I love my Galaxies RDTA - squonkable and a clever top fill valve if you're using on a regular mod. I use it for very restricted DL

By regular mod you mean a non-squonker, right?

I'm still trying to figure out the difference between an rda and RDTA. I understand that an RDTA has a tank, like an RTA, and you don't have to drip (or squonk). Am I in a ballpark? Can an RDTA be used just like an RTA? Off to watch some videos. Learning curve. ;)

There are no dumb questions with vaping. Other than the one not asked.

Yes you can vape low wattage on a Luna.

Example: If you have a 1 ohm coil and a fully charged battery (4.2v) you will get 17.6 watts. Our batteries don't stay at 4.2v so, at 3.6v you will get 12.9 watts. Info from Steam Engines Ohm's law.

Using Steam Engine you can tweak your setup for your desired vape.

That's always been my biggest con with unregulated mods. Not the math and the Ohm's Law calculations--that can be learned quickly, even though it's a PITA--but the lack of consistency. With the fresh off the charger battery you always get a hotter vape, then you get your 3.7v where you want to be, and then, as the battery gets depleted, you enter the dreaded dull sagging voltage territory.

When I got my first VW mod, it was a revelation. You want 12 watts, you get 12 watts, no matter your coil resistance, your battery charge, no matter what you do. The same lovely consistent hit from start to finish.

I am interested in thoughts regarding a paypal dispute for vaping gear.

I know nothing about PP or cc disputes as I've never had to resort to one. whenever I had a problem, I always managed to somehow resolve it with the vendor directly. But I understand that it's not always possible.
Technically, Paypal is not supposed to be used for vaping purchases from what I understand.

Only domestically--due to our idiotic anti-vaping and anti-tobacco regulations. Outside of US PP can be legally used for any vaping-related transactions.

I wish this had come out in the days when the Kayfun emerged, it would have been a contender.

Ah! But Kayfun is the granddaddy of them all. Everyone took/borrowed/copied the Kayfun deck and ran with it. All kinds of improvements have been made, but it's still, basically, a Kayfun deck. I've been hoping for years for some true innovation--haven't seen any. :D

Both the Narca and Narda are superb RDA's. Small chamber with fantastic flavour and pretty over squonk proof..... @Katya

Yeah I kind of regret not getting the chance to try those, but we can't buy every RDA made. Well, some of us can't... lol.

I may try and see later down the road if those won't squeak through customs..

You just need to change out the BF 510 pin to a regular one, and it is a regular tank that you can put on any mod.

Aha! That's the one I'm getting then. I can always use it as a regular RTA--if I fail at squonking.

It's morning! Having my first cup of coffee...

What time is it? Oh no!

I really need to take a break from this thread--and from ECF. I'm spending way too much time here! Just like in the early days, when we didn't know what we were doing and people were posting non-stop at all times of day and night.

I started off with the Galaxies RDA because they were on closeout sale for 5 dollars each and many people loved the RDTA so I thought I'd try the RDA... once I backed out the airflow pins I really fell in love with them, so stuck with them...

If you took a break from ECF I'd be all kinds of sad... :(

Right on Zazie!!!

I'll go further and speak the undercurrent as I understand it. There are X number of men who see and hear "firm woman" and feel very very threatened. Those types of men label a firm woman as a radical. Yet a man who is labeled firm is highly desired. No double standard there! Those types of men are the majority who have been in positions of power for 1000's of years. Yet look at all the tragedies they've left in their wake. It's well documented in history.

Same types of men who fear women in power. Same types who to this day feel a woman's place is in the home in a 'traditional' role. Same types who believe a Woman is not an Equal. Same types who believe a woman should be subservient. Same types who treat women like crap or bully them. I could go on and on.

Besides women, I see several groups of Humans as having not attained true equality in a white male dominated, and controlled, society. And what I've stated is no knock on guys as I am merely stating unspoken truths all already know. And I know dang well this is another one of those uncomfortable 'things' to talk about. Too bad, I love stirring the pot. It makes for a far better meal! :D

Ha, I pulled out the Bast*rd RTA this evening. Excellent!!!

Not sure about your jurisdiction @Redbird11 but I have used PayPal exclusively for vape purchases for 4 1/2 years.

I had a dispute with a Chinese vendor resolved in my favour a few months ago.

If you log in to your pp acount then search dispute resolutions it will take you through easy steps. Best of luck
