Thanks. I did see a favourable YT review. I guess for the price I might as well try it and I prefer the looks and capacity to the Project X. I can see why a clone of The End would be very desirable to you considering the authentic is 275 Euros. Absolutely silly money, is it diamond plated or something!

A weak finish is hard to overlook on most mods, which is why I typically go to silver or anodized finishes.

BUT
If the mod performs great and fits your hand just right, it can still be worth it. For some, putting on a skin immediately is a good work around. Many ProVari owners show off their battle scarred painted baby with pride. My favorite non-ProVari is the Wismec RX75, with doors made out of painted base metal and an anodized aluminum body. Those doors start losing paint in normal use pretty quickly, so I finally sanded them down to base metal and left them to turn gray. Kind of an industrial mech look.

When it comes to mods, "It's got a great personality and is fun to be with" might mean not too cute but lovable!

I do like things that hold up to use, functionally as well as aesthetically, and I do try to care for my stuff. But showing a bit of wear over time kind of gives them personality, I like to call it rustic charm.

I ended up with the Provari Mini Satin Silver with the blue LED. I also usually vape in the 30 watts range & DL. From what I understand the P3’s can go up to 20 watts & the Mini are like the 2.5’s up to equivalent of 15 watts. It displays in voltage not watts. The Mini is suppose to have the exact same chip as the 2.5’s it’s just shorter. And can only use 18350 & 18490.

Which atty did you use with your P3?

I’ve got a few attys to choose from but right now I have a NarDa clone on it. I’ve got a handful of small single coil attys that will be perfect for it like a NarDa, NarCar, Hadaly, enthroned. I think all of those might work on it.
And have a Ammit I bought for some reason several months ago so now I’ve got something to use it with. I also bought a Beserker 1.5 and Siren for RTAs.

Really appreciate that video Charlie. I tend to trust Mark Todd's opinion most of the time. Besides at $98 base price and even with a sizeable MAP discount I would never pay that for a mod which is going to peel on me or I have to waste time resealing. I'm going for the Hussar clone and a couple of other RTA's that interest me instead. Just got wait till Monday for the discount code to work.

Well the lawn is done and I've been chilling in the garden vaping some Magical Red Crack in the Tilemahos.

Toying with the idea of getting a Squid Industries Double Barrel V3 from Fasttech. I'm just wondering guys, how well does the paint job hold up on it? I can't stand paint peeling or chipping on mods.

Also does anyone have this clone of the Hussar?

Been thinking about it for ages but don't see it outclassing my other tanks for flavour. But it's the unknown factor which bugs me wondering what it vapes like.

I’ve found the finish to be quite durable. I’m not hard on mods, but I am a tad clumsy . My first DB has a bit of road rash, but no peeling etc as an aftermath. I have (older) 2 black, 2 champagne, and (new) a blue DB3. I’m pretty sure it’s a baked on finish.

It's a part of the forum societal rules that red x's not be used unless you're in the midst of a personal trolling war. I give lots of red x's mostly because it's really close to other icons I really meant to give but it's all too damn close on my phone to hit the correct response correctly. I usually catch it and after 5 or 6 retrys I usually get it fixed.
