@Redbird11 the best way to find out about how all the parts of an RTA work is probably to watch lots of youtube reviews by guys like DJLsb Vapes, Todds reviews, pbusardo and even Mike Vapes and SMM. If you go back a couple of years before pods became dominant you'll find more RTA reviews. It's all pretty simple and the basic principles are much the same across devices.
Oh, I understand the basic principles of the RTA. I guess what I should have said was that I just don't understand enough about what features are important, such as "Shorter chimney, smaller chamber" or "Fixed position chimney", or "Offset posts."

In the coming dark ages... things like insulators and o-rings plus other critical RBA parts will become like gold to vapers. :D
Though o-rings can always be purchased elsewhere.

My suggestion? Include at least one of these in each FT order:

Give them something to REALLY talk about
I'm way ahead of you there. I get one in every order from Amazon too. Not for customs reasons. I just find they make interesting Christmas presents to family and friends.

@Katya, I've been thinking ... :danger: ... there is an option that will give you the flavor and the exact AF you seek, guaranteed.

Come on over to the squonk side!!! :D

Old dog new tricks? I've been resisting squonking since the Reo introduced the mini Woodvil. I really wanted one.

Only one I know the function or advantage of, is the smaller the chamber the more intense the flavor. I am guessing the shorter chimney also brings better flavor. I've heard the closer your draw is to the coils, the better the flavor. The rest of those, I don't know the function or significance of.

Years ago we hosted a big birthday party for my SIL. Everyone was instructed to buy "those" kind of items for her. It was great fun watching her open them and all her facial expressions. Lol. Even funnier was her husband getting all embarrassed over comments made about sizes of some of them.

@Katya Here's another possible RTA for you. It's the Fumytech Gotank MTL RTA. A few of us got them due to their deck being so close to the doggy RTA. It's a 2mm id airflow hole, 3ml, top fill and mine was as bulletproof as the Hastur. Airflow wise, it has 5 holes one 1 side, 3 on the other, with a wider slot:

you won't believe me, but NONE. I didn't even realize FT sold them til I started clicking on the New Arrivals tab. I live a frickin sheltered life
If you want some free entertainment, spend some time reading the reviews for some of these products on either FT or Amazon. Some are quite funny. Especially on Amazon.

The Gear has been built! I was excited to see the rainbow I ordered (because everything else was oos), was stainless when I opened the box!! Threw a .6 spaced coil in, checked for hot spots, quickly wicked.... and POOF! wick up in flames  :lol:
Managed to not catch the whole bathroom on fire at least. Well, it’s up and running. I’ll make a decision on it later.

Interesting. Fumytech makes the Precisio also, right? I wonder if it's like a Precisio but with glass and ss. Thanks!

That video is a classic. Victor!
I have that somewhere in my highly (un)organized mess of bookmarks.

Victor and another idiot on You Tube, we called him towel boy, whose mech mod got so hot that he had to hold it with a towel.
