After they were gone we realized we should have videoed it !
And they just vanished - don't even know where they went !!!

Googled a video where it's happened here before in 2009
Actually looks like the community I live in - tho I don't recall hearing about it

    That is so amazing

I guess we know where the expression 'it's raining cats and dogs' came from ;)

Today its -3°C ;) or 26°F - perfect day to be sick in bed. And even better, vaping isn't hurting my throat as much :D
    Agreed.
Think I spoke too soon as temp has dropped 23° in just a few short hours.
It's now 52°F which I enjoy immensely. NolaMel told me some folks in her area wear winter coats and furs when it gets in the 50's ... total wimps. 50's is still t-shirt weather.
Nice and cool - best part no need for air. :D And my windows are wide open.

Barging in again! No one except this group understands why I’m so happy today. I was pleasantly surprised at the mailbox this afternoon to receive a FT order I’d completely forgotten about! Must’ve been a bunch of items not in stock that took a long time to ship out. I got the SKX 2k18 doggystyle RTA (never tried it, it’s a totally new tank for me), a bunch of Atopack coils for the hub, some drip tips, replacement glasses and more plastic atomizer storage boxes. I’m super excited to have a new tank to play with!
Anyone here use this tank have a favorite build to share? I’ve been relying on drop in coils lately. I can count on 2 hands how many times I’ve built a coil in the last year so I’m a little rusty. Also, if there are any intricacies or tricks to this tank, I’d greatly appreciate it. I know I’m not a regular on this thread but would love to hear from someone who has used this tank.
I admit this was an impulse purchase and I did absolutely no research into it :D but for $11.90, it’s minimal risk for me. Even if I hate the tank the fun I’ll have building, the thrill of surprise vape mail today alone is worth the price:lol:
Thanks all, hope your day is a happy one!:)

    2k18 doggystyle RTA:

A doggy trick we have all been using: to get the deck off the tank, stick a small screwdriver end into the airflow hole, and use that to twist the deck. The airflow ring can be quite loose on some RTAs, so this saves you having to take off the airflow ring, just to unscrew the deck.

I've had no leaking. The juice flow control works by using the drip tip to twist the chamber. Seems to work well. I top filled and had no gurgling whatsoever. Just close the jfc before filling, fill, push the top cap down lightly - turn the tank upside down, push in the top-cap all the way. Then flip it back up, open up the JFC, and open up the airflow hole. (This was the recommended way of filling on the animodz site)

Coiling: You can do bigger coils in this version of the doggy. My stock coil though is ss216l 2.5mm id, slightly spaced with 5 or 6 full wraps. I place the coil about 1mm above the airflow hole.

Wicking: I cut the cotton in line with the deck, stuff it in, and position the tails as in the pic below:

Here's the deck wicked and ready to go:

I was just going to ask how I can unscrew it from the bottom and here you’ve already answered it (probably doesn’t help that I have lotion on my hands!). Thanks a mil, I appreciate that!:thumb:

Nah. This is the email I actually sent. Because I read HEAD DOC'S and it was SO pukey I got mad. The husband helped. This is the best "F you and I can still remain professional email" I have ever created. To be fair the husband helped. He has done A LOT of contract work.

Dr. Head Doc and Evil Doc:

I was able to read your emails today. Thank you for your insights on provider conflict.

My mistake, Dr. Evil, started early on. I was told to sign a contract for Douglas prior to meeting the team as promised. I also received a great deal of negative feedback about you and your willingness to collaborate with IBH providers. My desire to make the position work led to a lack of firmness on my part that you would interact with myself and patients in an appropriate fashion. Instead of holding you to the same standards as other providers, I allowed to you to demand exemptions and to speak and interact with me inappropriately. I should have let you know those actions were unacceptable. I should have been more firm from the start. My goal is to do exactly that moving forward. Should you shout at me or make unreasonable demands, I will halt the interaction, leave, and decide whether I am able to discuss a resolution. If not, I will report events to our supervisors and HR. Should I be concerned about an IBH request you make, I will discuss it with you and an administrator on the spot. I understand my role at the PCE is not yet fully defined and we are still working through some issues.

However, my actions may have helped you believe you were entitled to special treatment or privileges. That was my mistake, and I should not have made it. I will not be making that error moving forward.

I feel the cycle enabled you to act out more frequently, rather than to focus on our mutual clients and their needs. It became a situation where you acted out in ways any other provider would be fired for. While I don’t apologize for your harassment, I do apologize for allowing it to continue. I will also not be enabling it from now on.

While I would like us to have an excellent working relationship, I also need you to know I will not tolerate any tantrums or threats, as it harms all of us at the PCE-- coworkers and patients.

Moving forward, it seems fair to have the schedulers place me with a similar number of patients daily as other providers. I will do my best to review your schedule in the morning and identify any other patients, as I do with other providers. I will discuss them with you.

While I am extremely reluctant to enter your work area because of past events, I do have to accept the olive branch you are extending as far as your acknowledgement that seeing IBH patients in-room is how IBH is designed to function. To refuse would be unfair—to patients, the other providers, and myself. I would like IBH to work smoothly and as it should.

Prior to doing so, I am willing to meet for lunch in the conference room. As I am on a partial schedule and recovering from an exacerbation of my medical condition caused by past events, I wish to wait to see your until I am working a full schedule and Dr. Head Douche returns to review our thoughts and make suggestions. I need to regain my strength and well-being first. I also want to note my goal will be fairness to you as a provider, and a mutual discussion of when IBH services fit best in both of our days due to your high patient volume.

Over lunch we can discuss making IBH work. I would be interested in learning more about you as a person and provider. I will say the day, I spent shadowing you was very helpful. Not only did I learn a lot from you, you also gave me a web-based resource which was very beneficial. That is the Dr. Rice I would like to continue getting to know.

I do see your work pace is high. When I worked for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe I had over 70 therapy patients and I understand the need for efficiency. My hope is we will collaborate effectively to reduce mutual concerns.

I believe you will come to know me as an IBH provider who treats you the same way as any other medical provider or coworker. I am sure as we come to realize that we have a mutual goal of service, our respect for each other will grow.

    Sincerely,

Anna hates you both but very professionally.

I guarantee Head Doc will not be expecting that out of ME. He will be surprised.

The AFC has both a slit and a three hole section. You can dial it way down if you like. I wouldn't call it MTL but you can restrict it pretty far.
Thanks I was also hoping it would work well for single coil. But @Opinionated is right what do I have to lose for $23.50? Ordered in black. Thank you again for posting the sale :)

A couple Christmases ago it was 81, last year mid 70’s. People here are used to hot and humid with no seasons ( I truly miss Spring and Fall). I get a kick out of the locals when it hits the low 50’s... they indeed break out the furs and parkas . I have to wonder if they would freeze in their tracks in a WI January!!!

Good morning Shinys! I just ordered another Axial and Unicorn RDA. They are having a 50% off hardware with code DAD50

AR eLiquid Co | The Best Cheap Vape Juice

Ive been using the Axial for a week and the flavor is DELICIOUS! The airflow wide open is definitely DL but closing the airflow down and it’s a tight RDL.

This is the Axial on a Minikin V2

Looks great! Love your driptip! Are you using it in single or dual coil?

I’ve got dual coils in there. It’s pretty straight forward for coil placement and wicking. I watched a couple of YouTube videos first though as usual to get the lowdown’s on what works best.

Can't remember if I posted this or not. The dog Daphne and the foster cat Clementine are now besties. It is a good things because it always helps with rehoming if they can be called "dog friendly"
