Happy Saturday, shinies <3

Today is all about 80's slasher films and blue cotton candy vapes. It's a pretty good Saturday.

Hey @charlie1465 , @AngeNZ, @ShowMeTwice I reckon the 510 is adjustable on the Mixx. What do you guys think? I want to spin my Dvarw around more so the air is more to the front. Before I buy a little socket wrench I thought I'd check your opinions. My needle nosed pliers don't fit

I still have a hit or two every now and then. And I enjoy! :D Weed these days is much stronger than the old days, far greater variety too.
I do not even think weed counts and I partake all the time, the edibles. Wishing it would become legal everywhere

I'm the same way with stuff. If something still works fine why would you need a new one? And I am the same way with vehicles. In 2004 we bought a 1995 Toyota Avalon XL from an old neighbor who lost his wife. It was her car and it only had 30k on it. My wife drove it here and there. We usually tooled around in my truck. When my wife died I sold the truck and kept the Avalon. It's still in excellent condition and I just turned 81k on it. :)
nothing like a Toyota. I traded in my 4runner at 281 miles for my pre-owned Toy Highlander. The Highlander got designated to the 'cat mobile" (hauling smelly cats to and from neutering when I bought the Mercedes. It is at about 129k miles and I will keep it until it dies and I figure I will probably go before it does.

Yep,we have something similar here in Spain.

Still trying to get my pops to get up but he it's like he has given up...it just kills me to see my pops like that.
He shouldn't go thru all this because of just one heartless person, just called a while ago my nurse ''friend'' and she said to lodge a formal complaint at both the hospitals she works at.

I will look into it on monday, today is movie night, going thru all 3 movies of LOTR,got snacks and a couple sodas (breaking the diet tonight)

Ill try to pop in tomorrow for a quick hello.

Cheers
I hope better days are ahead for you and your dad

Did you try a mod protector disc? If you have a squid DB you should have a couple. If not you can them in a hardware store.

Skinny oring is an immediate option.

If you do try you will need a T5 torx driver to remove the 3 screws holding the 510 assembly in place.

I just tried on mine. The 3 screws had a white substance on them. I popped an atty on the Mixx and tried to pull the 510 assembly out. No go. I didn't want to ruin mine so that's as far as I went. Has me thinking they may have glued the underside of the 510 assy to the body of the Mixx.

I would try 1 or 2 of the thinnest mod protectors, 0.5mm. On mine the DL FL sits with the AF at 4 o-clock when looking straight at the Fire button. With one 0.5mm mod protector the AF moved to 6 o-clock or directly inline with the Fire button. With two 0.5mm protectors it sits at 8 o-clock. Resistance stayed the same with the mod protectors as without.

I feel dumb, but what exactly are purposes of these? I've seen them other places too and never quite understood why people use them.
Protect the mods finish from the atty and offers a bit of protection from condensation/ leaking. Also useful for getting the af positioned in a certain direction.

I use the 0.5mm ones on just about every mod. Just like Leti said, they protect your mods finish + protects from leaking etc. If you have a nice finish on a mod and pop an atty on without a protector the atty can scratch the paint or dig into the paint. Ask me how I know.  Or put an atty swirl on a mods finish.
