I found another pic:
From this place, who have some awesome looking coils:
Badazd Coils
You don't have to disassemble it for cleaning, Zazie! I never did. It comes all put together, just unscrew the deck, the top, DT, etc., then give it a nice warm bath (I like Dawn), and you're ready to install your coil and wick. Wicking is easy. The difficult part is the filling and refilling of that monster--all the screwing of different rings (airflow, juice) clockwise, counterclockwise, and then again in reversed order. I could never remember that part and had to watch Phil's or Ruby's video almost every single time I had to refill or rebuild.
They look like the one's with the o-ring inside the top cap to me.Badazd?
I have a question about the Hastur. Sorry. Just one more.
Has anyone here used/know anything about Vaperscoil? Miraculously, they have the Hasturs in stock, I'm just a little suspicious that they may be the old version (without the o-ring on the cap that keeps the whole thing together). I sent them 2 emails, no reply. Any information would be most welcome.
Also, have any of you ordered that optional kit of inserts? It has two dual-hole inserts that look interesting.
I like my Hastur.
I simply use nic pg base for its thinner texture, just easier to work with overall. Neither is right or wrong.I did VG nic for DL and MTL for over almost two years. No issues to report.
DL, always pg base for nic.
We had it easy back then, there weren't all that many options. Someone at that point today would have hundreds of tanks to choose between.
I just spent the past 4 hours creating a very telling, important, groundbreaking not to mention world-renowned experiment on this View attachment 895393

want to order some and now I am not sure. Do I need clockwise or counter?
Thanks to SMT I found I need counter.Just watched a lite video. Coil needs to be anticlockwise. Then it'll fit perfectly. Just unwind one and re-wind it. Done.
ETA: Just saw Pigs is on it already.![]()

Right???
ETA: That's Vaperscoil photo.
So it looks like the Ares 2 is finally trickling into US stores. Anyone know anything about VaporDNA?
Yes and some of those people went on to be the modders of today and or very respected members of the vaping communityThis was such a great thread back in the day by RoxyNoodle. Just scrolling through it now, so many great people no longer on ECF...
The Overlooked Tootle Puffer Gear Thread
You need to wrap a coil yourself and make sure you start the other direction. It's an easy fix.Help...builders @TrollDragon @AngeNZ
I bought the Mizer lite. Trying to install a coil and a new build deck to me. Watched a video and the guy says the coil must be wrapped up over the top not from under. I barely listen to this part and install my coil. It is not running the direction it should. Uninstall and try another. Same thing. Hmmm..might be something to what this guy says as all my coils end up running the wrong direction, like north to south and they should be east to west. Any fix for this? I did not even know this was a problem and never encountered it before
Yes we don't like the heat much anymore.....you can't tolerate it so well as you age. My wife Veronica hates it. Days are spent trying to keep the house cool as we don't have air con. We shut some of the shutters and have the windows open at night.....well he ones with security grills on anyway. Thanks! It’s very hot here lately. Mid 90s. Might not sound bad to some of you, I suppose, and it didn’t used to bother me when I was younger. It’s a little much now lol.
We don’t get terrible humidity like elsewhere, but as I’m not used to it, I feel it. The air totally stops moving when it gets this hot.
Good luckHad a price today for the 21700 triple volcano mod, Trying to convince other half we need this.
At least we have a dry heat here in the south of France....it does get very humid in Sydney doesn't itThat's why I don't like late summer here. Humidity often in the 90s
That's good news.....well done!!The Piglet cleared of covid. Onwards and upwards
That was a common complaint. They didn't bring much more to the table except complexityI never wanted to make my own coils... I was a carto/clearo person for a very long time. Still am, come to think of it. I love those blister packs. The best compromise was my first Kanger mini--premade coils and an RBA coil. I still like it. Great tank.
But I couldn't resist forever. Kayfuns (clones), Lemo, Taifun, Hurricane, Erlkonigin. My favorite vape was the Kayfun 4, ideal draw, easy build, but not necessarily user-friendly. Just a bit over engineered for my taste.

Exactly.Ahem, you mean anticlockwise?
