Oh I wish I didn't know about this Charlie! You made me watch Todd's review and I'm hooked. All the niggles about the OG Vapeshell have been addressed - looks brilliant. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.

Thanks! He’s doing a little better. It’s warm so I’m taking him for a short walk later. Still stiff but the sun seems to help.

I hope you’re doing well. I’ll try to grab a vapesnail before they’re gone. What wire are you using?

Well I got me some Rayon. Want to give it a fair go. Is this good stuff?
View attachment 871203
That's the stuff, easy to work with just keep in mind that Rayon is NOT cotton and has to be wicked differently. What would never work with cotton works perfectly with Rayon (tight in the coil, so tight that it squeaks and tails that are thinned out 50% or more depending on the atty). Rayon has a learning curve and most fail with it as they try and use it like cotton.

Good luck with it and don't give up if you fail wicking with it at first, coil density is the key and that takes trial and error to get right. Ask any questions you have and also check the Rayon Wick thread for great info.

If you have any friends in Germany, dm Viskose balls are awesome as well, 100% Rayon but a little harder to work with as you have to unroll them and fold them over to get decent density. Worth it though as I find them an improvement over the Sally's (Cellucotton).

I know it's going to be superb and the fact that you can recoil and wick without emptying the tank is a real winner.

I'll report back for sure on Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll probably put it in the unicorn poo :D

Glad he's rallying

I used a 3mm id Ni 80 40 ga + 3 28 ga Clapton wire for the wide open set up. If you want to go MTL 2.5 id will be better. The draw is absolutely perfect now which was my only complaint with the dot rba and especially the coils.....just a tiny bit too much restriction. Not to put too finer point on it I'm really pleased with it :D

...this is a usps thing...
Yes, indeed it is.

Every single problem I've ever had with receiving an order, from anywhere in the world including China, has been with USPS.

I actually feel sorry for the vendors sometimes. They're not perfect and they can have problems too, but for the most part they receive our orders, send them out, their shippers get them over here and then the drama starts when USPS gets their hands on it.

Then we go wailing to the vendors about "WHERE"S MY PACKAGE" when they've done their job. What other business is there where the only party who is actually at fault bears none of the responsibility? USPS loses it and then sends us to the vendor, who has done nothing wrong, to eat the loss.

I have personal firsthand experience with this. My local PO scans it in never to be heard from again and then tells me.. "oops, sorry abut that, maybe the seller will send you another one."

Who else can get away with that?
