Now that you guys vary VV batts, and considering you already carry 2 different sizes of stainless/empty cartos... Any chance we could see carto tanks on the site? (pleasepleaseplease lol) SI keeps getting closer to being the only site I have to order from, and I would love to only order from you guys! All it would take is carto tanks, VapeDudes juices, and needle-tip bottles!
Edit: Needle Tip bottles should already be on the site. They could be used for Nano's, CE3s, X2 Clearomizers, and T3s!
Edit: Maybe not even a whole bottle, but just a needle-tip bottle topper!

I posted a similar question/comment on the Bloog thread.
After initially starting vaping with Mistics, I'm somewhat disappointed with Bloogs and Volts. The draw of the mistic reminded me of a regualr cig, while vaping Bloogs and Volts is almost like sucking air. I think the reason is the vents all around the bottom of the catridge as well as the holes on the battery thread . That allows too much air to enter the filter. Question is, will you be making the carts that have no openings ? Isnt enough air going thru the cap on the end to not need the extra holes?

You can block the holes using various methods, from tape to glue to nail polish to your fingers. Not enough air can get in through the LED end cap, through the battery, and into the carto so some extra holes are necessary.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it. Your results and mileage may vary. No warranty or guaranty is expressed or implied. Proceed at your own risk.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it might be difficult to unglue the cart to refill them every time ))
I guess the question that Im asking is why would mistics not need the cartridge vents at all and SIs an Bloogs would. Doesnt enough air get thru the bottom "flame" ?

No, not nearly enough air gets in through the LED end of the battery on a Volt. If you look carefully at the LED "ash" you'll notice two tiny rectangular vents there, far too small to get enough air in to run the carto. It does provide enough to activate the air flow switch to turn the battery on, but that's about it.

I haven't used a carto for quite a while so I just took a look at one and they do have four rectangular cutouts for air flow.. You could try blocking the holes, say one at a time, while the carto is off of the battery using any method you can think of. There are various putty style epoxies that you can get at auto supply stores. To experiment, you could also use candle wax to block them while on the battery. Also, on the battery itself, there are two air holes at the base of the threads where the carto screws on. You could try blocking one of them using a toothpick, or candle wax, to experiment a little further. Those two air holes are actually the primary air path to the air supply for the carto.

I use T3s from SI and block two of the three air holes in them using a thick "super" glue to get the draw where I like it. Some people like them exactly as the come out of the box with all three open. It all comes down to what you like and the best way to get there.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it. Your results and mileage may vary. No warranty or guaranty is expressed or implied. Proceed at your own risk.

As a former Mistic user I agree with you.

The difference between the Mistic and the Volt is the Volt is "sealed" to be resistant (but not leak proof on an auto) to leaks from the carto into the battery. If you look at the Mistic battery you'll see a hole in the center post and the air travels through the battery to the carto through that hole. The Volts have a solid post and draw most of their air in through the 2 holes under the threads with just a tiny bit coming through the battery for activation (on an auto). The options given by Awsum are the ways Volt users have found to alter the amount of air entering the carto, and I've used the "toothpick in one hole" method and it works very good. Hope we've helped!

Welcome to Voltville and happy vaping!!:vapor:

Thanks )
Actually, my batteries aren't sealed. Theres a hole in the center, just like mistics. Someone else on this forum had suggested that Mistics are actually a 901 set up.
Anyone care to recommend a good Mistic (901?) alternative ? Hopefully something that had a decent draw ? I just hate to be tied down to one brand.

Why? Would you like to improve their products?
Yes, I totally would! I was just thinking now about how I could design an adapter to fold a T3 and X2 batt setup in half. So I can get the exact same gear and performance, just more pocket friendly.

Not only that, but if I'm carrying something everyday, using it constantly, and I'm addicted to it, it seems prudent to understand how it was made and how it works.

The market might be too competitive to open source the whole thing, but I would love that
