I'm not from the US but I'm English and it seems to me that 1st class is priority mail. It is the quickest (1st class) way of sending something in the UK except by courrier services.

It's a bit different first class is the standard package mail here even though it certainly sounds like it's something special doesn't it? LOL priority is the next step up and carries a level of insurance automatically. And then I believe there's overnight and maybe something else...

19 in 1980 I saw Rush in Toronto 3 or 4 New Years Eve in a row at the old Maple Leaf Gardens. Can't remember the years as well as a few other times, the last being their Roll the Bones tour. Saw the who twice on their final tour. They doubled back after a few months. Me and two girls in my Datsun 240Z, one laying in the back, twice

I was 16 in 1980 I wound up seeing Rush 11 times in 3 states. Musically those guys were always on another level. Never bowing to the radio pressure. Musician's musicians. It felt like I lost a distant relative when Peart died earlier this year.

How ya gonna put a towering masterpiece like this on the radio?

Will be interesting to see how good the machining is - the Squape authentic ( @ShowMeTwice can tell us yay or nay) looks to have some fine tolerances in the reviews I've watched. The combined juice flow/air flow control/chamber release will be the problem if there is one. Also hoping the fill port o rings are ok on the clone.

The tolerances on my authentic SQuape Arise are, how do I say this, Swiss tolerances. Which is to say the Arise is built like a very fine, and elegant, Swiss watch. Rotating the tank section, closing off juice flow, to get to the deck is easy. Perfect tolerances IMO. Nothing is too tight and nothing is on the loose side. All o-ring tolerances are perfect.

The combined juice flow/airflow control/chamber release work flawlessly. I've vaped 80vg/20pg, 70/30 and 50/50 DIY juices in it and have had zero issues. I've had the JFC wide open with each of those and not had any problems. I even took the JFC down to a trickle and had no dry hits.

Filling the tank section is a breeze. Close off the juice flow by rotating the tank section to the "0" position. Then simply rotate the top cap and fill.

One bit of advice I would offer is to start your coil position lower than you would think, or normally go, with a bottom AF design. 1.5mm above the AF give or take a bit. I knew that before my Arise arrived as one of the folks at StattQualm suggested that to me in an email exchange. In the Squape FB group, and on other sites, people complained about a "strong throat hit". Easily resolved by lowering the coil. Easy to do as well, even with an installed coil and wick in-place.

For those who like a strong throat hit positioning your coil, 2mm give or take, above the AF will totally do the trick. I've tried several coil positions.

Coiling and wicking on the Arise are super easy and a breeze. And that is why I would recommend the Arise to anyone brand new to building an RTA. You are not going to find one this easy IMO. And that comes from years of experience building on Kayfun's. As @Opinionated said here not long ago "once you learn to build on a Kayfun you can build any RTA around". I wholeheartedly agree, I learned on an old Kayfun lite.

IMHO, the Arise is without any doubt in my mind superior, in every way, to many RTA's I own and love. Y'all know how I love my Kayfun's. One month and a few days in, the Arise has removed the mighty Kayfun's from their throne. And that is no easy task. Top spot, easily.

But I was born in the late 80s sooo i didn't actually experience them but i really like those times when I see pics or movies i feel nostalgic in the same way as I feel about the 90s that was actually my decate of growing up...sooo I think it was awesome

I only missed about 4 dozen pages while I was oot lol, so again I’m just guessing. I understand what he says fine, but I’ve been hanging around Cajuns for over 30 years. The “gravel” makes it harder if you’re not used to the dialect. I love seeing what the closed captions interpret it as though! Google interviews his mom has given... you’ll see where that voice came from.

Cool. I wanted to try the 3 hole air disc and this was a good time to do that. Here are some photo's. Not sure what views you were after so you're getting a few.


Side view, to show coil height. It's at 1.5mm above the AF. Also I install my coil legs up to make raising and lowering the coil easy. Legs up = counterclockwise. (Or anti-clockwise for Ange ).

Another tip, slop some VG, or juice, on the deck o-ring. That will make rotating the tank section for a refill or to get to the build deck easy.


Spaced 26/36 316L clapton at 0.45Ω


Mavaton's Select cotton tucked into the wells. I trim the tails to the edge of the deck. I used Tidi rayon last and I do like switching off.


Wick juiced up and ready to roll.

Arise on the Mono SQ DNA 75C and vaping nicely.
