It’s a type of wire. I tried it some time ago. Really nice for about 2 days. Gets funky pretty quickly. I still have a bit somewhere.

I bought a spool of vertabraid from AVS but I’ve only used it a couple of times. Way too long ramp up time and a lot of split back for me. Would love to know your thoughts on the tri-braid when you get it.

Think about it this way. If you hadn't come here you might have got a smok. And another one couple of weeks later, and a couple of weeks after that. After a few months you would have spent a bunch of money and still had one smok that still sort of worked.

Tri-braid $6.99 15ft : Spooled Tri-braid 316L SS (26gx3, 28gx3, or 30gx3)
If you look on that page he has suggested build info with resistance approximations. 26x3 or 28x3 would likely last for some time.

I don't know if you saw the page where AVS offers up info on proper dry firing for ss316L and getting long life from your coils. Good stuff. Stainless Steel Coil & Wire Instructions and Tips
