goodbye
i think i got the elevate going again!
weird, i could swear there isn't enough cotton after the last thinning__

I don’t thin the cotton too much. Just a bit. The most important part to me is making sure the cotton goes just past the opening to the juice well.

A little longer than I go, but this is good.

This. Hell I had a hell of a time learning to wick. A few here helped and I was good to go.

even if they were good pics, what's going to show other than too thin or too thick? i've seen all the vids and got it right more than once_ i think at some point it's right but not broken in and i just keep thing until it's gone and the other key problem seems to be choking inside. don't know how to avoid it other than twisting while wicking thru...

here's the ones i made back when i was first asked. some are too thick others are too thin. the quality is horrible and the aim is worse (it's the selfie side camera. the other one is broken and the lady is out of town)

    THAT'S IT!

    squonker (Topside single?) and rda!

something that'll vape like the elevate (when it works)_ thick, saturated and restricted.

    go!

Wotofo Elder Dragon RDA or the Wotofo Recurve RDA. Both postless decks like the Serpent. Both have awesome flavour and easy to wick. Recurve doesn't have much of a juice well - which means you need to squonk it more often. The Elder Dragon is what I wanna try next :D

This is a placeholder post. It’s now 6:09 PM and I want to see how far behind I am by tomorrow around 8 AM. I need an objective scientific explanation for how far behind I feel each morning.

Charlie enjoy your first night home and hopefully a good night’s sleep. To all, a Happy Valentines Day and enjoy the evening!

i'm right one out of two times.so here goes,i'll don't twist after starting the cotton. just pull back and forth to feel light resistance. also why does your coil look so dark?

that one wasn't fresh_ not normal?

    started twisting after failures without.
always do pull back forth. sometimes see/feel some curling inside, think that's the problem, start combing, thinned..

i would dry burn if that wire can. sounds like you need less cotton.i do not comb but i might be the odd one in the bunch.

I did this for awhile but I put mine (in pg) in the crockpot. I filtered through a coffee press with a very expensive piece of filtering material somebody pointed me in the direction of.
Supposedly you do not get much nic in it. For taste only
Yes that's my experience to...its for taste only. Nicotine has to be added.
I did various extractions..cold, warm (slow cooker) and ultrasonic bath. I haven't yet filtered all to compare how, or if they differ. LoL yes I have a cupboard full off bottles two years old. I'll get to that in time. I'm buying a fridge to store them in as i'm unsure how long they can actually last.
I also used a coffee filter and the cotton ball stuffed in a big injector. Its clean but the natural sugars are still present and that's what clogs up the coils fast.
There's a technique here (on the forum) where the steeped liquid is frozen and then the scum (sugars) is seperated. That makes a very clean liquid that don't clog up.

"dry.burn while partially ok__ something not saturated in an otherwise ok wick., i think
    often there's a sizzle after"

If you're getting dry or burnt hits your wick is too tight inside the coil. The Elevate is top air so you can experiment with less wick without fear of leaking - only a bit of gurgling or flooding if you go too far. Your wick tails look too long in all the photos to me. I'd cut them so they just poke past the threading. To get the best vape out of this RTA it's ok to hear some popping and crackling as you vape.
    Best of luck Virmy!!

If you figure it out let me know because I loved them but hated the clogged coils and all the crust left behind
