The large unergonomic regulated mods are what's put me off squonking til now. The pico squeeze 2 has rounded edges, but the fire button in a funny place.

The absolutely ugly wismec surface is the smallest I've seen, so it's probably what I'll choose. But it's a losing battle when you want an itty bitty mod that squonks AND is comfortable to hold AND has VW.

How about the aether mod?
Stabwood regulated squonker.

Squonking is good, it's somewhat easier than RTA's and more convenient than dripping.

Just most of the mods have awkward ergonomics and fill, and there's nothing worse than getting out of your zen wondering what is annoying you the most. Losing precious liquid or dousing your precious mod in liquid, as they both have their charms.

As you've probably worked out, I think that the Topside is pretty well designed. But could do with a chipset. Not something that looks like one, but smaller.

I love dripping and since I’m not working at the moment it works out great for me. I DIY and normally have up to 20 juices in front of me and like to mix it up throughout the day. So it just works out really well for me.

If I was working out of my home or out for the day then I’d definitely be squonking with one of my Squeeze 2s or the Pumper 18 or using an RTA with a large tank like the Supreme V2 w extension tank.

I really like the looks of the Dovpo (?spelling) it’s a great looking mod and people seem to like it.

I love my single Topside. It is bigger and heavier than the Luna but it still fits nice in my hand. I tried it first in power, then in bypass, and I left it there. I didn’t think I’d use it like that because I’ve never used anything in bypass before.

And I use it as a dripper too - although all the flavors are fairly similar, bakery stuff. I wouldn’t risk something really different getting into the bottle.

I considered getting the dual, but I think it would be too big for me.

Good early afternoon shinies....finally caught up from the last five pages.

I'm a little late today as had to go to Monaco to record an advert for my real estate company....it'll go out on Riviera radio next week...It was fun doing the recording but had to redo it a few times :)

@bombastinator, I'd wait a while to see if Dovpo decides to do a Topside Carbon with a YiHi chipset such as the SX485J. As I do know that you like a decent squonk mod.

Or in the meantime if you want a YiHi chipset mod, those Vsticking VK530's can be sought for under $50. Which isn't bad for a 500 series chipset, as the SL Class mods using the SX485J chipset are over $150.

Here's a link to cheap Vsticking VK530 and they have black versions available.

Just ordered a dual. Started using the rage again to get battery life for my dual rdas. Realized quickly the bottle size and refill bottles on the rage are a PIA. So topside dual will fix that. Still wish it was 21700 but beggars cant be choosers lol.

I have a lot of dual battery mods, but I find myself using the singles most of the time. I would say, it’s because I’m home, rotate 3-4, and the batteries last me plenty like that plus it’s not a big deal if they don’t. But the truth is, I’d rather not lug the bigger ones with me when I go out.

My shoulders are bad and I consider how much weight I need to carry. (I can probably load 50lbs in my handbag but it’s not a good idea)

I will say, I do love filling the Topside. Very convenient.

Good morning shiners! Happy Monday!

An autosquonk Yihi? Come on, enough. I can't keep getting squonkers. Hopefully the autosquonk part will be really bad so I won't be tempted.

Folks seem to say the dual Topside looks bulky but turns out to feel natural in the hand. I'm waiting for more info on the Carbon before deciding.

I do like my single, and at the wattage I usually vape a 21700 40T offers me excellent runtime and I'm not all that sure a dual 18650 will offer a huge benefit other than playing with really high wattage.

Anna, I don't fear roaches. If they were willing to pay their share of the rent I'd leave them be. But they don't, so they die. Nuff said. ;)

I went to look I think it’s a preorder. I asked to be notified. I have 3 but wouldn’t mind a 4th @that price.

No, I'm afraid it was in stock (loads actually) but I put the link up here and one in the UK and they literally flew out before my eyes. They where dropping in numbers of ten every time I updated.
Hopefully they will secure some more. Will shout if they do.

I really liked the aleader killer for a little vw squonker. I've had three that are as good as gold.
I still love the inbox though. My favourite.

Morning shiners, nothing coming here today other than a few flakes of snow (sigh) on this cool and dreary morning ...

I’ve already got more DNA squonkers than I want though. The only reason I haven’t sold one is one of them is broken and proving to be a pain to repair. I got the buttons replaced, but now these tiny tiny #4 torx plastic screws aren’t holding. I’ve got to either put in fillets and change the screw type or bodge repair the plastic screw holes. Thing should have had metal inserts for the screws.

Getting one would entail replacing either my aegis 100 or my legend.

One thing I haven’t done is build a mod yet. I’ve hacked a couple, but I haven’t built any. Maybe what I want to do is build a custom yihi.

I would buy that one if it came in one subtle color. I love my Luxotic but it's unregulated/protected. I have yet to own a regulated squonker.
You do not want to get a regulated squonker if you are happy with your mech/semimech ones now. The regulated will spoil you hard with the ability to put any build you want into an RSA and enjoy it. No more futzing around with coil resistance, 35A cells and the other PiTA aspects that come with unreglated devices. ;)

You have been warned!

If you decide to get one, get a dual cell as they are much more versatile than a single.

It's an idea @bombastinator. At least if you put something together and sensibly, it can always be repaired or upgraded.

First thing to look at is lipo or li ion, and then chipset and work around the components. Maybe even get a few small pieces fabricated by local Engineering and or sheet metal companies.

Seriously considering this myself, but it's just some thing need the proper equipment to be done. Can only do so much with an electric hand drill, a hacksaw, a file and sandpaper.
