Good morning shiny fans.

Well I got my reply from fasttech, allegedly it failed at the customs security check which is weird considering I had no batteries or mods. From that point it went walkabout around China for over 2 weeks. No mention of that last part, just my interpretation. No apology either, just "Do you want resend or refund?" I want what I ordered so went with resend.

This is the kind of story that makes me quail. I hope everything plays nicely with me for a good long while. If something like that happens to me early on, I'll panic.

I went right from the berserker to the Fancier. Still the fussiest rta I’ve ever tried to build. They taught me a lot though, like how important the amount of cotton is, and how big the is of the coil should be to get the correct amount of cotton.

It’s trial and error with every atty and I still make stupid mistakes like putting the wrong juice in them. I use a few different pg/vg ratios and let me tell ya, you do not use less than max vg in a Fancier lol no matter how you coil and wick it.

You’ll do fine though. I’d say this, don’t put them on your best mod until you trust them. I’ve never had juice leaks ruin a mod, but it is pretty unsettling.

Right I just hit the switch on my Fasttech order. I'm GMT + 1. I managed to get a 280 euro basket down to 220 which is great. The code fasttech didn't work but the code CHERISH did..

I'm pretty pleased as i've got a Rave mini in Ultem on the way and I love that thing.

In other news I had an email(Ticket) from FT telling me that a beauty ring/drip tip and separate drip tip are discontinued so i've said I don't mind the certificate as opposed to the refund. I have been waiting for 4 things for a while particularly replacement pods for the Finic Fish which I ordered late March, it just keeps adding days to availability...I can feel another split shipment coming on.

They also told me it was better to order, only things which say ''ships tomorrow'' but from my point of view I would have missed out on the legend DNA 75 had I done that. That said ships in 5 days and sure enough it was ready to ship when the five days was up. After all you can always get a refund....I'm happy today

@stols001 How are things with your dog hunt has he turned up yet?? I think he will soon any way...have you put the posters up at the traffic lights

Well I think I was quite restrained and only spent £50 on FT. Code Cherish worked fine. My recent hassle hasn't put me off my shiny addiction so I decided on three more RTA's. Was so tempted by the 1928 Cthulhu RDA but I have loads of drippers and there was a bit mentioned in the discussions about poor positive pin and naff o-rings.

In hindsight yes. But they weren't offering the refund anyway until the parcel gets back to Fasttech which might be well past the sale period at the rate they're going.

Thanks! I’m not vegetarian but I do meatless meals as often as I can. My daughter gave me a Thug Kitchen cookbook for Christmas, and there’s some interesting stuff in it. Hard for me to source some of those ingredients though.

FT order placed. Got a 22mm Dvarw mtl to use with Provari Mini & a Ehpro Pro Mod 101 mod. Always wanted one but was waiting for it to come to USA stores, never did.

Unfortunately I’m going to have to go through all my frozen nic to smell it to see if it oxidized while waiting for the freezer (bottles I bought when I first joined and foolishly didn’t freeze all
of it and just kept it in a dark space). But freezer space is at a premium in my house, I don’t want bad nic taking up space! I really need a third freezer

I think it is fine.
I bought and bottled 2 liters and stuck them in the freezer in 2017. I then traveled to CA to live for awhile sending the nic in ice chest with no ice on a POD. (It was wrapped in foil) the POD got stopped at the AZ/CA border because they spied an ant on the truck (I know like CA does not have any ants) and then got sent to bake in the Las Vegas sun for 3-4 days. This was in July. The POD eventually came to me and the nic was fine and clear as the day it was bought. I am still using it and have since traipsed back across the country with it on a moving trailer. (It did not get stuck in Las Vegas this time as leaving CA and entering AZ they do not scope for ants.
