I've been running exactly the same build in my DL FL as my DL (V3). Same wick, same juice, same power settings.
I'm finding that after about 2 days I'm consistently getting an almost burnt flavour from the FL clone. The wicks never come out showing any brown through the coil so it's not dry/burnt hits.

True it's slightly more constricted air with the dual 2.5mm inserts in the FL than the 4mm in the DL (V3) but I'm not sure that explains it. Both are 0.5 Ohm Ni80 fused claptons running at 40W.

Any thoughts? I'm hoping it's nothing to do with the "PEEK" chimney in the SXK clone.

I'm running my DL and DL FLs with the same coil and wattage. I'm using the 2*3mm inserts in the FLs, 4mm in the DL. But down at my 20-25 watts I'm not seeing any difference like that.

Maybe you just need more airflow? The 2*3mm insert is only the equiv. of a 4.24mm, so it's the closest one to a 4mm.

I love the draw of my DL FLs running with that insert. But overall I still prefer the DL over the DL FL. For now at least, while I'm still figuring them all out

Letter d--d, v--as in very, a--sounds like the a in "are, r--like the Italian, Polish or Irish rolled r, and another v.
