The DM1 coil is rated for 60-80 watts so I think running at 50 should be fine. I tend to run stock coils a little lower myself. I did a combo review on the Drag X and S pro kits here. Have you gone through multiple boxes of coils already? Every once in a while I hear about bad batches of coils from different manufacturers. Could you have gotten a bad batch?

Ah amazing I will have a read through that later on! I’ve literally gone through about 4/5 packs now of 3! 2 have not worked at all, a red sign came up on the screen, so they were faulty! I actually cleaned my coil this morning though and it’s working amazing again so may have found a solution lol! Saves some money! Thank you for all your help! :) x

Okay. The best bang for your buck is going to come straight from China. Unfortunately that's like a 2-4 week wait however, it'll be well worth the wait if you're on a budget.

This is the best deal I can find as a full kit that's within your price range and vapes Direct Lung. Unfortunately with S&H, it'll probably cost a little bit more than what you've budgeted.

Geek Vape Aegis X w/ Zeus Tank

There are cheaper options, but nothing I've seen that will be nearly as rugged that also puts out great flavor.
Amazing thank you! I will check them out in abit! Thank you for helping! :) x

    Morning shinies ;)

When you stick in a new coil that keeps shorting, and try a disassembley along with coil no. 2:

Not super exciting but I got the Oxva Velocity LE for review. It’s fairly small for a 21700 mod.

I bought one of these a long time ago, and I think this is one of my favorite pod devices along with the Aegis Boost Pro (at the time)/Aegis Boost Pro Max, and FreeMaX Marvos'. Coils vape super smooth and put out great flavor. The pod also holds much more juice than it looks.

Is there a sub forum for pod mods? I haven’t looked far except to the new members forum. I wasn’t in the mood to do a search about shinys. The thread seems to be getting away from the main focus of this thread as it was understoodw. Now there’s nothing but pods pods, pods, pods, and more pods when most of these questions could be answered on a dedicated pod forum. Not for nothing but Seems like a lot of the questions lately are about pods

I come here to this forum to be entertained and learn new stuff about box mod devices and their accoutrements not aio pods. I umnsdrestand the desire to inform pod owners of issues and pontmthem in the right direction which is admirable but what ever happened to dating on topic? I still s think a dedicated pod forum would be helpful to meet and older users. W
    Feeling grumpy.

Be sure to thoroughly test out the 510 adapter. Both of the Velocities I used and have tested have been on the weaker side for performance. The mods will still do the job for the most part, but they're definitely not hitting 100W like they're advertised - more like 70W after factoring in efficiency.

Dear Grumpy One, take a chill pill or 12.

Seriously???  What is your understanding???

Here is the first post by jfcooley...
Want that new gear, but have 1000 other mods you haven't used yet?

Looks great on paper but just not sure.

So, well let's talk about it.
We can talk you out of it, or into it if that's you're need. We can save money or spend yours.
It is crystal clear that his post covers all vapers and all vaping gear. No???

pods pods, pods, pods, and more pods
Thought you might like to know... pods have been very popular for quite some time. Last time I checked... pods are every bit a Shiny as any stab wood mod.

what ever happened to dating on topic?
Pods are shiny's... and therefore on topic.

HAHA. I hear you my sister. I chuckled when I read this first thing this morning. I feel grumpy about this thread when all they do is talk about stuff I do not have, lol. Then I have to remind myself that it is the "Shinyitis" thread and is geared towards the buying of all new things. That is not PODS for me, and obviously not for you, but it does seem to be the direction the vaping community is going. I say this as I rock my usual two double battery mods set at 60 ish watts with full sized tanks on them. My opinion is a POD is a POD and only for out and about. I can rock one for about an hour but then go in search of a "bigger gun". But, I am probably one of the more senior peeps in here and my writings probably reflect that. lol

Just spotted this sale as well, which would debatably be a better choice than the Aegis X kit simply because of the quality in the GTi coils for the iTank.

    Vaporesso Gen 200 Kit - $34.59
I have a couple of these and love them. But they are using external batterires. Not sure the OP wants that

Were the ones you tested the new LE version? I don’t run anything at 100 watts and don’t have a test jig to do in depth performance tests. What is the setup you’re using? I don’t know if I’d be comfortable publishing information like that unless all my test equipment had been calibrated by a test lab.

As far as the pod discussion goes, I use both. I use a pod for a pocket carry at work and mods and tanks in the car and at home. I feel like each has its use. Right now pods are flooding the market as you can tell if you follow the reviews section. I don’t feel like pods or pod mods should be banned from this thread. However, I am fairly new to this thread and would like to hear what the senior members think. Also, there are pod mods that go up to 200 watts like the Freemax Maxus so pods aren’t all low output sticks. The Velocity that Z-Lee and I are talking about comes with a 510 connection plate so it’s a mod as well as a pod mod.

I enjoy seeing the photos and reading about whatever new gear, or old gear, people post here. If they're happy... I'm happy for them.

Also enjoy reading folks experiences with gear... be they good, bad... or perhaps indifferent.

Hmmm, also love seeing cows and other critters too. And hearing about folks lives.

And in a nutshell... that's what this thread has been... for years.

No mods, tanks or RBA's are ever banned from this thread. Never. All are welcome here. We do not discriminate. Cottons, rayon, drop-in coils, coil p0rn, flavors, nic and the like have also been a huge part of the thread.

Pods and pod mods have a rock solid place in the vaping industry. The manufacturers know what is selling most and they meet those demands. Simple.

I never tried a pod or pod mod, if I do... I know full well who to ask for what is an excellent and highly recommended device. You, @bigbob2322 (happy belated bday!!! :bday:) and @Z-Lee. :thumb:

All folks and whatever mods they love have always been Very Welcome in the Shiny thread AND they will continue to be!!!

    Hello everyone,
I have the VooPoo DragS Pro!
Was previously using the SmokStick80w, which I nicked off my mum, and got me into vaping!
Used that for 3 or so months, managed to cut right down smoking cigs and only had to change the coil 3 times!
However, I’ve had the VooPoo for about 2 months, and I’m literally having to change the coil every 2-3 days?! Either tasting burnt, or flavour disappears?! I must be doing something wrong surley?!

I prime the coils, always wait 10 mins before first pull.
Also the liquid keeps going brown?! I used seriously soda 70/30 atm?!
Sooo confused and can’t keep spending so much on coils, considering going buying another Smok
The VooPoo is soo good when it’s a fresh coil, but after a few hours it’s jsut crap

    Someone please help lol! X
Either your watts are too high and or your juice has a lot of sweetener. I will say if you are hooked on sweet juices rebuildables is about the only option for saving a lot of money. I would suggest trying a vaperesso gti tank; my sweet tooth hit and I got 3 great weeks and another week of still good flavor out of the 0.4 coil.
Honestly if you stick to single coil builds going the RTA route isn't nearly as intimidating as it seems; especially if you choose a top air tank starting out. We would all be happy to help you out with tips & tricks.
