Watch Phil Busardo's videos--he shows how to build the Ares in great detail.
I know, I was planning to. His past video have always been really informative.

I will probably start trying to build some coils this weekend when I can set aside some more time for it. I do like how they sent wire and cotton in the box, since I haven't bought any yet.

You have everything you need to build your Ares in the enclosed baggie, including pre-built coils. Install, wick, fill the tank and you're off to the races! Phil and Dimitris really did a good job.

Yeah, they don't skimp on the extras with their products.

@Pigs & @ShowMeTwice sorry for my novice misuse of the terms. I'm just a lowly listener and can really appreciate the way this album sounds. :D

I like a lot of the stuff that David Chesky puts out as well.
No apology needed TD. There is understanding. All is truly well and good.
Hope you are stilling enjoying your fabulous new cans.

I know how to in theory I guess. I should probably watch at 10-20 hours of more video just to be safe.
Don't think you'll need that many. ;) Phil's video should do the trick. My first coil and wicking I had a video up, rewound it a zillion times. Double/triple checked this and that. Took my time. Once you get it down, piece of cake.

If you need help just ask. Or PM. Plenty of builders here who I am certain will offer their help. Whatever works best for you. :D

Morning shinies ;)

Played with the Tripod RTA this morning. First attempt was great, but wasn't bowling me over. Then I remembered SMT's brilliant post and raised my coil up a bit, and the difference was amazing  What flavour it brings out in cream mixes is just fantastic

I'm running it wide open with no mtl insert and no chimney/chamber reducer. The draw is still on the restricted side, more restricted than the Gear RTA wide open. It's definitely in your ballpark Ms @Katya :D
Winner/Winner tofu dinner!!! :) :D

P.S. The ð is pronounced like the th in "this."
You know what. I've been trying to pronounce this all night. Still getting hung up on th followed by an r. It comes out of my mouth all sorts of messed up.

ETA: HA!!! Think I finally got it. Sanndgrither. Who the ___ puts a thr at the end of anything??? It's supposed to be at the beginning/middle, not end!

Some Lotus pics I took, and a huge statue of Púsà in Sanya at a huge Buddhist temple complex, in the Province of Hainan China. It's an island in the south of China. We have a house in Sanya. I love going on vacations there. Maybe not so much anymore though. :( Threw in a bonus pic of a cool critter in the backyard. And also one of my son 15 years ago:thumb:

Got them last year after a few of us in the stocking up thread were talking about having them as backups in case we are unable to build someday.
    .

I think this is where RDAs and squonking will come into play for some people too. It's a hell of a lot quicker and easier to coil and wick an RDA, compared to an RTA. Add pre-coiled coils into the mix? even better

And on the vape front...my Dvarw has hit Sydney. Hopefully should arrive in my mailbox before the weekend!

I forgot about your FT-on-crack delivery speeds  I was so amazed that my last FT order of a Juggerknot mini RTA only took 2 weeks to find NZ. Maybe our kiwi orders are hitching a ride on your FT Crack Express :D

I did my first build (2k16 Doggy RTA) by following a video. It was in FRENCH  so I can attest that watching works just as well as listening

I expected my mod to blow up when I fired up my newly built coil for the first time. It didn't :grr: And I also expected to drown my mod, once I had it wicked and filled the tank. It also didn't :grr:

Instead I had a fluke coil that vaped AMAZING
