You know what really bugs me? If you say something about the Beatles... and the person you're talking to says "who?" (to which I usually respond, "No, not The Who, The Beatles!")
One time when my son was about 8-9 yrs old, he asks me in all seriousness, "Mom... did they have TV when you were a kid?" I wanted to slap him! I said "Yes, and on it, when *I* was 8 yrs old, I got to watch when they WENT TO THE MOON!" Little monster!

When I was a kid we had a black and white tv. And I can not identify most of the popular singers/groups of today. We were trying to watch the network New Year's Eve shows and we both were so turned off by the music and banter that we did not watch it at all. We switched on Animal Planet. At least we understood what we were watching. lol
I try not to say anything when I see some of the younger people walking around with their pants down below their hips and covered in tattoos. Don't they know that employers in the corporate world are looking for clean cut robots and not pierced and tattooed employees? Or maybe that has changed too. I would not go to a doctor or accountant who looked like that. Maybe that is my own personal prejudice, but I would not trust their judgment.

Rap is a whole different think. How they can call it music when all they're doing is talking crap is beyond me.
