Oooh, what job can I have at vape Island™?

Yoga instructor?
Lifeguard?
Cabana Boy?
Since you volunteered all three of those jobs are yours. I have no idea what a Cabana Boy even does. Climbs trees for bananas? Mixes drinks and fetches DIY juice at miraculous speed? You'll figure it out.

I think it really boils down to the battery. Everyone that I've talked to that has the mod uses something other than a 30T.. I think it'll probably loosen over time. But that piece of plastic that it's catching on is probably going to remain a problem.

My husband gave it a go and he could not exert enough force to get the battery out either without tearing it up...he suggested that I insert a screwdriver and lift it up I think I'm going to pass. I did file down parts of it (mod) on the positive side this is the result which is significantly better then before but still not great. I'm buying some new batteries today And maybe a different 21700 mod.

You know I was negligent and I did not mention that if anyone has a battery that looks anything like this do not use it. Just in case there's someone new looking at this that doesn't know this battery cannot be used in this state. It absolutely has to be rewrapped and if the insulator is damaged or curled or anything it also needs to be replaced. This was not being used but rather as a tester to see if the wrap would still snag as I sanded down the part that it's catching on..

So don't use a battery that looks like this ever it could cause a hard short catastrophic failure of your battery battery run away and could become a little pipe bomb

You're on!!! I'm hoping we can get Pigs to handle the mixing and just maybe the lights. Fireworks optional.
I'll do the sound if you and Charlie are in the band. Delores on fiddle of course.
No way am I doing lights though. What am I an octopus?

Pigs, it's called multitasking. You'll be fine besides the lights can be pre programmed and will run via MIDI synced to your board. You simply need to press "play" in ProTools. :D And of course I will be in the band. Charlie and Delores will too. We need a drummer and not one who thinks he/she is Bonham. ;)

I'd offer to help with the band. But with my Cabana Boy duties, I think my schedule would be pretty full.

No way. We need improvisation. I'm thinking Luna can handle the lights. Daphne might want to look after the band's wardrobe - we know her tasteful dress sense.

It was the best CS I've ever seen from a vape company. The boss made the decision fast, acted fast and totally fixed the issue. Keep in mind these guys are in another state from me and the whole thing was resolved in 2 days with me vaping happily away right now.

If this was a Chinese retailer I may have paid a little less (or maybe not) but I wouldn't see a replacement for many weeks and would have had to jump through all sorts of hoops to get the process started. A good lesson for me.

I'm so glad this one is a peach  No. 1 question from me is.....

Is the airflow with a bridge more open or more restricted than on a BB?

    Great question.
In my first lemon version the AF wide open was more restricted than a BB. It must have been blocked or something because my new one has the same amount of air fully open as a BB but smoother.

It's one of those af controls that completely blocks off the air when it's closed. None gets in through gaps or anything. You can make very fine adjustments from wide open to fully closed.
I'd say the af on the Abyss is one of it's big positives.

Wish they would have included the SbS parts with the Abyss. I know they're marketing it as an AIO with the various options. I was mainly interested in it as a SbS. But that could change, maybe.

@Pigs do you know if Atmizoo's VapeSnail or DotShell would work in the Abyss?

Just tried getting to Atmizoo's website, fail. Tried in FF and Safari on my Mac. Also tried on my phone. They must be down for maintenance or something. Can you try Atmizoo?

Well just had to pay a 25.00 import fee for the 2nd order of jks. Be aware if using ups they are holding packages for fda approval according to my experience with this order. Luckily the package will be delivered now that they have their cut. Ordering from China only going forward if vendor won't use an alternate return address/warehouse like China does. Kinda bummed but still glad I have enough jks to last a lifetime or close to it.

Just got confirmation from ups that they will deliver; supposed to be here by the 9th.

Ava, that's the same exact problem some people have had with the Collosal's.
Use a credit card or an old hotel key to get out. Next time you put the battery in place a bit of ribbon underneath it first.

My :2c:. It shouldn't be happening. I have one Colossal and have the same problem. It's a design flaw, IMHO. Batteries are dangerous things--they store energy and that energy is always trying to find its way out. The process of inserting and removing batteries from your mod should be smooth, safe and easy to perform by any user.

    Rant over. Hello, Shinies! :)
