Cleaned the atty, put the coil and wicked it,put it all together and then it came time to fill the tank up i see this:

View attachment 943407

Like a plastic covering EVERYTHING...no kidney hole to fill her up just a slight gap where it takes ages to fill the tank,it actually is supposed to look like this:

View attachment 943409

Odd...watched like 3 reviews and looked up a ton of pics and in none of them the atty looked like mine.
I have no holes to put the juice in...am i supposed to take that plastic thingy off?
Looks like it....pull it off and have a gander.....don't break it :)

I'm going to look into this and the Ursa Quest. I'm far too thrifty as of right now to be spending on DNA chips, lol. YiHi is about as high as I can go for now, and pretty much only when it's on sale or stuck in a mod by some secondary company. I really, really, really like the MX class. Can't wait for the T Class and the Vsticking mod to show up. I think they'll be part of the normal rotation.

I love when they do illustrations of the wick like this:

What wick looks like that after you snip the ends, lol. It looks like a wet noodle.

Also, ngl. This RBA looks pretty badass for a pod.

I one of the SX mods. I think it's called the SL class but I'm not sure. I am testing an SXmini SX Nano right now and am really liking it. I think they go for 40-50. It feels well built and has pretty darn good flavor in my opinion. I haven't been able to find spare coils in stock for it yet.

Is this the one that auto-squonks?

Yes, it took little getting used to because it auto squonks while you're pressing the button vaping. It's not like you press it to squonk and then take a puff. The little motor is running while you're vaping. It's only 900mah but the battery is lasting pretty good so far. I've gone through about 4ml so far and there's still battery life left.

I was thinking about marking my batt's the other day as well. I got a whole boat load of Molicel P28A's not long ago and now I have a boat load of P26A's coming as well. Don't want to be getting those 2 intermingled.

    Ok crisis averted:

Fully visible filling ports and this right here is the sucker to blame for my headache:

They emailed back right away, told me to take that off...it did take me a bit since that sucker was well nudged in...and it's plastic plastic, like real rigid.

But to be honest this is just a dampening of ones mood,i mean you're all happy because you getting an atty and you have to deal with this?

Haven't seen one single reference of this ANYWHERE,no reviewers...no videos,no pics and nothing in the instruction manual of said atomizer.

That right there is poor thinking,i am not an engineer so i do not know if said plastic thingy serves a purpose but for arguement sake let's say it does server a purpose.

How is someone supposed to deal with this, you open the cap and you have no idea what is going on.
No videos mention it,nothing on the website, nothing in the instructions...zero, zip, zilch, nada.

I am not one to whine about minutia but yeah i am sending a complaint email to VandyVape to let them know this is BS.
Oh and just in case it was a ''TPD'' thing (tanks of no more than 2ml in the EU) i did look up some Spanish reviews and in not one of them did i see this mentioned.

Meh...now i just want to smash the damn thing or just put it in the box and forget it even exists.

It's definitely a TPD plug, and you aren't the only one who struggled with it:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/Vaping101/comments/jn7elk/need_help_with_kylin_mini_2_rta/
I prefer to read reviews rather than watch them. But those European reviews you watched should have made mention of this. They may've all received standard versions for review - but even so, they would know a 3ml straight glass RTA must have a plug in it somewhere to be compliant.

Don't smash it, vape it

Thought I'd mention it here, but after 6 months of waiting I went to the pain clinic today for the injections.

It went well, and I'm doing alright so far... I like the doctor.

In the next day or two I'll start back up with PT, and we will see how it goes! I'm tentatively optimistic!

Went back to roundwire today (centred it after the photo!). KFL Plus 2021 SS316L 24G 2.5mm

I love a simple round coil...Why you using 24G mate?
I started off on 28G. Heats up fast but it's flimsy. I settled on 26G. I have some 24G st st and been wanting to use it forever, but it's heat capacity is through the roof on Steam Engine...:w00t:

Aren't those MTL RTAs? I didn't know 24G worked well for MTL. I thought it had to be thinner wire.

I'm no expert in MTL. In fact I frankenvape the opposite to @AngeNZ - I direct lung with the 1.8mm af of the KFL 21. Like super restricted DL. Anyway the 24 G is working fine so far.

I guess it's because 24G was my go to back in the day before you could get spools of complex wire. I've got some 26 and 27G of various materials too so I might try a 26G build next.

Took a pic with better lightning:

    View attachment 943413

I can unscrew the top part as well as the bottom,it all works well but where the fill ports ''should be'' i got this black plastic ring...watched 3 more videos and a ton of pics and none of them look like mine.

    Different shop ;)
It will get better. Try and see where the kidneys should be and cut a slit in it.
