I came in after Rob, but this is heartbreaking news for him, his family and friends definitely will say some prayers for them..
From @Daniel Forsyth and myself:

We have some bad news about @Rob B. which he said was ok to share you all.

Rob knows his friends on ECF have been concerned about his recent absence. In an email exchange with Dan and I he shared the following news-

After a period of bad headaches over the last couple of months, Rob's doctors discovered an inoperable brain tumor.

In his words "the prognosis sucks".

The details of Rob's path going forward are private but I'm sure we all wish him the best. In his email he said the following:

I truly appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers, and wishes, but I don't have the energy or emotions to deal with this. I have greatly enjoyed my time at ecf, and I wish you all and your families, long, safe, and healthy lives. ❤

Good morning shinies

Have a fantastic Thursday. I'm off for my first haircut since all my hair fell out in February. Looking forward to looking neat and tidy again

Nice! Enjoy your haircut, Charlie.

Oh ty so much, make some feel better I just learned about it today and thought crap am I going to have to give up my one vice.. Where would you recommend I find some information my husband wants to study up..What is the price difference ?
I've read a lot about it. No worries about safety or efficacy, only about the price. A nicotine molecule is a nicotine molecule.

I'll never be able to go horseback riding again, that was told to me by the doctors before the first surgery, and I'm on the third.. haha. Not talking any chances like that.

But dancing? Very soon I'm sure...

my recovery really is going well. I'm PT-ing my .... off, but its going really well, for real. By this time next year I'll be back in my kitchen cooking and in the great outdoors taking photographs like none of this nastiness ever happened!

Oh, Ops... I'm so happy for you.

God, this thread is an emotional roller coaster...

DIY TFN™ Nicotine 100mg*

I don't have any links on hand or current prices because I'm really not interested at the moment--I'm sticking with tobacco-derived nic for now. But if you google it, you'll find a lot of information and prices.

Doing fine and don't think I caught Covid :D feels good being neat and tidy.

It's only my bloods and immune system that has to come back to normal. It's annoying as without the immune system problem I'd be back to work but doc has put me on a total ban especially with the pandemic. As long as I don't have a relapse I'll be fine. I'm having a transfusion of Rituximab every two months to prevent that.

Hope you're doing well...how are things with you?

Oh dear I mucked this up x2. Trying to do too much all at once!

You sure have been through a lot Charlie. Immune systems are pretty vital eh and I say your doc is a very wise man to ban you from working. Just far too much of a risk eh. Gosh the R transfusions every 2months.

Glad you got your hair cut, fell better tidy eh.

Well I'm great thanks for asking. Have been very busy today, full on but fun. Went with my daughter, son inlaw, and 2 of my grandies, 6yr old and 18month year old in their boat out to TiriTiri Matangi Is. It's a beautiful nature reserve out in the gulf not far at all from where I live. Lots of native wild life including Kiwis but they are nocturnal so didn't see those of course. Going out there just so many cheeky, playful dolphins so close to the boat, madly showing off lol. Kids loved it. Then quite late home and now getting a meal prepared for tomorrow to cook away in crock pot. Oh heck, didn't mean to write a novel here. OK you take care Charlie, see you later

It’s the new vehicle curse lol. I got a new car recently. The past week, plumbing main line got clogged and backed up into the house. Freezer and fridge are trying desperately to die, himself’s been good keeping them limping along. Cable outage, their restart blew out my drop amplifier and modem. Finally got wifi and tv back up yesterday at 5:30. Put exhausted hubs in car at 6, drove 6 hours to Alabama to come take care of some stuff for my mom. Times like this, I wish very much to not be an only child lol. But, here’s my morning view... one tree changing fall colors (one more than I’ll see at home. No Fall down in the swamp).

Quick pop in to say hi.

Pops was feeling better the other day so i took him to the local plaza where they have a terrace and let him have some tapas that he likes so he could get some fresh air and get his head clear.

Anyway on our way back and going up the wheelchair ramp in our apartment building (he walks but the ramp is easier for him than the stairs) he slipped and was about to fall down.
I grabbed him but he is a well you know big guy like me,that and my back problems we went down...hard.
Tried to take the fall with me underneath so he wouldn't get hurt and yeah it did work but now i have a sprained shoulder, doc said it was moderate but that is atleast 4 to 6 weeks of limited mobility.

Apart from that the radio is going well, not as tired and only mild side effects for now.
Doc was a bit surprised of my blood results,he thought my numbers would be all over the place but i do take care of myself even thou i carry some extra weight.
No smoking or drinking,i use my wok a lot to cook so no fried or processed foods so my blood tests were impeccable.

Typed all this with one hand and it's taken me like 30 minutes but you guys are worth it.

Good news on the ''nurse'' front but the meds kicking in and i need to lay down a bit.

I will try to post later or tomorrow.

Hugs and best wishes to everyone :)
Yes rest and a good diet are so important. I sleep for at least 2 hours everyday and have done since coming home after the stem cell transplant. Great news that your bloods are ok but don't be too surprised if they take a dive sometime.

Sending good thoughts for a good recovery for both your shoulder and the radio

Must be the perfect evening watching the sunset there?
I take it the photo is Carli?
Our first dogs name was CarlY

The plan was vietnam but nothing concrete.
In fact, the whole plan centres around the fact that I do not live the life of adventure (my fault) but I want to. It will be the culture shock I need.
Thank you, I hope I do to
Sunrises only in the pic I posted. Sunsets here are over the city, blah. The dog in the photo is named Hogan. I don't know why we chose to spell Carli's name with an "I" versus a "Y". lol
Good luck if/when you go forward with moving to Vietnam. I'm certain wherever you end up there will be adventures waiting for you. :D

Awesome to hear your recovery and PT is coming along smoothly. Horseback riding is not at all easy on my lower back, for certain. I puddle muddle along. You know we will be expecting a video of you dancing. ;) And seeing your great outdoors photos!

Look what the postman brought me today !! How exciting is this ?? Now the question is which one do I try first ? Should I give all of them a test to make sure they work ?
Excellent vape mail!!! I would test them all just to make sure they work fine. :)
