Oh cool. Does the adapter come with it?
No, it doesn’t. But I have several from other mods. Again, I would like to hear from somebody more knowledgeable than I if that’s acceptable, or if there’s some reason it’s not safe.

If you can get it to fit together and get solid battery connectivity then it will work. There is also a part that goes between the batteries to get them to connect solidly and safely. That has to work too.

Also, you need to understand how to build for series. That's twice the voltage, but the same amperage and capacity as a single.

Didnt 50cent write a song about that.....

Apparently the guy that has the Magic Stick

the forequoted went right over my head_ interpretation anyone?

    There sure is!

    29g Kanthal...SINGLE wire

    8 wraps

    2.0mm

    Japanese cotton

Kayfun Lite [2019] (Steam Tuners top fill kit optional)

    1.5~ ohms

    Fired @ 10 watts

    Provape Radius

(Boost set to 4 or 5 based on flavor of juice)

INFZN juice 36mg Nic Salt (they make many flavors for Phix pods, or IS Phix under a different label)

    Your mileage may vary!

P.S. Of course, I also like my 0.5ohm builds on my Authentic Exocet in my Authentic DNA60 Billet Box...with a two wire twisted, 28g Kanthal, 2.8mm, 6 wrap, ... cotton, fired at 25-30watt, 3mg juice.

that is so specific i feel like you just overshared some personal fetish!

i went into rba's cognizant that my experience with preferred power and resistance wouldn't count, but so far it's been similar: i'm liking 0.2 ohm (+- .05) at around 45w. which i think is quite close to my stock coil preferences, just a bit lower power i think: cleito k4 with it's nonvariable wattage (probably around 50 with the .2ohm coil) and nunchaku 2 with .2ohm mesh at 52watts.

my first mtl rba is still on the way. i did like the justfor minifit, don't remember the details, and the zlide at 1.6ohm and 13watts, i dont know why, but the setup literally makes me moan 4 vapes out of 5. (tried 1ohm and 1.2 which i'm vaping now, but there's something too light about the hit).

it;s the MD rta it is 'ready to ship' and it should come with 2 vandyvape spools, KA1 single 28 and KA1 32*2/38 fsdclptn..

never tried a highend tank like yours.

    @AvaOrchid
so shall i count this as a second vote for the simple jig as opposed to the CM4 2-piece-thread-wire-thru set?
and thanks for mentioning the direction thing, i'll wathc out as i start

Not necessarily a vote against it's kind of nice to have both I just find that I use a regular jig more. Considering that you can get the regular basic jig for like a dollar maybe two you can get one of those and the other thing and it's not going to break the bank. I just personally find that I use a regular jig more often. Let's just say that you don't need to get the coiler in order to have a happy vape experience

So I have my 2 mod orders out for delivery one of them includes some juice and one is the one that says it's being delivered Media Mail LOL.

I also have made orders for boring things that are not exciting or at least not exciting to me. I have a flavor jungle order and usually that would be exciting but I'm just picking up some creams and biscuits and graham cracker crust and stuff like that which I don't care for as a profile but I find necessary for like almost everything I want to try to make LOL. And then I also ordered some batteries.

I ordered something that I was fairly certain I would never order and that is a smok product. I couldn't resist the stinking Majestic because it's resin and it's purple and I love resin and I love purple and it was cheap. I'm just hoping that it was created before smok took a giant nosedive and reviewers seem to be pleasantly surprised by it so well I guess we'll see

yeah i started reconsidering cm after i played with som of the premades, spacing some, reducing and increasing wraps , and realized what winding is.
so i don't really need the whole gear and the way the alternative simple jig is used is essentially what i'll be doing with the CM?

i;m finding it hard to remember reading any post of yours that wasn;t just a little bit offensive.

don't know if you mean i won't be building quadcores [i don't intend on building anything from scratch] or i won't be using the wire i ordered
$10.32 Authentic Wotofo N80 Quad Core Fused Clapton Heating Wire - 28*4/36 AWG / 0.32*4/0.12mm dia. / 20ft at FastTech - Free Shipping :( as they're the only low resistacne i've ordered

i still haven't got the chance to try an alien, but out of staple, tricore, jugger, nurmal fused and braided nothing's felt right in comparison to the first quadcore Ang made me get. might be a quality discrepancy with some but over all, yea.
i do hope you're right though, that there are other satisfying vapes ou there
Oh another thing the one that @Don29palms shared looks like a pretty good product in fact I put it on my wishlist even though again I do use my jig more often than a coiler. I only have two different options for my coiler and I've been finding that I need a little bit more variety lately

    afternoon all.
my knee is telling me to use it less but hobbled through work.
i do need to make it to the PO in the next couple of days to send some shiny things west.
i did get two things delivered to work today (sneakily not to my office). my trilogy rta which I'll hopefully build tonight and wait for it... a braun electric razor. the 2 i have now seemingly aren't interested in making facial hair shorter any longer.
all this stacked talk is making me want to break the mage v2 out with something beefy.

Nice mod, I was going to ask if you've ever used a stacked mod before?

You do realize that it would require a 1.2 ohm coil for a 60W type of vape, which would be hard to do on a dual coil regular deck RDA. They do make a few RDAs with a neutral center post (series deck) which allows the two coils to run in series doubling the resistance instead of parallel which halves it.

Most stacked mech users usually don't go below 0.4 ohms which is 176W, but there are those Clouds Bro Neck Beards that dip into the 0.2? / 250W+ area. :w00t:

    Way too hot for me...

The top of the stack has that black plastic which isn’t removable m, but that silver colored pin does move - which should allow it to make contact with the top of the bottom and bottom of the top battery.

This adapter fits inside any of the 21700 mods I’ve tried. I think it’s out of a Topside but I really don’t recall. I just use this one whenever I need an adapter, rather than trying to keep all of them sorted for each different mod.

And that’s why, aside from the battery thing, I haven’t tried it out yet. I haven’t really messed with straying from my comfort coils. I’m not really used to the Ni80 yet, or kanthal. I want to practice up a bit. See what I like on a single before I try to figure how to do it on a stack.

Have fun, it can take quite a bit of tinkering to find a coil you like on a mech. I'm still searching for a single coil/cell build that I actually like.

Just play safe, as you now have two batteries that can get nasty quickly instead of one if something goes south.

If you like cloud chasing stacked mods and series box mods can't be beat. I'm a cloud guy and love my stacked/series mods. You definitely have to build for it.

I use the rods from the CM4 kit to install every coil. I find their extra length makes it easier to screw/clamp down on some decks, and the coil slides off easily. The coilers themselves, make it easier to wrap fused claptons without the wire twisting. But for round and flat wire, I just use the CM rods stuck in the handle.

I've tried a standard coil jig, but for me, it was awkward to get the coil on and off the jig. So it really comes down to what you prefer using - and unfortunately the only way to learn that, is by trying out different tools.

There is no right or wrong tool - just what is right for you

I like using the CM jig wire guide holes if I'm wrapping roundwire contact coils or small gauge claptons. Just seems to help me get nice tight clean wraps. I don't bother with the stubby little winder piece that fits on the end of the jig - it's finicky, causes overlapping and just isn't needed imo.

the trilogy. woa. wound 2 3.5mm hex core 316Ls. despite it being a 30mm rta the build deck isn't massive. so i wouldn't try many more wraps than these.

flavour? plenty. air flow? lots if required. got it about a third shut. one happy wolf right here.
