WOW that's nasty. I didn't realise Ohio is that high up. Those lakes are huge. Have a bonsai buddy (on the forum) from Michigan that posts his boating photos regularly. Monster scary waves out there when the wind whips up.
Erie is the most shallow of them, and it doesn’t take much to whip it into a frenzy. I think in ‘my side’ it’s only about 60’ deep, and they reported waves of 15’. The marinas looked like Godzilla had paid a visit. Nobody was hurt that I’ve heard. People like to talk about tornadoes, but those north winds can be just as scary, especially by the lake.

Only one adult signature? How are you supposed to stock up like that?
I think they were simply letting me know that it's new. I'm pretty sure I can purchase another 35 of them again if I'd like - I suppose it just depends on how much printer paper they have in stock. XD

Good morning. Working on yet another review. More rain this morning. After all it has only rained 14 of the last 16 days. I’m sure we need it.

I just got an email from someone at sourcemore asking if I’d like to review for them. I said I already do. Lol. I wonder if they’re giving their employees a bonus for collecting reviewers or something.

Well that makes sense. But they could’ve offered a free sample on the first one. So you can see how it handles the corners.

Well I’m going to try again with that Abyss. The battery I had in it, that I red X’d, charged alright so I’ll pop it in a Dot and see how it lasts.

I figured the Dot would be the closest set up I have on hand and use enough to know how it should function.

It still takes me five tries to get that top on so if anyone has any pointers...

I really want to have a good relationship with this thing - and I love the ether.

There's no doubt the battery cover is a clunky design but you'll get the hang of it.
Make sure the mod is on a table top and upright, then set the battery cover at right angles to the mod, put gentle pressure on the battery side, and holding it flat, swivel it across to snap in place over the tank. It's kind of one motion.
Use your other hand to hold the tank down on its spring-loaded contact.

Question : when your battery wraps get snagged and damaged, do you guys rewrap them, or just toss the battery and buy new ones?
Depends on the age of the battery. If its older I just cover the tear with tape and recycle. If newer I rewrap.

I want to rewrap my sketchy batteries but I’m intimidated with the idea of rewrapping. I’m thinking my skin will complete the circuit and the battery will blow up. Is rewrapping safe? The battery won’t blow up on me?
