Turns out, the idiot had his ChinaMod Special running at 85 watts, and didn't know how to fill it up. SUPER TYPICAL of the average Orange County/LA County vaper.

lol...So true, so true. ChinaMod Special mods and those types of users do seem to be the norm around here.

Sort of coming to kayfun late, never pulled the trigger on one. Not even going to play the clone game. Will get the V5 no doubt but my kabuki and silo will hold me over.

I sub ohm and tootle depending on my mood and whereabouts. I quit cold turkey September 2014 after 31 years of killing myself. I have used a KFL and it is a great tank. I look forward to the release of the V5.

How about an actual "on/off" button, in place of a complex assembly involving MULTIPLE threaded/spinning parts and a spring?

If that's what is coming, I'm sure it has the same threading as the kayfuns do and you could ad parts to increase the capacity. Things like longer chimney and longer mid sections.

Yep. All those parts and the only thing they accomplish is ON or OFF.

The KF4 is over-complicated as if only for the sake of complexity. Other RTA's have since come out with far more useful "juice control" with only a small fraction of the parts used in the Kayfun, and none of the connectivity issues.
