Soooo, how do you like the Haar???

Give us the details Man!!! :D
Excellent! Truly level up quality and performance from the mainstream.

Super smooth airflow. I'm running it with the 3 holes on each side open. Side airflow inside well placed in relation to the posts so it's quite easy to get a coil in the right position for maximum flavor and vapor production. In fact it would be tougher if not impossible to get it actually wrong. You'd have to go out of your way to pull the coil up way too high or something.

Build quality also superb, but not 100% flawless. Threads ARE flawless, fit and finish is too. There are however some very minor machining marks inside the chamber that you have to look for and get the light just right to see.

Easy to build, but not the very easiest. Works best with coils wound counter clockwise. Coil needs to be held secure to keep it from worming out while tightening, but not a big deal to negotiate. Some others are far worse for this. Once secure they ARE secure.

Meaty screws and posts so it would take some enthusiasm to strip either the allen heads in the screws or the threads in either the screws or the posts. The screws are also placed right up against the inside of the posts so anything from thin micros to some fairly wide complex coils can be mounted with confidence.

It has a retention ring on the base that holds in the deck, which can be removed with a full tank. Very nice, but make sure it's tightened all the way when reassembling. It can give the illusion of being fully tight, but needs a bit more. It won't leak if you don't, but it will leave some small gaps.

Wicking is very easy, but use a fair bit more cotton than you might at first be inclined to use. 5 or 6 mm beyond the edge of the deck. The ports are wide and deep, but juiceflow comes from the top and onto the wicking along the outside of the deck. Not from the side or underneath. You need to have the ports full, and fluffy on top for the juice spout things to sit snugly on the cotton. This I could see somebody getting wrong and having some flooding, but quite simple to overcome if so.

Filling is a BIT fidgety, but also no big deal once you have it down. You close the juiceflow, screw off the cap, which has a pretty long travel, fill it up and screw the cap back down. If it's just been rewicked, I open the juiceflow right away. If it's being REfilled, I hit it a couple times before opening the juiceflow, just as an extra measure to avoid too much juice in the chamber. Not an absolute necessity.

The drip tip is a 2 piece affair with a SS base and interchangeable top pieces with a larger and smaller bore depending on what you prefer. It will sit crooked because of the way it goes into the chimney with one o-ring. and the cap with the other. You can push on it all day long and will NOT go in straight. Give it a little twist while pushing it in and it goes fully in and straight and stays that way

Superb rdtl vape. That's it's wheelhouse. Which makes sense because that's Todd's wheelhouse too. It's neither a big air cloud chaser nor really mtl either, though you could tighten it up and be happy with it I suppose.

Wow, I went way outta hand here, but I'm sure I forgot something anyway.

Atomizers--still can't decide which Tripod I want. Everybody likes the Ulton, the other no-name Tripod is half the price and no complaints. Oh, and the FatBoy bubble glass for Tripod is in another cart.

Any insights?
Looks like you have all your bases covered.

My list has the Haar and Nibiru. Oh yeah, and the Dvarw DL FL. The Gear is off my list, DL takes its place. I like my Dvarw's. They deliver. It's a simple RTA, great flavor, easy to build and maintain. For me, IMO, Dvarw's are a no-brainer. :D

Nice looking order, except there's no Brunhilde in there! That can always be addedo_O

One thing I would definitely say is if you do place your order keep a close watch on the ETA dates that FT give you, they always seem to change with things that aren't in stock:)

Oh Charlie, that is a stunning combo
I've had an eye on the Mixx since I first saw it. I love how I could use taller tanks yet still have a low profile. The Mixx is very firmly NeedListed :D

No one wants to say it but....it will make the brunhilde look not so hmmm tall and mighty

Today's vapemail is brought to you by the letters FT ;)

Another conundrum. Do you think that we'll be able to order originals from Europe in the (near?) future? I always start with clones.

I honestly can't see why not. Currently there are millions of inbound small pkg's daily. There aren't enough customs agents to individually inspect each of the current number of small packages. It's a numbers thing. US Customs is, and always has been, more interested in making the big busts. Follow the $$$, yes/no.

I suspect Europe, and others too, will get very creative shipping to the US in the near future. Some already have. Just depends on what happens. I am sure some will stop shipping here. Question is who and how many will go away. Right???

My last 2 packages from Europe, during the last two months, were both labeled "Parts". The shipper was not labeled as the online store (personal names instead). So there was no indication of them being RTA's. And that is obviously without any regulations. Makes me think they are ready for the potential "whatever".

Any US regulations won't stop me, you and others from trying. I am confident we will get very creative and succeed. One way or another. :)

I sure did! And yes the FL has a lot of improvements including the post changes. I still love my OG DVarw DL's and can pop a new coil in with ease... I have done it enough times. I just rest my fingernail against the post with the coil leg between my nail and post and tighten... Bazinga! The Fisher Alien is available in Belgium from PC Coils and South Africa from The Coil Company. I tested a lot of coils before settling on this setup... and I fire it at 28 watts!

Thanks Rob I'll give the fingernail method a try. It has a tendency to slip out on me and it drives me nuts :)

Excellent review mate!!! I will likely get one. Your review, and solid tips, are very helpful. Thanks!!!
i got mine at VAPINART , but I'm thinking you're probably not in the states. It ain't dirt cheap, but if you fancy a very smooth and flavorful rdtl style of rta it's a future proof keeper.
