That’s with light vaping - that time of day I’m kind of busy. I would generally expect to see it down to around -30% after supper, if I’d put the battery in first thing in the morning, as I normally do. So closer to 9-10 hours.

And no, haven’t tried with the 21700 yet, I wanted to see if it was just that one 18650 or if I could repeat the results with another one.
Ever since you first posted about this I've been keeping an eye on mine. I'd say with comparable builds/wattage, the Abyss does use up more battery than a Mixx, a Supbox or a BB (clone - sevo 70 board), but not much. Not 30% more in my case.

We need @AngeNZ to buy one so she can do some scientific experiments in her vape lair.

How did you learn to do it? YouTube?
It's been so long, plus I've changed it up a bit ;)
I'm terrified of electricity and I manage fine. I use a hair blowdryer for my heat source.
    Same here.
I always start at the top now.
That heat can really burn your finger. I do it at/on my kitchen table with a blowdryer and a fork. I hold the battery in my fingertips and start at the top, till it starts to curl enough to hold the insulator in place. Then with the battery close to me (but laying flat on the table), I put a fork behind it. start blowdryer aimed at the battery. The fork you move away from you so it acts as a stop from rolling too fast. After a couple passes like that I hold the middle of the battery, and finish up the top and the bottom. Never had a crease. Never had to do over.

    Some nice toys there Fred!
I've been to and froing on the Lost Vape Quest, it's coils and RBA to. Decided against it....it's beautiful but a bit hefty for me. Good for sending cloud signals though :p
Very proud of the new me to...i'm actually sticking to thinking things through properly before I buy. I feel like i'm only buying what I need...not what I want :D
Why do I feel like i'm not fitting in anymore...

I bought two of the original Grus and then got an Ursa. The Grus have gone to storage and I bought two more Ursa kits as well as rbas and extra pods.

There's no doubt the battery cover is a clunky design but you'll get the hang of it.
Make sure the mod is on a table top and upright, then set the battery cover at right angles to the mod, put gentle pressure on the battery side, and holding it flat, swivel it across to snap in place over the tank. It's kind of one motion.

The College, also from Dovpo, also rather good, has a similar battery cover and requires the same technique. Appears to be a house design. Just takes a little getting used to though it's worse on some batteries that are slightly longer than on shorter ones. The problem is that whatever they're using for a spring has very little throw.

Quick question about the Dvarw DL from Fasttech.

Was just rechecking my cart with the items i got ready for the discount on the 2nd of June, getting this Dvarw:

    https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...rw-dl-v3-styled-rta-rebuildable-tank-atomizer

Maybe i am mistaken but wasn't there something else i had to get, think there was something to make it a top fill or was that another atty?

Memory busted these days, between my allergy meds (allergy season here) and the fact that i can't seem to get a decent night of sleep my brain is working at a mere 5%...

In case i am right with the top fill part this is the one i should be getting right?

    https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...acement-tank-kit-for-dvarw-dl-v3-rta-atomizer

Dang just realised 2 things, almost 3 am and i am driving my pops to Dialysis at 7 am and in 10 days it will be my b-day...time just seems to go by so quickly, monotonous and dreary and i am going to be one year older.

Can't say 40 something anymore...once you pass the 45 year old mark you closer to 50 which is not cool...

Going to catch atleast a couple hours of ZZZzzz's,cya folks later

Welp guess its a good thing its hard to get vape stuff, we will officially be broke for the next few years lmao.
Bought a camper today, got to pick it up Friday morning.
We have been sorely disappointed with hotels, especially since the pandemic. We will save alot of money in the long run on campgrounds.
Payments are cheap(ish) but the lack of supplies is gonna break me for the near future.
Been well a couple decades since i camped so our first excursion next month may be rather like robin williams in rv.

@Fredman1 I got that Steam Tuners top fill clone except in the Ultem version. It’s well made but I haven’t figured out how to deal with its finicky demands yet. Wicking will be different. You DON’T do the Exocet method with your wicks; they have to stay in the chimney. I didn’t see videos of how the original works so I installed it wrong. You keep the original V3 chimney barrel then you put it’s chimney over the V3’s barrel. I’m still dealing with it’s finickyness. I’ve had two tank dumps so I’ve put it aside for a day when I’ll have more patience and focus. @Pigs knows how to get it going I think.

    <==========shinypodmoditis :facepalm:

I'd happily get an Ursa just to use it as a 21700 mod. If anyone's using the RBA, what's the flavour like?

Sorry mate, but I still call it 40 something even though I'm 47, I think. And I'm still waiting until I feel like an actual grownup :D
You got the right top-fill kit, get Dvarwing!

I hope it gets there fast. I'm looking forward to what you think of the Jackaroo 70w. Especially the RDTA pod deck, I like the look of the deck:
    jackaroo-podkit-deck.jpg

    authentic-vandy-vape-jackaroo-pod-kit-replacement-diy-rba-pod-cartridge-45ml-1-pc.jpg

VERY nice looking deck especially for a pod. Nice bottom and side airflow. Large trap screws and teeth on those posts. Very impressive.
