That looks like a pretty nifty little setup you are rockin' there. Good for you and glad you found something you like for on the go. I really like my MVP2 and with the ego adapter it works just fine with evods for out and about.

So I go into a local vape shop last night and explain my itaste 3.0 batteries don't last long enough. I want something that'll make it so I can leave the charger and my plethora of batteries at home when I go to work. Person shows me this bazooka length thing that holds this and/or that battery that has x number of hours of capacity, yadda more generic bull crap so speak, yadda like you'd read on an advertisement for Blu or Njoy. Plus batteries, plus charger, total about $130. I thought for a few minutes and said "thanks but I'll just charge my batteries instead for that kind of price and hassle.
Today I go to another local shop that I've dealt with a couple of times and really liked and basically tell them the same thing that I'm tired of carrying a huge carry case around just in case. The lady suggests an mvp and it has everything I need included, $70.
I'm rocking a new mvp , stopped by Dollar General on the way home and found a cell phone case that fits it perfectly that has an elastic loop on the side that holds 1 evod snugly, cost $5. I cut the throw away rubber tip off of an iclear to cover the battery threads where it connects to the tank and it fits just right to keep dust out and the eGo to 510 shall adaptor on the evod keeps that end clean as well as the rubber tip on the inhale end
The mvp actually feels more ergonomic in hand than the itaste batteries do

Yea, that Dr. Who episode is one of my all time fav's. I love the combo of humor, sci-fi and creepy, scarey. Not to mention quoteable lines.

I want to be heavily into DIY but I'm just starting out. My goal is to have vapeable eliquids under 5% PG max, preferably 0%. But we'll see. I know that's not everyone's goal and I can do more PG just not for long. I shouldn't push it since my symptoms are immediate, but what the hey - that's what epi-pens are for. Life would be very dull if I paid full attention to all my allergies.

So no pressure, please, not on my account (I can always get a pint of b&j's). Flavor is developed, fine tuned, honed and crafted. Coaxed into being. But most of all, should be fun. But I'm just beginning. I may have other words about it in a month.

Chocolate seems to be a difficult flavor anyway. Just the bit I've done, it wouldn't take much to convience me that DIY is hard to do without having most all flavors from every brand at hand. Ouch.

I understand about the pg totally. If I get near 30% I start having cotton mouth bad enough that I go though 2 pots of coffee in a single 12 hr shift.

Mine normally are 85-90% VG and it just smooths out so nicely. I will say that the higher VG content juice does take a bit longer to steep out to what I would call "fully mature".

My suggestion:

1. E-juice me up calculator. All you have to do is look at the screen and it makes perfect sense. Hit up the flavor blender to have even better control of your flavor profile.

2. Get some good syringes (measuring by drops sucks and is inconsistent) and put some clear tape over the numbers so they don't rub off from use. Even a 1ml syringe is OK to draw up straight VG without a needle. Speaking of which, if you draw the liquid up with a needle (even a blunt one) on the syringe, make sure you remove the needle before adding it to your recipe since you can't measure what's in the needle or repeat it for next time.

There's my soapbox for the day, BTW, morning folks!!

a dual TV tuner that you hook up to your computer. Lets you watch or record 2 tv shows on your pc. I think I still have the remote that goes to it. It has the cables I used to hook it up. I paid Dell a lot for it years ago. Probably obsolete now unless you know how to play with that sort of stuff. I used to use it to watch cable tv on my pc. Has ability to use pc like another tv. Have not used it in a few years. It is an external device, not internal board. I think I have one of those in my computer too. My old desk top with xp on it.

ah. yeah im into things like that lol. i have a internal tuner card i got off craigslist pretty cheaply. it works, but one of the tuners is having issues. and device manufacturer.. vista =/= win7 drivers.. please actually update drivers for win7 rather than say use vista drivers that do not provide full functionality. especially when you still sell the product.

The iclear 30 drip neck fits the side like the evod as well. It doesn't look as "oem" hanging from the side but it'll work in a pinch.
Between the beauty ring fitting better and the ability to go 9+ watts without instant kill of the battery I'm getting a MUCH better experience from the iclear 30Ss as well.

There's a media rate for books, cds, dvds that's much cheaper. You might also want to look up a used bookstore. I never used to buy garden books after apx 1980 or so because that's when all the pesticides became available. There's a niche market for books, esp. if they are out of print. A lot of the independent bookstores are connected such that they know if they've got a buyer waiting or not. If your really getting into it, check out consignment shops. Or have a garage sale.

I've heard Amazon was better than Ebay to sell. It takes longer. Sometimes stuff like that it's best to get it over with and done. Not really much different than if ECF had a forum for listing that stuff.

Or go for the middle road. Box 'em up, label the boxes and put them off to the side for awhile. See if you really miss them, say your goodby's. The day will come when you know it's time for them to go or not. Boxing them up may be enough for now.

Well, I wish my addictive personality showed an affinity to cleaning the house, doing tasks I do not like and in general, things that are good for me.

I am in that bedroom/computer room and trying to part with books about gardening and landscaping that I know I am never going to make use of again, a bunch of my paralegal textbooks, some books on various topics that I got into during different periods of my life. About a half dozen modems, a tv tuner, all kinds of computer cables. Do not even ask me what is shoved into the various closets in my house.

How do you just let go and get rid of it. I am thinking Ebay, but the cost to ship books is going to be a killer and how to judge the weight? Before vaping I would have sat down and had a couple cigarettes to think about it. Now I am vaping, but at least I am trying to figure out what to do about it and have gotten rid of a few things.

It would be great if ECF had a place where we could swap things other than just vaping material. You know, a Kayfun Lite or 2 for the complete Nero Wolfe mysteries series. Or a few dozen gardening books for some juice. Just a thought.

Oh yeah, totally understand that.

The setup I got will fit my tool belt much more discreetly as well. It'll slip easily between my walkie and hand held inventory computer holster. It also is much more discreet next to my cellphone holster, being that the phone is Note 2 it looks tiny beside it. Discretion is very important to me, I'm not one anymore to want to show off, or look like one, my possessions. Out of the case being used there's no discretion possible but I'd rather get the conversation about vaping going before showing how it works and tastes.

tv tuner.. the box that you hook to your tv from cable provider? or the computer part that you plug into your computer..?

Top. It is an Adaptec Dual TV tuner and FM Radio made to be used with Windows XP Media Center. I have the remote for it and all the wires, cables, etc.

I also have a bag of at least 25 or more of the old floppy disks, the small square ones. And some kind of port with the computer board. And lots of sundry cables. Operating systems for various ms pcs over the years, old software. Geez, I do not think I ever cleaned that little cabinet out. lol Oh, and several cable modems, not sure if there is a router or two in there. I do not know the difference. And a whole family of mice. (computer mice, just to clarify)

They have been on my bookshelves for years and there are only 2 or 3 that I go to for info or troubleshooting, except my cookbooks. I know I need to part with them. Would love to sell then and make a little money to pay for some of this juice I have been vaping all these months. lol Books are heavy though. I will have to check Amazon and see what they charge to sell on their site. Ebay has gotten pricey, although the hook with PayPal does make it smoother. I guess I could guesstimate the weight of a box of books or magazines and charge shipping that way. Hmm....

Used/collectible book stores? Out here? There is one big place in Nashville I could check with.

I guess my point was instead of performing surgery all at once, you could break it down into baby steps. Sometimes that seems more manageable. I find it's easy to get overwhelmed and I have to remind myself there's more than one way to do anything (almost).

I just need to lock myself in the room for however long it takes and just do it. Then next season or so lock myself in each closet and go through all that stuff. Lots of designer clothes that don't fit from my younger and skinnier days, omg the shoes!, you know the drill. I also have a collection of etchings, some framed, some not, that I have collected over the years. I know there is not a DaVinci or Van Gogh in there but who knows if a couple of those artists have become successful in the last 20 to 30 years. Wouldn't that be nice. We could all retire! I do have 2 numbered early prints from a San Francisco artist that I bought in the late 1970s. One of her prints is hanging in San Francisco Int'l Airport.

I have a lot of memories in things. Ive let some things go that I wish I hadn't. Then again, I have 100x's more stuff that means nothing to me. Sorting through it is the hardest. For me it's doing anything is better than nothing - including boxing it up. Then if I have a sale later, I'm a much better judge of what to keep. Just not everything at the same time. It's nice to do it at your own pace. Nothing wrong with that.

Yeah. Depending on what the modem/routers are they might (should) still work, just wouldn't be the fastest and may not support speeds over 30mbs.

With an external tv tuner I might be able to hack together some drivers to make it work with my Android tablet. Watching live tv from my tablet.. interesting idea lol. But alas I don't have the free time I used to.

I just got vapemail today from one of the contests I won. It was from Stachesauce, it's Fantastic! Five bottles all great! Not a one was a bust!
I like it better than some of the Standard, Blueprint and Jacksons! (some is excellent too)

I don't know what they charge yet for the juice but these will probably be reordered at some point. I only reorder outstanding juices. Meaning maybe twice that has happened. Everybody has their own tastes, but these were excellent. Not heavy, very nice.

I want to take a moment and say thank you to all of you that helped me through the hard times, I did not forget that. I hope to do some nice things for you at some point. Without you I would not be vaping now.

Congrats on joining the MVP club! I love mine; it's all I use these days unless I want to mess around with the mechs.
