As a huge bonus, instead of KA1 30/38 MTL clapton coils, they sent me ss316L 32*2/38 fused clapton coils - which were out of stock on their site. So I can use them in TC if I want.

The Efest luc v4 elite HD LCD charger is a HUGE upgrade of my old Luc v4. This site gives all the info:
Efest ELITE LUC V4 HD LCD 4 Bay Battery Charger - 18650 Battery Store
But the sleds are so much smoother, it beeps, it uses a touch bar button, it can charger AAA batteries, the screen gives you more info and best of all - my Samsung 40Ts fit in it easily

Where did you got the charger Ange? I think I need one so it will be good to know my options :)

I was looking at this one XTAR MC6C Charger and Nitecore New i4 Battery Charger but I am a noob in this matter. Helppppp :D

Kiwi vernacular. What they call "Dairies" you and I might call corner stores or convenience stores.

Can we get a confirmation please you K1s?

You got it @Pigs ;)

Happy birthday @Opinionated and many more :)

    I got it here:
Efest Elite LUC V4 HD LCD Charger - The Vape Shed

I go for mains powered, which your two are. It just comes down to how fast you want to charge your batteries.

0.5a is the best for battery longevity, but a 3000mah will take up to 6 hours. 2a means your battery won't last as long in terms of cycles but a 3000mah will charge in 90minutes. And 1a is in between those two.

    Xtar MC6C:
    Max speed: 1a x 3 or 0.5a x 6

    Nitecore new i4:
    Max speed: 1.5A x 1 / 0.75A x 2 / 0.5A x 2 / 0.375A x 4

    Efest elite luc v4 hd:
    Max speed: 2A x 2, 1A x 4, 0.5A x 4

And also check that they can handle 21700 batteries. The nitecore new i4 does, efest elite luc v4 HD does and I think the Xtar mc6c does too.

    Mr @Pigs

    dl25glass.jpg

    here's a Dvarw DL with a 25mm * 20mm glass tank.

When I was sticking it on, I noticed that the DL has a groove for the tank to sit in. Because it's designed for thin PC/PEI tubes, it's not going to fit a 24mm glass tank - like you discovered with using the DL FL glass seals.

From what I understand, glass has a thickness of 3mm. So our 25mm with its internal id of 22mm fits, but 24mm with an internal id of 21mm won't.

I've got an Eleaf Ello tank floating around somewhere which uses a 24.5mm * 20mm glass. That's my next glass to try.

There's tons of tanks that use 25mm * 20mm glass, and a few that use 24.5mm * 20mm. If you want to see if you have any of them, try this search:
    https://www.fasttech.com/category/3051/replacement-tanks#!/2=24_25|1=19_20|177=Replacement Tanks|p=1|s=r|ps=30|k=
On the left is the width and height values. I had to use 19-20mm to get it to search, so make sure your resulting tank's glass has a height of 20mm

Played with baby fused clapton coils this morning using:
    $3.39 Authentic Superfine 316L Stainless Steel Wire - 32*2/38 AWG / 0.2mm*2/0.1mm dia. / 10pcs/pack at FastTech - Free Shipping

    32_2 JKMini.jpeg

    ss316L 2.5mm id 32*2/38

This is in my JuggerKnot Mini RTA. It's slightly springy to work with, but doable. I added a half wrap for this postless deck. Vaping it, I only increased my wattage from 24.5w to 25.5w. I got absolutely no difference in heat from it.

The best thing was, it definitely gave better flavour than my previous 0.5*0.2mm flat wire coil.

Of course I then had to stick it in a Dvarw. As a DL FL had the oldest wick, I slapped it in there:
    dlfl-fused-316L.jpeg

    2.5mm id, using a 2*3mm AF insert.

This was a bit harder to install. While I tried to secure a leg, I had Luna playing tug of war with the opposite leg
Anyway I got it installed :D

Instead of my usual 22.5w for this deck, I upped it to 24.5watts (cloud chucker territory)

Vape-wise - big uptick in flavour, and a smidge warmer than my old 0.5*0.2mm coil.

Now all my Dvarws want baby fused clapton coils :grr:

    End result:
Fantastic wire. I've tried 30*2/40 and it was fantastic for flavour, but got way too hot for how I like to vape. I need to try this in an Axial RDA to get a true test of its ramp/cooldown, but I'll definitely be buying a reel or two.

Wait--are you saying our convenience or corner stores and New Zealand's dairies are known as cafés where you grew up?
Apologies, I should've explained better. I grew up in South Africa. We called the corner store Cafe (we pronounced it Cafy...Cafie).
Over here in NZ a Cafe is more of a restaurant.
It's the in thing here. They are everywhere, and the one is flashier than the next. I once heard Wellington (my home town) has (per capita) the most Cafes in the world...:D
