I'm still totally puzzled why they never put the USB on the authentics. That lapse alone is enough to make me want to go with the SXK if I ever went for one. The advantage to the dna 60 was the ability to use eScribe. I guess with the small production runs and high price there was no pressure on about the port, but I find it troubling to offer something at that price that fails to provide such a simple and essential feature.
I guess it takes away from the elitism... ;)

I see a 60w and 70w sxk version. 70 is cheaper, but not dna? I doubt I’ll ever use escribe, as I haven’t yet on any other mod. I’m wattage only.
If you never use TC then the 70W is probably okay, it's an SXK chipset and not one of Evolv's DNA line.

The guys have been picking up the clones here and I think they ship out of CA.

This sounds like quite the rabbit hole... so, you buy the borro boxes separate? The atmizoo bridge says: “RBA bridge concept for Billet Box rev4 Boro tank and compatible tank systems”. Would it work with the SXK? I’d already looked at that one on FT
You can buy the Borro's on FT and 3F as well, the one that has a bigger bottom hole is called the A-Tank and takes Atlantis/compatible coils.

Once the borro is installed in the BB you just slide the glass down to fill it, they fill in seconds with no leaks. It's a unique design that works very well.

Just 4 now. The tiny runt and gray calico died. The babies were just too crowded and think the two that died had internal organ problems. So far the other four seem to be thriving and June is looking much healthier. Mother Nature takes care of her own.
Red in tooth and claw. I am sorry. Easier for you and June, though. At least there's that.

I have mixed feelings about the Recurve. It's a good atty with decent flavor and airy enough if you're not focusing on clouds. I just find from a flavor perspective I do better with little flavor bangers like the Venna and KRMA (clones). As leak resistant as the Recurve, as easy to build, and very concentrated flavors. Definitely not for clouds but more than enough to satisfy you if that's not your thing. There are a whole bunch of 22 mm RDAs that work great for squonking.

I'm not knocking the Recurve, I have 2 myself, but I don't think I'd be happy with it as my only or even main squonk choice. That's totally subjective so no rules on that. The Recurve will accept a larger coil like fused Claptons than some of the little attys without crowding the chamber, but the little ones can be amazing even with just a plain simple round coil.

Same opinion.

Recurve is the mass produced readily available starter RSA -- one with really good performance for price. But there's no way i'd ever use it over my KRMA, DayWon, Citadel, Entheon, B2K, or Armor RDA.

Thanks, I'll have to try that. I might just be looking for too much from the KRMA.

I had similar disappointments with my KRMA at first. Then I realized you have to lift the coil up quite a bit AND.... big AND... use custard/dessert type flavours. It's my #1 performing, and by far, dessert RSA but with citrus/fruit/etc juices it's very underwhelming.

Very nice haul! The price makes it even sweeter. I just got one of those Pulse BF with some replacement doors on sale. Nice and light, but the button and lock system seems a little complex for something that should otherwise be simple. Have to make time to break it all down to see what they did in the fire button.

The biggest money pit for the authentic BBs are the accessories, you can get a stock BB from Billet Box Vapor for $265. Keep in mind that the authentic does NOT have a USB port for charging or connecting to eScribe like the SXK clone does.

No kidding. I paid $130 CAD for my SXK billet box. Then I spent over $300 on accessories. I have a $460 clone (once my BB ultem boro arrives).

I'm doing OK with it with a peach juice right now. But there's no doubt some attys just do better with different flavor profiles. It's made me learn to not write a new tank off until I've tried a few different juice types in it. I've been surprised that it matters so much.

Edit peach not pear. Looking for a good pear juice so I'm a little fixated

But aren’t all those mtl? So maybe it’s more a style preference than the atty performance. I do use some mtl, but mostly dl.

Thanks I will keep that in mind down the road. I have B2Ks (5) for days now so all other single coil RSA will take a long vacation.

Albert's Ultem Boro looks awesome, I should have grabbed one but I didn't want to wait longer to get the G10 doors and have it all shipped at once.

The Pulse BF was only $4.99 CAD and I added it to the order to get free shipping. :D It's a great beater squonk that you don't mind if it takes a tumble or slide across the asphalt.

The lock is just a knife switch that you slide over to contact the tab, giving it a little squeeze with the pliers to tighten up the gap reduces some of the voltage drop. The switch is just a simple momentary contact switch that will take 30A. Mooch cut one apart after 20K presses, 15K at 0.17 ohm and 5K at 0.09 ohm to see how well it would hold up.

Looks quite good to me.

Today is my 7 year vape anniversary, and tomorrow is my real birthday. I’m thinking I need a shiny to celebrate... was thinking of looking at Atmizoos other tanks (I love the Creek rda), unless someone has objections or better ideas. Also toying with the idea of a billet box... but that sounds like a bottomless shiny pit. I know zero about BBs. Can it be done for a reasonable cost, and how does that tank thing really work?
Happy birthday and Congratulations!!!

@Eskie I was going to put one of Big Als iSwitch in mine which would make it like the Luxotic but with better specs. The only problem is he used a p-channel FET on the board (smaller size) and it uses the negative to fire instead of the positive.

Makes it harder to adapt it to the Pulse BF as the negative is a wide ground strip from the battery to the 510. You would have to put the battery in backwards and that spring tab would tear wrappers for sure. But you could get rid of the big switch and just use a small tactile button.
Big Al's Intelligent 1s Switch (iSwitch) wo/button

We lost two pups out of Zoey’s litter. My dog and his brother were both 8oz, 2 ozs heavier than the others and 3 more than the runt. The vet said their size probably affected the development of the two we lost. Don’t know if there’s truth to that, or he just said that to make me stop crying.

I’ve never heard of them... no problems with orders? They have them in stock . Trying not to let shiny lust get in the way of common sense.
