I received my rockin' ribbon wire from Germany this afternoon:headbang: 3 nice big 25 metre spools of Ni80 0.8mm×0.2mm ribbon wire to keep me winding coils for my Brunhilde's for a very long time and I even grabbed myself a little drip tip too:thumb:

I’ve seen ribbon wire before but never tried it. Is it hard to wrap coils with it? Does it heat quickly?

Maybe this will qualify for shiny stuff. A garage hobby I get involved in to take a break from my 'too many animals in the house' problem. This is my second garden gazing ball. I grouted it last night and have a few places to touch up today where the grout did not fill in. A little polishing and then a seal and it will go in my garden

That’s really nice! It must take a lot of patience to do that.

Not a true shiny but got a new medicine cabinet as part of our bathroom remodel. It came yesterday and was in a lot of pieces with about 100 screws. It took me about an hour to assemble it.

That is so beautiful. I'd be more likely to put it in the center of my kitchen table!

No matter what the original intended use for cabinets or shelves, when I'm looking at Lowes or Home Depot, my first thought always seems to be vape storage. I have a couple of dedicated vape cabinets and I've filled up otherwise wasted surface areas with boxes of nothing but coils. Another cool discovery are those ottomans with removable lids so they double for storage.

funny because, the first one I made, which was for my garden, was gifted to a friend. When I showed it to her she was so crazy about it that I gave it to her for her birthday the next day. She has hers on her dining room table. I swore, while making the first, that I would never make another. Very time-consuming. Mine will go in my garden :)

I have a 6 foot tall cabinet in my basement full plus lots of storage bins and boxes. I’ve been playing around with the idea of putting in some kitchen cabinets and countertop down there to have more storage and a nice place for mixing.

It's a very tasty wire and I'd definitely recommend giving it a go Mate! I've always used Ni80 and it's fairly easy to wrap a coil with. You can get a thicker gauge wire to suit your vaping needs, I vape at 23 watts with my 0.8mm×0.2mm if you want a vape closer to 30-35 watts you would be better off with a gauge around 1mm×0.3mm. Because the wire is very thin it heats up very fast and my nichrome heats up extra fast :thumb:
