I know it is a very southern thing. Here in Georgia folks are like "I got me a hankering for some cornbread and collard greens"
It is a whole different language in the southern parts of the US as opposed to the west coast. On the west coast we get a cart to go in the store and the southerners get a buggy. West Coast folks turn a knob or press a button to turn on air, lights, TV etc. Southerners just want to 'mash the button'
In Wisconsin we call a water fountain - a bubbler. "Where is the bubbler?"
Bubbler.jpg

As the story goes... a Kohler Water Works employee by the name of Harlan Huckleby designed the "Bubbler" in 1888. It was then patented by the company, which trademarked the name. While Kohler did eventually create a design called a bubbler in the 1920s, the term actually predates that style of water fountain.

Is the 12 step program over or is there anyone else that wants to share?
Seeing as you asked so nicely......

I never had an addiction problem with drugs or alcohol. I saw many alcoholics as a young kid across my extended family. Seen what it did to people and hated it. I haven't had a drop of alcohol since I was 24-25 ('84-'85).

Drugs... I did enjoy smoking my fair share of pot. My older brother and his friends turned me onto pot in '74 on our way to a Bowie concert. I still have a hit or two every now and then. And I enjoy! :D Weed these days is much stronger than the old days, far greater variety too.

I tried many many different drugs in my younger days. I did enjoy L-S-D and mushrooms. Even enjoyed the occasional toot of C. Never got into shooting up any drug. I had plenty of opportunities but always told myself "that's where I draw the line". I'll never forget when I was 16, my buddy and I were at his much older sisters place and they were all shooting up H. The older guys were trying to force H upon my buddy and I. His sister grabbed her sawed off shotgun and told them "back off or I will shoot". That ended that, lol. I never had cravings for any drugs like some do.

As far as collecting things go... Humans are "hunter gatherers". So we gather and collect stuff, whoopee. As far as vaping goes... I could drop out of that in a heartbeat if I chose to. Ever since my wife died I've been getting rid of stuff left and right. I am just about down to the very basics.

You and I have very different ideas on good weather. I'm not mentally ready yet to handle 28 degrees.
I never said I enjoy 28 degrees. I much prefer warm weather over winter cold, snow and ice. And I was very surprised when I stepped outside this morning. A hoodie was not gonna work so we went back in the house to get my winter coat and gloves. :)

I wish it was 28 degrees here now, but that probably has to do with the difference between fahrenheit and celcius.
Yes. 28 fahrenheit is -2 celcius. I would much prefer 28 celcius or 82 fahrenheit. :D

Funny because as much as I blow on the things I covet, I am pretty frugal too. My daughter, who thinks I am rich (and does not understand being comfortable and SAVING money) is always saying 'Mom I cannot believe you are still using the same old (broom, upstairs comforter, tea kettle, etc) from my childhood days. Why don't you buy yourself a new one?" And I, much like my dear departed Mom, answer with "why? this one still works"
I'm the same way with stuff. If something still works fine why would you need a new one? And I am the same way with vehicles. In 2004 we bought a 1995 Toyota Avalon XL from an old neighbor who lost his wife. It was her car and it only had 30k on it. My wife drove it here and there. We usually tooled around in my truck. When my wife died I sold the truck and kept the Avalon. It's still in excellent condition and I just turned 81k on it. :)

She has violated what we have here in the states called The HIPPA act. You might have something similar. I worked in mental health the last few years I worked and it is strictly forbidden not to guard against the patients privacy

I was thinking the same thing. Very sketchy behavior for a health professional.

Yep,we have something similar here in Spain.

Still trying to get my pops to get up but he it's like he has given up...it just kills me to see my pops like that.
He shouldn't go thru all this because of just one heartless person, just called a while ago my nurse ''friend'' and she said to lodge a formal complaint at both the hospitals she works at.

I will look into it on monday, today is movie night, going thru all 3 movies of LOTR,got snacks and a couple sodas (breaking the diet tonight)

Ill try to pop in tomorrow for a quick hello.

Cheers

    Morning shinies ;)

Haven't posted nothing in a while.
Things rough at home, cat is out of the bag and my pops knows about my condition.

There is this nurse who has a big mouth and is evil like really evil i mean, like a cross between Angela Chaning from Falcon Crest and Cruella de Vil.

I talked to all the nurses beforehand so they wouldn't say anything to my pops,(her included),but we saw her at the Hospital were my pops had to meet the doc and she blurted it out...she knew what she was doing, she had this evil grin on her face.

She actually has been sued twice, she freelances on her spare time as a caretaker for the elderly that need help but don't want to rely on the family.
Those elderly passed away and then the family discovered the she emptied their bank account and took all the valuable possessions like jewels and such.

Trust me this person is evil.

So anyway, pops isn't mad at me...he understands why i didn't tell him but now he is depressed.
Like really depressed, can't get him out of bed...he only get's up for his dialysis sessions and to use the bathroom...apart from that he is just in bed.

Aren't nurses and doctors supposed to care of the well being of patients? in a physical way but also in a mental way,you know a kind word here or some encouragement goes a long way,how could this nurse person be so evil.

Well anyway im dealing with this on top of my sprained shoulder and my radiotherapy appointments (almost halfway there thou) almost no side effects apart from being a bit tired.

Ok enough off topic, back to vaping.

Order from Fasttech is on it's way,a Pink Colossal (wink wink @Daniel Forsyth ) and a couple of cool looking pink themed drip tips.

The OFRF Gear RTA? wow that has been a pain, ordered from ecigwarehouse wiithout looking for reviews before placing the order and yeah....not good.
So that order is on dispute with paypal at the moment.

Had to use all my google searching prowess to find a OFRF Gear RTA in rainbow to go matchy matchy with the new Pink Colossal, luckily i found a shop in the UK that had one in stock.

From what i hear in reviews and such the OFRF is a little flavor banger, maybe that is why they are so hard to find.

Anyway not much more to tell, hope everyone is keeping safe and healthy.

    Cheers

Your Dad will be feeling completely overwhelmed, give him a bit of time to get his head around your condition

If you need another pink RTA rainbow RTA option, the clone of your Destiny RTA is in rainbow:
$8.68 Destiny Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 2/4ml / stainless steel / 24mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you’re enjoying the weekend.

I’m thinking of adding a sub ohm tank to my stash when building might be difficult. I currently have several vaporesso nrg tanks that came in kits. I also have a cascade and cascade baby se. these all use the awesome (imo) vaporessso gt coils which I have stocked for a lifetime lol!

I know that there are several sub ohm tanks that the gt coil is compatible with and yes I did check the compatibility list available. However, it’s not always up to date with the latest and greatest and some tanks could be left out.

Does anyone know if any Geekvape sub ohms can use the gt coils? Im not crazy about buying a Smok product like the Baby something or other. But any other newer sub ohm tanks that take the gt coils would be useful.

And just to stay on topic with a shiny - I loved the way Ultroner packaged the EOS II in a zippered hard cover case. It includes a buffing strip and cloth to polish the stabwood. When it’s sold under the Asmodus brand it comes in a very nice box of cardwood.

I have several of these EOS’s ll and they’re one of my favorite mods.

Geekvape tanks that can use GT coils are the Cerberus, Aero Mesh and the Shield tanks. Got that from here:
    Coil Heads Compatibility Chart

If you want another compatible DL tank, there's the Squid Industries Peacemaker v2 Tank:
