal on the pods, please let me know. I can get them from Element vapes but that place frustrates me.
Tops of my Lunas were pretty loose so I tightened them up a bit with an allen key from one of my attys. Just to where they were snug. You may want to check yours when you set it up.
