Hi Rickie. For me, it's simply convenience and being ready. I hate looking for things when I need them, lights being one of those things. I either carry(edc) the things I use the most, or have them placed
throughout the house so I don't have to look for them. Lights are a big one for me. As I have aged, I have found having a light available to be a necessity for me. Looking under a piece of furniture for a lost or hidden pet toy, waking up in the night to use the ba
throom, taking the dog on an evening walk, searching the car for something lost, having a power outage and being ready for it, just needing a little more light to read something, not needing to hit the light switch every time you enter a room, seeing more detail when you're working on something small, snapping pictures that need more light, and the list goes on, but I hope this gives you an idea of why I enjoy collecting flashlights. They are useful to me on a daily basis. It's also a hobby, just like collecting knives, watches, guns, etc. I like light. The more the better.
