Nice, but I put the 2.0 airflow in. Too tight. Maybe need to thin the tails a bit too.

    Somewhere between here and there
I got home tonight and another review sample in the mailbox. It’s the VapX Art. I’m really curious about this one so it should be fun to try. Everything I’ve tried from VapX so far has been great.

Cotton Bacon is good, but I tend to waste a lot of cotton when making the wick, so it was not super economical. Native Wicks is probably my favorite "premium" cotton, it was much easier for me to find the right thickness. But you get a lot more for your money with this 13 feets stuff.
13 Feets is the cotton @Letitia recommended to me from Amazon. I really like it. Very fast wicking and so cheap. Bugger all break in time too. My fav ever has been Team vape Labs but am really keen to try the Mavaton that Rob Fisher, SMT and Charlie use.

Mavaton is good. I had a small amount sent to me awhile back. I can see why it's popular.

Just a heads-up : River Supply is closing their doors this coming Monday. I have placed more orders with them, and shockingly, they got them fulfilled and shipped out the next day. Yes, 50% off is great for us in the short term but it's sad that another company is closing it's doors as a victim of our Government's attempt to kill vaping.

They are not closing their doors. They are just not selling to the public anymore. They will still be providing Nic and flavors via wholesale to vendors

Yes, but to the individual DIYer, which is who I was addressing, they will be closed. Maybe it was wrong to assume there were no vendors on this thread?

I am not a vendor just thought it needed clarifying that the company was still in existence.

Any tips on building the Ataman, Charlie? I haven't even taken mine apart yet, but I'd just as soon know about any quirks beforehand.
I've been using both the Ataman and Achilles for a couple of years now. Very impressed with both...super easy to use and very flavorful. Both have the same deck and the most important thing is the coil height above the air inlet. You'll have to play around with that to get your best flavor and throat hit. I learnt that from the Ukrainian's (that makes them) website. As Charlie said...thin coil tails is best.
