I just can’t get excited over the frost for some reason. But.....If I ever come across a purple dot, I’ll jump on it. I did order dotplugs and one for the BB to see how they do. I “need” him to nail down the gold so I can get that too.
I cut out a small oblong of muji cotton and put it under my snail or boro on the side opposite the airflow. Got the idea from Atmizoo. Works great - condensation never gets to the back anymore and it also concentrates the air nicely.

I miss Frank....a very unfair loss in life.
Agreed. We need Frank, and George Carlin, about now with all that's going on. :D

And speaking of going on, What's Going On, perfect song for these times (all over again). Marvin Gaye, another great taken way too soon.

Forgive me. I don't think I'm hip n groovy enough to grasp the driving thesis of this post

quite the contrary, you're rather too hip and fashionable..
    Io (mythology) - Wikipedia
was just a silly pun i'm afraid, so you're not missing much_
"According to some stories, Zeus then turned Io into a heifer (a cow) in order to hide her from his wife; others maintain that Hera herself transformed Io"

in my defense i did a couple terry pratchet allusions and some musical idonnowhat not to mention the michael jackson nested in ts elliot the other day... felt i had to cater to the more archaicly persuaded

honestly, the things i do for you people! wheres the love i cook i clean i try to look good for y__ nevermaaaaaaaaaaaaind different beef different unrequiting audience _ HOAAAAAAAAANEY YOU DIDN'T SAY THE RIBS TASTED GOOD TODAY WHERE YOU AT!

hmm i actually wanted to brag about them ribs_ where's the ladies? bit of a peafowl;) fest last hour

i finally done something greek cuisiney, i think_ less spices and more simple frehs stuff right? fried ribs with garlic lemon and a bunch of poignant greens (including the roots from the failed coriander crop_ apparently the thai love it) .. actually did put some light arab spices while frying the meat itself... and the garliclemon sauce yea had quite a bit of corianderseed paprila and generous cumin but still... greek-uish right? i mean like the lemon with garlic and green dressing right?

ETA: Please do not ask me what they are. She knew all that stuff, not me. I jus knowz they all mighty purdy!!!

The purple ones are columbine. A self-seeding annual that will winter over, if conditions are right, for a year or two. The smaller pink ones I’m not sure.

And the black ones are hollyhocks. Taller than me already which isn’t saying much, but it’s early in the year for them to be this high.

The orange ones are wild and I believe native, we call them ditch lilies.
