So sad to hear about Rob. We had our difference of opinion but all things considered he's a good guy. It's ruining my day so far thinking about it...especially him and that beautiful boy being so close. Yeah life is so short people. We need to make every opportunity count. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.


LOL I considering it. Even had a look at some, but that damn dog is 40kg...and little one has a mind of her own. And I have to carry the granny bags on the rear carrier...We'll see going forward.

Nope, I didn't think about problems with wicking it - but it handled my usual rough pulling and tugging a piece of cake.

If you've got ribbon wire lying around, it's definitely worth trying a tiger coil for something different. I went small as I wanted to use it at around 25-30 watts - which this 0.5*0.1mm/28g is perfect for.

And I also did a low twist rate, I'll add more revolutions next time.

It certainly didn't get as hot chainvaping as a clapton does, but flavour-wise it's a smidge below a fused clapton coil. It does have better flavour than my usual 0.5*0.2mm flat wire, though - so it may find itself into a Dvarw very soon

Discovered another benefit of vaping yesterday....

While at the Dr, the nurse gave me a booster tetanus jab. After I took off my jacket she said "Oh you smell nice!" As I'd come straight from work, and if anything should've smelt like crap, literally - I was puzzled. I then remembered I'd chain vaped caramel ice cream all the way there

Oh and @Cloud-FF7 I still didn't get a kiss on the cheek

We have some bad news about @Rob B. which he said was ok to share you all.

Rob knows his friends on ECF have been concerned about his recent absence. In an email exchange with Dan and I he shared the following news-

After a period of bad headaches over the last couple of months, Rob's doctors discovered an inoperable brain tumor.

In his words "the prognosis sucks".

The details of Rob's path going forward are private but I'm sure we all wish him the best. In his email he said the following:

I truly appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers, and wishes, but I don't have the energy or emotions to deal with this. I have greatly enjoyed my time at ecf, and I wish you all and your families, long, safe, and healthy lives. ❤

Oh no. I'm so terribly sorry to hear this.... Thanks Pigzy for letting us know. If you get a chance, please, please let him know that he's in our thoughts and prayers.

Epic. On another note if you go to pretty much any Spanish country the kiss on the cheek is a standard costume of greeting but mostly between people you know. Imagine an extended family reunion of 50+ It takes awhile to greet everyone

Your phone camera does pretty good. I took your pic and zoomed in and that was the reason for my question. It looked like the edges of the ribbon would catch the wicking. I do have some flat wire and I'll have to try a tiger wire. Thanks for the info

I think that chocolate LGs are a touch fatter, but they all fit, albeit tightly (in the Colossals).
