I didn't know that about lubing the o ring so thanks for the tip!
As for coil angle I'm not sure I agree. In this dodgy diagram/photo :) you can see that the red line is my current angle and the blue is another possibility. The more extreme the angle (red or blue) the more coil wraps you can fit without having to bend the coil legs back inwards

You're welcome Pigs.

You are totally correct and that is brilliant. I never even thought of angling my coil like that. Noted, and going to try it that way next time with the OG.

I sure am happy to have a very helpful engineer in the Shiny house. :D

With the FL you can get more wraps without angling the coil due to the offset posts. But it might also work like your pic. Only thing I can think of is the wick tails would have to be angled due to the fixed chimney position. It's worth a try.

Decided on keeping the gray dual Topside due to peer pressure  !! I don’t make a very good sales person esp when it’s something I don’t really feel like selling something
especially if it contains stabwood. Good thing I didnt go into sales instead of health care lol!

IMO it’s a great looking device albeit a bit odd design. Still wish Dovpo could’ve managed 21700s or 20700s into it but at least its a dual 18650 dual battery. Might’ve been too heavy but it would’ve been a plus for me.

Still deciding on which rba i will use with it. I’ve been looking for a black Tauren RDTA or maybe even gunmetal. Both would look sweet and more in proportion to the large mod size. But I can’t find one except in Timbuktu.

I’m actually surprised the airflow is as good as it is considering it’s just the 2 angled airflows which if built right should hit the coil just right.

There’s a newer Tauren Max RDTA which looks very similar except the airflow can be adjusted by closing off or opening multiple small openings. I may like that one more since I like it gusty!! So I did order one of these just not from Timbuktu!!

Here are a few pics of the dual Topside

Original Blotto comes in purple

Well, in that case!!

I love you!

Aw shucks... I'm gonna need a bigger hat!

And the feeling is mutual. I love you even when we bitterly disagree. What was it? TC? ;)
You probably have no idea how funny this week has been, but as you remember, you and I have near identical airflow needs and desires in an RTA...

As such, I've spent my week wheedling down my final fasttech order according to your list of must have's that I don't yet have.

A couple times I've taken stuff off the list only to put it back on...but at this point we need to hurry it up a bit with the whole deciding thing, anything I order from China has to have passed through customs by September..

Hahaha

Hahaha is right. Too funny. My FT cart is (almost  ) ready, but now I'm afraid to place my order, what with all those FT packages going missing or taking forever.

I'm going to pay for DHL this time. I've used DHL from China once, and the time to get to here from China was the same as any U.S. priority - I got my package in 3 business days - so if there are any delays with that service, they should be minor rather than a major issue.

And yes, lol, it was TC.. haha (love you anyway, your too much like me sometimes though, opinionated.. hahaha)

I may do the same.

Sourcemore. Still in a black hole.
I ordered from My Freedom Smokes and received it in less than a week. Ended up being about 52 bucks with a coupon code including shipping. I don't know if you would be interested, but I thought I would let you know.

That's what I'm going to do with my FT order. I think DHL is worth it especially after reading the couple FT threads.

My last couple packages from Europe saw no delays. One was DHL (4 days/France) and the other FedEx (3 days/KHW mods). Both of those are recent and during our current global bummer.

My daughter was sick at the beginning of the month, but tested negative. Her Bf got sick last week, still waiting for his test results. So far, his temperature hasn’t gone over 100, so that’s good. But I worry. I love that kid like one of my own.

FWIW, my DD tested positive for Covid two weeks ago, had only minor symptoms, got quarantined and subsequently cleared by the Health Department. She's 25. If they (he and she) only have/had mild symptoms, there's nothing to worry about.

We worried too. Good luck!

@Katya and @Opinionated and, and, and @AngeNZ ---> spill the beans Ladies!
Dwarv, Haar, Ares v2, and there was something else unless I took it back out... I'll have to go through and check.

I just got the coppervape project x in the mail and if I really like it I'll get another, but I'm not going to have much time with it to decide because it took 7 very long weeks to get here...

Still wondering (just a little) whether to get the deal on no-name Dvarw with all the inserts (in cart) or get the SXK version and inserts separately.

ETA:

The sxk Nibiru.. that airflow may be slightly tight but it'll be fine for hubs..

There was something else I added and took out, that I'm going to have to figure out what it was again because I decided to put it back in, because I got distracted and forgot what earlier. Lol

Atomizers--still can't decide which Tripod I want. Everybody likes the Ulton, the other no-name Tripod is half the price and no complaints. Oh, and the FatBoy bubble glass for Tripod is in another cart.
