Congrats!

I just rewicked some protank heads with rayon and every single one is gurgling and leaking on me. Grr. Don't have enough in there. Wondering if I add some more as a flavor wick will help or not.

Yes, it helps a great deal. I wasn't having the gurgling, but everytime I took the tank off to refill, there was some juice on the battery contact. So I just added more rayon onto the flavor wick, and it's helped a lot -- great vape, too!

You are doing great Andria, I do think the attitude you approach vaping with is a big part of how things go. When you have equipment and juice you are happy with it makes it much more enjoyable than smoking.

So we went up to Nashville and looked at that granite. It is not our slab. Evidently they used that slab that was labeled ours for someone else's kitchen. No solution today. The backup granite (the one with the pink in it) is no longer available in the quantity needed to do our whole kitchen. So all is on hold until sometime Monday when the owner gets back in town and he can come up with something that will work for us.

Looks like no granite on Tuesday, no plumber, no appliances. I have to call everybody and push it all back again. Just no sure for how long this time. I Hate Remodeling!!!!!!!

On a more positive note, I got three tanks out of the Diy Caramel Pear Black Tea I made 2 months ago. I really did enjoy the taste in my r91 so I am going to find my way into where all my Diy stuff is and try to find a place where I can make up a 30ml bottle of it and get it steeping. If that works out, next is 60ml of it.

I have the TFA RY4 Double flavoring. Anyone here know at what percent I should mix it with and how long of a steep does it need? Want to get it started.

You're right, and I had much better stuff this time than when I quit in Feb -- using an eRoll! And a lot of good ejuice too!

This is my current arsenal:

On the left -- apple/cinnamon 11mg,
On the right, blueberry muffin, about 8.5mg
And the rocket in the middle is the ADV Virginia. It was filled with 9.5mg earlier, but I vaped about half of it, so I refilled with some 6.5mg for the evening -- in the morning, before we go up to my folks', I'll top it off again with some 10mg.

Thank you much Jazz. I am going baby steps. I am quite pleased with my first attempt. Hoping to follow it up with another winner.

I have a chance to get in on some 100mg nic base, but I am finding that I am a little nervous about working with that concentration. What with DH and the kitty I do not need a spill or mistake. So I am still trying to make up my mind. I have a 120ml bottle of 60mg in the freezer so I think I may think on the 100mg for a while longer.

well today is my first day smoke-free; i've been vaping 11.5mg since i woke up about a half hour ago, and it seems to be doing the job, no cravings.

Last night my husband goes "oh yeah, tomorrow, you're gonna try to not smoke." i just looked at him and said "try not, young skywalker, do or not do!" :d

Well, Internet dropped about 40 minutes ago. My entire neighborhood has no connection (I have all of the passwords because I have asked and offer free support for them, max 3 service calls a month since they don't pay me) and isp said there is an outage and techs are already working on it. Yeah, uhuh. I think they are just now arriving at the location since I knew the instant it dropped. Had to listen to sales promo say summer time is free time, get internet service now and get first month free, so I asked first it. Was told only for new subscribers. Asked if there were any for current subscribers or am I just SOL? my monthly bill is now half off for a year (I also have ~200 trouble calls in the last year due to thier issues so I think it was a customer retention plan lol. I CANT switch providers because nobody else services my house. )

I also have a cold. Cant taste anything except Ethereallinks cough drop. It makes my nose run. I can breathe again!


Care to share recipe please? Lol. Can pm me if you don't want it public.

Lol, I know those days. Sorry to hear about the outage but very glad I don't have to deal with telling people their modem thinks they're fat (BC they have to run up and down stairs/bad install location)!

I'm very happy to share my "Ultimate Cough Drop" reciepe with the world, glad you can still taste something!

Here it is in percentages since I deal with 100mg nicotine base:

Peppermint 1%
Menthol 2%
Koolada 2%
Sweetener (EM) 2%
Eucalyptus 3%

I run mine at about 88% vg since I love it in a dripper and very low ohms to open up my lungs like a breathing treatment!

OK, quick update. Thought about a cigarette several times today but cuddled up with my girlfriend (my dna20 Hana instead.

Work the past few weeks has sucked like a hoover and now my wife has taken my second fave kfl! Oh well, I'm cool with it since she built it herself and I only had to tweak the leaking from a wicking issue (photo tutorial to follow).

Other than that, congrats to ALL milestones, even 1 hour is a milestone as long as you keep going and don't give in!

OK quick photo tut... Kayfun building.

My wife built her first and I had to tweak it for her Magneto so here is a quick walkthrough.

3/32" id coil at 1.2ohms and firing like a champ.

Her wick - cotton (organic)

Wick trimmed to outside of chimney, a bit long maybe... Tucked into the upper 1/3 of juice channels.

Firing with primed wick...

Sorry to hear about the granite, you really can't get a break on this.

Very happy to hear your DIY CPBT is working out though.

I'm still in the middle of the new car crazies, running back and forth to the dealer, paint chip on hood fixed, Monday it goes in for the polysteel inside and out, then when the rebate check comes it goes back for fog lights and possibly vent visors so I can drive and vape in the rain. lol

I think I forgot to mention that I stopped in at Mountain Oak Vapors last week, they are just down the street from the car dealer, and was extremely impressed. This is their original location with the lab and the place is absolutely spotless, the employees super super nice and helpful. I reupped my Chai Tea Latte, got some Strawberry brulee and a bottom feeder Cyclone atty that they were more than happy to drill the air hole on. Really good people and nice shop, absolutely knowledgeable, IMHO anyone who stops in there and can't come out satisfied probably can't be satisfied anywhere.

Yes Uncle, its the same thing. If you prefer the menthol instead of mint just pull down the mint.

As for the flavors I get mine from TFA, great shipping and "trial" sizes (4ml flavor concentrate) are about $1.50 (at last purchase).

I have the TFA ry4 Asian so not sure about the double strength stuff but I can tell you where I start.

If you want a bold flavor go with around 15% and I go with a water bath at 160f for about 3 hrs (insulated food thermos, Walmart camping section) and then shake the ever-loving hell out of it. Normally its pretty good starting there but it does get a bit better over a week or so.

Asian RY4 is a mellower tobacco flavor not as sweet or vanilla/caramel as double RY4. It's actually the original RY4. They actually compliment each other nicely at 7% double 5% Asian
