Hiya folks.

So many posts missed and so little time.
Been busy doing the prep for all the tests my pops needs to get on the transplant list....again,so yeah between that, shopping for food, pharmacy trips, chores, cleaning, cooking and doing reviews i don't have that much time.

The steam crave Meson rta i am waiting for from Sourcemore still hasn't left China,so yeah i got a long wait,at least 10 days or more.

Gotta admit i kinda want to get my hands on it and see how it goes, been ages since i used an RTA.

By the way,any recommendations on the type/size of coil i should be using?
You know me,usually between 0.20 ohms to 0.30'ish ohms and low wattage (30 to 40'ish watts),don't like warm vapes so any recommendations would be appreciated.

Well anyway, finishing up on some stuff and I'm off to bed, pops getting a electrocardiogram tomorrow so i gotta be up early.

Love y'all and hope you have a nice day :)

The user manual recommends a 2.5mm coil. I wound one using 316l Clapton wire and it came out to .44.

Tricore ss 2.5mm 6 wraps will keep you in the 23-30w range 0.3-0.33, 5 wraps will be lower in resistance but still within your preferred range. Ni80 or Ni90 same diameter and wraps will keep you close but may need a tad more wattage.

@AngeNZ and @hittman and anyone else who's had a Stubby for a while now - I'm interested in performance or any quirks etc.
Also how's the finish holding up and how's battery life?
I haven’t seen any issues with the paint. I’ve only used the stubby tank since I got it and it’s easy to build and flavor is pretty good in my opinion. As far as battery life goes it seems fine for an 18650 mod. I’m running a .35 ohm ni80 Clapton coil. I don’t use any one mod all day and switch frequently so it’s a little hard to judge battery life. The only complaint I had was with solid panels you can’t see or access the screen or settings without removing the panel. Same goes with the Tank panel. I bought a set of Mk panels which solved that. For as much as they cost it would have been nice to include a second set of panels.

    good morning folks,
No special plans here, maybe a vape mail will come.
And maybe there will be refills for my Pilot G2 gel pens.
I monitor a Norwegian website that has dotaio rba's, waiting for them to lower the price significantly.

Good morning shiny people. I'm still enjoying the Voltrove rta. I want to get it cleaned tonight and put a different mix in it. So far I've been running blackberry crumble in it. It's good but different from the same liquid in an iTank.

    Morning shinies ;)

No problems at all with the finish. I'm clumsy and really wanted to put mine away since it's a limited edition. But mods are made for using and it's been well used daily since I got it. It's held up perfectly - one of the best finishes with regards to scratches and dents.

The only quirk is condensation when I chain vape, but that's the same as in my Bxr and Boxx. Oh and you have to do the 5 clicks on and off really really fast!

Battery life is awesome - I think it goes down to 3.4v but I might be wrong. I usually pull it just before it goes flat. As for performance - no difference with how it hits compared to my other bb's.

It's a brilliant device and I want a second, or third. I'm waiting for the money tree to grow.

HealthCabin just announced that they'll be allowing pre-orders for some products. Funny how we were just talking about that.

HC also just announced they're accepting Tether (a stablecoin, a type of cryptocurrency).

As governments and financial companies tighten the vaping noose I would not be surprised to see more online vape stores moving to cryptocurrency.

    Cheers,thanks for the info.

Still a long wait until it gets here but I'll keep my eyes out for any good coils on sale of those characteristics that you both mentioned.

My computer guy has finally made the switch from pods (MTL) to a mod with a tank (sub ohm),he liking it so far,he is the one that has struggled the least when it came to quitting cigarettes.

Did get a whatsapp from him like 30 minutes ago saying he is using way more e-liquid than before.
Told him hey,you were using the XROS 3 so yeah of course you are, more wattage more consumption of e-liquid but less nic.

Next week i will give him an ol' RTA i don't use anymore and ''try'' teach him the basics of rebuildables, hope it all goes well.

Off for some me time, movie and a snack and off to bed....been a long day.

Yeah I know the feeling .... burning through about 30ml/day ......... but I have noticed that my consumption has started to drop since dropping the ole wattage and going single coil. I can't wait for the meson to get here :) @hittman has already filled me in on the important details about the Meson but I still look forward to both his and your review....

It's awesome that you are going to help that fella with a rebuildable and that you are getting him an RTA!

I had three other reviews to write when I received the Meson RTA for review so am a little behind on that one. I'm really not feeling like I need to rush it when it took them five weeks to get it to me.
