I got the Expromizer apart. Scalding hot water, screwdriver handle, silicone pads, and two pairs of pliers were required to separate the top and bottom bits from the tank, and then again--minus the water--to remove the chimney from the deck. After an Everclear bath and a drying session, much VG will be applied. Building is on hold till my irritation subsides.

Anyone have anything to say about the Dram II? I noticed it on 2fdeal when I was looking at the Ulton Tripod, and I thought it looked promising.

I’m still not feeling well, really bad vertigo since yesterday morning. I didn’t sleep much.

Hasn’t stopped my shopping. I just checked... 7 mods since last night. Yikes.

I still could use a couple single coil atties for the stash.
I too hope you are feeling better. :)

Crikey Delores Rose 7 mods since last night :)

This was recommended by @Eskie and it's turned into one of my favourite single coil atties...

https://www.fasttech.com/p/9658642

It's slightly restricted direct lung but I find it fine although i'm normally a loose DL.

Hope you start to feel better soon
The Venna is one of my favorites. I may grab another. Great flavor and excellent on a squonker. I honestly can't see how anyone could over-squonk with it. The design is squonk resistant. I'm certain someone could, on purpose, but it would be pretty difficult otherwise.

Charlie, it was because of you, and what you had to say about it, that led me to buying one. Thank you.
And also thank you to @Eskie for the initial recommendation to Charlie.
ECF rocks!!! Awesome!!!

Got the Cthulhu working, had to remove the chip and bend the leaf spring up, it had lost contact.
I haven't read any posts after this one yet so if someone already addressed it, sorry.

Under the leaf spring should have been a small rubber silicone piece. Did yours have it?

If not you may want to return it because that MOSFET is likely a v1 which did not have it and was not coated. Being uncoated could, and did, cause an autofire situation. The problem was quickly addressed by Cthulhu leading to the v2 MOSFET with the piece of silicone under the tab/leaf spring and the chip is now coated.

Also did you grab any spare MOSFET's and a fire button?
Cthulhu sells both.

Another issue with those is if you have an atty with a longer than normal 510 you can crack the MOSFET board. FT sells spacers to bring the height up to the normal range.

Finally got around to ordering the Dovpo VEE VV, found them for 26.00+5.00(ship). Think I'll like this one, if so I'll grab a couple more. PWM mods are repairable if needed and are easily converted to a mech if need be.
Where did you find them?
Thank you.

Glad the Venna is working out for all. It's probably my single favorite atty right now. I've never gotten it to leak, building is dead simple, and it's just slightly restricted enough to match my preference. I would recommend the black plastic or whatever it's made from cap to spare you the burnt lip syndrome.

The FLVR clone is also an excellent performer and very leak resistant as well. Drawback for me is the grub screws are set so close to the edge it's almost impossible to trim the leads flush enough to not touch the cap. My solution was to leave them a little long and then bend them back around into the coil slot. Plenty of room to do that and it does the trick. Also the clone's o rings are real crappy and benefit from replacement which I still haven't gotten around to. So definitely a second to the Venna, but another option to be aware of.

@YorkMan and anyone who has or is thinking of grabbing one of the Cthulhu mods please read my previous post:

IMO opinion it is not worth plopping a dab of silicone under the leaf spring/tab if your MOSFET is v1. That would only address one problem leaving the autofire issue unresolved. Probably better to return any v1's and get v2 MOSFET's which both issues were resolved (silicone dab + coated MOSFET).

Toes are several shades of purple and red but with the swelling actually feeling better. Managed getting in a few dog walks without much pain. Driving is a different animal though. Thanks for asking. Odd, I've lived most of my life barefooted whenever possible so normally don't even notice cuts and bruises on my feet, toes seem to be exempt from that perk these days.
Hate hearing about the BB not working out. I love my og mvv mods, hoping you'll enjoy the m2.
Wow, you must have really whacked your foot. I hope it gets better and returns to normal color soon.

Even with the new board I am very careful of what atty I use on the Cthulhu Tube Mod. You don't want to stress that leaf contact too much.

So I use a Mod Guard or two under attys that have a long 510 pin. You can get them from Kidney Puncher in various sizes and the online majors sell them as well, they are 0.5mm thick washers from 22mm to 30mm in diameter.
That poorly designed leaf contact is why I decided not to grab one. It wouldn't have been difficult for them to have designed something proper IMO.

ETA: Sorry, I see you and others replied about "all that". I was a couple pages behind.

The O-ring Store has been my go to for all o-rings. They, unlike many, allow you to purchase in small quantities. The O-Ring Store LLC, We make getting O-Rings easy!
Good quality o-rings and they ship fast. Never an issue with any order or item from them.

    Morning shinies ;)

Ive been using it all day with different rda's.
Im very comfortable with it. I like it a lot. As comfortable and as natural to hold and use for me as the pico25 which is my favourite mod to use . It almost feels like it isn't a new toy because it feels so familiar. The vv pulse x feels clunky to me in comparison.
Im searching down deals on the other two colour options right now. I dont think I will get as lucky again price wise.
Most of the reviewer's missed listing some details about the inbuilt protections.
It has the usual, reverse battery protection, 10sec cut off, short circuit protection and low voltage protection.
Only one day in, it's a mod, it does what they say it does.
I dig the finish but not every one will. It makes a change from the usual black and silver mods I get.View attachment 831793

It is a perfect size for me too - I just find it too hard to hold and fire boxy big mods. Keep road testing it for me ;)

The Russian 91% v2 is the best made clone of the Kayfun lite so any, and all, parts for the Kayfun lite (and v2) will work in the Russian. I have 8 R91% v2's and have bought many authentic SVM KFL spares and other spares. At FT you won't find it listed under "Russian", everything Kayfun related is now listed at "Lite Plus" and they used to have many items for both.

I just looked and FT is now sold out, bummer. https://www.fasttech.com/products/3052/10044031/9475300

In a way that is good because I have a much better source for replacement parts with superior machining.
Fat Daddy Vapes, I have bought much from Dennis over the years. He has quality parts made for mechs too. He and his son are great people. FatDaddyVapes.com - Home of the best vape tweaks and replacement hardware.

    Shop: SHOP
Search for Russian 91% and you want this listing... I have several of these kits...
    View attachment 831805

He has also been selling 510 BF parts to folks who make squonkers for years. There are many useful items on the shop page.

Another good source for parts is cremedevape. They used to carry every part for the Kayfun lite. I just looked and they no longer carry any parts, bummer.

However, you might want to consider grabbing a Kayfil tool from them. I have one and they work great with the Russian/Kayfun lite.
    Crème de Vape Kayfil Tool
"A very simple solution to allow access to the coil/wick in the original Kayfun Lite Plus without the need to drain the juice. Not only does the KayfilTM tool enable easy access to the coil, it also allows quick topping up on the go."

This is very useful. Thank you.

I am mystified by this message, though:
    CLEAR YOUR CARTS BEFORE PROCEEDING

We have implemented a new shipping system so that customers can choose Priority Mail if they want to but your carts needs to be cleared for it to happen.

If there is no shipping method in your cart, IT WILL NOT BE SHIPPED AND WOULD BE REFUNDED!!!

This seems to be saying that, to choose shipping, your cart has to be empty. But if you try to get to your cart when it's empty, you're just told there's nothing in it and there's no place to select shipping. And there's still no place to select shipping if you put stuff in your cart. If you go to checkout, you're just redirected to PayPal, even if you choose the option that's supposed to let you check out without a PayPal account. It's all very confusing. I'd like to order from these guys, but I'm tired and therefore stupid at the moment, so I've given up.

At times like these, everything about vaping seems complicated and intimidating and makes me want to go to sleep. I think that Expromizer destroyed me.

Just ignore the "cart" message. It always throws me off. I ignored it and my orders go through with no problems. I am pretty sure the shipping gets added at PayPal Checkout if I recall correctly.

Let me look at my last order... Ok my order from 1 July - the 1st PayPal screen shows no shipping then when you click on PayPal Checkout it adds the shipping to the last line item above total. It works.

I just panicked thinking my Cthulhu came with a spare dab of silicone that I needed to install under the pin myself, which would mean it wasn't a v2, but then I remembered that it was the Ultroner Mini Stick that arrived like that.

Too many mods, too little brain.
