As such, I've spent my week wheedling down my final fasttech order according to your list of must have's that I don't yet have.

A couple times I've taken stuff off the list only to put it back on...but at this point we need to hurry it up a bit with the whole deciding thing, anything I order from China has to have passed through customs by September..

Hahaha

I love you!
Don't even get me started on lists.

Just the other day it was all nice and neat. Now ... ... it's a total mess. :D

Good morning shinies

My Mixx DNA 60 came yesterday. Pics to follow after testing later. First impressions are really good ergonomics for an SBS.

Have a great day shinies :D
Good afternoon to you Charlie. Great eve to U and Her (and France).
I've been waiting to hear good notes on the Mixx SbS.

Here she is.....the Mixx paired with the Dvarw DL...

Where did you get yours from???

Maybe the 4mm insert on the Dvarw DL is a teeny bit airier than the 3 hole Axial af. Not much in it but I'm using an 810 DT on the Axial and the Dvarw is 510 so it's kind of apples and oranges.

Hey here's a tip with one sided air - if you angle the air intake directly away from your face instead of to one side/ear it makes it feel much more balanced.
With the great flavour and the optional af insert sizes I reckon you'd love the Dvarw DL Ange. It's also shown no signs of leaking or dry hits. Chain vaping is fine.
The only downside I can see is the posts being designed for roundwire builds (as mentioned by @charlie1465 ) but you can see in my first build photo that they will trap 2-28/36 fused clapton wire if you're careful.
Go on buy one!!
I'm very likely going to pickup a Dvarw DL FL.

Loving my Dvarw MTL FL. Flavor is supremely awesome. I still need to try a couple of the more open AF inserts I bought specifically for an airier MTL and for RDL.

On my v1 MTL Dvarw's I am able to get a 26/36 316L clapton installed. It is tight but doable. KHW changed the design of the deck on the FL's to better attach, and grip, our coils.

FL improvements: KHW info copied is a combo of DL and MTL FL's.
1. Mech safe 510 insulator
2. Shorter than V1
3. PEEK chimney
4. Offset posts
5. Improved coil leg clamps. Ridge on the edge.
6. 22mm glass tank section (available separately); 24mm DL
7. MTL largest optional airhole is 2x2mm (=2,83mm) (available separately)
....DL has default 2×2.5mm air insert
8. Easier bottom fill (fewer turns of the tank section)
9. Viton o-rings
10. 22mm and 24mm MTL; 24mm DL
11. Fixed position chimney
12. Engraved AFC inserts (1×1,2mm is MTL stock and comes with a deck)
13. Shorter chimney, smaller chamber
14. Airflow is optimized

From @Robfisher's SA forum Borrowed his pic's. Will return them when done. :D

Coil posts are now offset. Along with improved coil leg clamps.

Pretty sure that's a 2.5mm Ni80 nano alien 3*29/38 0.4Ω
200105-0b425ec085484918a4a4c1e49a6e4f7f.jpg <--- from his post

He has many more photos there. ( @AngeNZ )

Only question I have: Is the airflow more restricted on the Dvarw DL FL with the default insert, as some have said, or the same as the v1's. Hoping Rob will address that seeing as he beta tested the FL's and knows better than most the differences between the two.
TIA

If the FL MTL version indeed has an outside AFC, even a single one, the Dvarw is moving to the top of the list.
If I am to trust my digital caliper; the Dvarw MTL FL single airflow measures 6.95mm (~7) x 2mm. Default AF insert is 1.2mm. You can go bigger air with the other inserts. From very airy MTL all the way to a restricted DL. They also offer a "proper" 0.8mm MTL for those who desire tight (gnat's azz).

MTL FL outer airflow...

Other side...

With the optional airflow inserts it is in your airness.

Mine came from Cheeky vapes London. Here's a link....

Aspire & Sunbox Mixx

I'm really pleased with it and it's really well built for a Chinese manufacturer and of course the DNA 60 makes it a no brainer also. Ergonomically, it just works really well and the ability to convert it to 18350 is a plus. It looks really small when you do :) There are just two screws to loosen and take out to change to the different tube then job done. The Dvarw looks great on it and it's quite stealthy if that's what you need.

You won't regret it

Just popping in to say hi. Been busy with another round of masks, now that many places require them. My budget is mostly going towards that, and trying to save up in case I need to help the kids.

My daughter was sick at the beginning of the month, but tested negative. Her Bf got sick last week, still waiting for his test results. So far, his temperature hasn’t gone over 100, so that’s good. But I worry. I love that kid like one of my own.

I do lurk just to see how you folks are doing. No word from Eskie yet?

Hi Delores. Fingers crossed for your daughter's bf. No sign of Eskie yet but there is some work being done to confirm that he's ok. I'm sure any results will be shared here as soon as they can be.

Great info thanks SMT! I'm wondering if the 11 fixed chimney position means you won't be able to spin the juice inflow ports to suit your coil alignment? I like that in the og design.

Hi!!! Hopefully your daughter's BF doesn't have it. Fingers crossed.

No word from Eskie yet. @Opinionated tried contacting him via phone but hasn't heard back, yet. His daughter had C19, got better and IIRC got sick again. I do hope and pray he didn't get it and is doing well. Maybe he is just taking some "me" time??? IDK. He's in my thoughts and stuff. Hope he pops in, even if to say "hi".

@Robfisher has an alien coil that specifically was designed for his Dvarw's called the fisher coil made by a company called PC Coils from Belgium but hopefully he'll comment as he know better than I.

The new deck certainly looks easier to install an exotic on with the retaining design because that's my one grumble about the Dvarw.....coil installation can be a real pia.

It's become my favourite tank though and the draw on the DL is perfect for me with awesome flavour.

Hope this helps :)
