    Somewhere between here and there
Since my podmod craze, which is thankfully abating,
I've had one unexpected benefit. I'm rewicking my Dvarws a lot less. It used to be every 2-3 days, now it's every 4-5 days. And I'm vaping them the same amount of time.

The only difference is when I come inside and need nicotine and need it now! I grab a Kroma Z or an Aegis Plus, and chain vape RDL until I'm human again or head spinny (same strength juice I usually MTL).

And @hittman and @bigbob2322 I finally tried the 0.4ohm coil in Aegis Boost Plus. The 0.6 was good flavour, just a tad too restricted. The 0.4 has much, much better flavour and smoothness wide-open. I'm going to need more of them

I like the .4 also. I have a few boxes of coils but never really stocked up on them.

Bob just reviewed what I think is a really good flavor producing mtl rta the Vertex mtl. I’ve had a couple for a while and get flavor notes with it that I don’t get from other tanks. I don’t mtl a lot but really like this one.

They look quite good but you still have to plug the unit into the device though....??
Two benefits - one is you don't loosen or damage the female end of the USB on the mod by lots of plugging/un-plugging.
The other is that if you're clumsy like me and trip over cables, the magnetic connections will just separate and not tear a cable or send a mod flying.

But that means you have to leave it in the mod all the time....or am I missing something. I've seen them before so didn't look at your link.

    Morning all!
Day 4 of the fence install. We had a couple of hiccups, trying to get the town to mark utilities, and the truck hauling my chain link broke down. Otherwise it’s going okay. About 3/4 of the posts are set - that’s the time consuming part - and they should be able to finish those off today if the rain holds out. The weather is calling for rain every day for the foreseeable future but I hope they’re wrong, or at least it’s just scattered showers. Their bobcat is tearing my yard to smithereens and I hate to think what damage it would do if the ground was soaking wet. But mostly I just want this over with so poor Georgia can have a good run.

Hello from Atlanta Ga. Wishing everyone a great day. Hit a deer couple nights ago. Not too much damage, but I’ll have to visit the body shop in a month or two.

You’re alright though? That’s the important part.

    Poor deer though....
Yeah someone already had hit it. It was in the middle of the interstate and although I tried couldn’t miss it. Luckily for me if it had been up and alive it would’ve done much more damage to my truck

Will do. So far I haven't had any dry hits or leaking with either. The flavour I'm getting from the Mobb (in a Boro/Boxx) tops the Ether the way I have them setup. Both using little Ni80 fused claptons around 0.5 Ohms at around 25W. 3mm ID in the Ether and 2.5 in the Mobb. I'll try 2.5 in both in the Abyss tank to get a better comparison.

Cool. Thanks! For elevating the knowledge of the vaping community, you sir, have earned three boxes of Girls Scout cookies. :headbang:

Yes, but the little gizmo that stays in the mod is pretty unobtrusive. Well worth sparing the port.

It's 2.0 but probably better to keep it slightly above that. A battery that goes to zero is dead anyway and it's very unlikely you'll be able to get it back to full charge....that's if you're stupid enough to test these things....as I am
The Li‑ion can be discharged to 3V and lower; however, with a discharge to 3.3V (at room temperature), about 92–98% of the capacity is used.

Most of our regulated mods will cutoff at ~3.2V. They won't allow a user to go below what is considered "safe".

Out of curiosity how did you test safely going down to 2V?

Worth noting... Lithium-ion batteries, in most cases must maintain a voltage above 2.5V before they start to break down and decompose. Going below 2.5V can create a very dangerous situation. How to store 18650 batteries safely

Most mobile phones, laptops and other portable devices turn off when the lithium-ion battery reaches 3.00V/cell on discharge. At this point the battery has about 5 percent capacity left. Manufacturers choose this voltage threshold to preserve some energy for housekeeping, as well as to reduce battery stress and allow for some self-discharge if the battery is not immediately recharged. This grace period in empty state can last several months until self-discharge lowers the voltage of Li-ion to about 2.50V/cell, at which point the protection circuit opens and most packs become unserviceable with a regular charger. BU-802c: How Low can a Battery be Discharged?

That ^^^ article explains why our regulated mods cutoff at a specific voltage. It's for our safety.

    Morning shinies ;)

My latest FT order which contains screws, wire, o-rings and drip tips has found NZ. Guess what I'm the most excited about?! :D
    The screws?

    Perhaps the wire?

Can't be the drip tips. :?:

Luna will finally have something to shred. Shiny Shredding Luna!
